Description
Nestled in the heart of Vail Village is the recently rebuilt, family-owned Tivoli Lodge, a luxury ski resort known for years for providing friendly, caring, personal service. There are 66 spacious, new hotel rooms offering a choice of mountain or village views, many with fireplaces, and the Peter Seibert Suite serves up stunning 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains. The entire hotel is wireless, and other amenities include - meeting rooms, a fully-equipped fitness room, two outdoor hot tubs with mountain views, underground parking and ski storage. The luxurious and spacious lobby offers stunning mountain views and is reminiscent of a plush, lodge-style living room with over-sized chairs, leather sofas, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and small wine bar. The new European-style architecture blends perfectly into the surrounding natural environment with unobstructed views of Vail's golden Peak ski area. As the most visited, top ranked ski resort in North America, it's easy to envision Vail as a place to just ski, ski, and ski some more! Being just a block from Vail's main access point, the Vista Bahn ski lift, and a slightly longer walk from both the Golden Peak and Riva Rahn chairlifts, Tivoli Lodge is ideally situated to make your Vail ski vacation unforgettable. As if the centralized location isn't enough, they also offer skiers a valet ski and boot storage to make your transitions on and off the mountain as easy as possible. Being a ski town, Vail locals will tell you there are two seasons: snow, and the rest. Don't be fooled: "the rest" has a lot to offer. For example, when temperatures are soaring around the nation, Vail, at 8,250 feet above sea level, hovers comfortably in the mid-70s. Summer recreation options include everything from the highly intense: jeeping, rafting, kayaking, downhill mountain biking, rock climbing, and paragliding; to the more relaxing: balloon rides, horseback riding, fishing, golf, hiking, and tennis. You'll find Vail offers endless adventure, regardless of the season, and that the town is always bustling with a diverse and lively array of recreational and cultural offerings.

We went to Vail to experience Kelly Liken the restaraunt, which was fantastic. We stayed at the Tivoli Lodge. It was close to the "downtown" area, we walked everywhere. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. I think the only issue we had was the lack of Air Conditioning. It did get a little warm. We didn't say anything because we were only there for the night and it didn't get uncomfortably warm. We loved the in house "mascot" speedy, a chocolate lab that is very sweet and well behaved!

Best location for the lift - loved the complimentary coffee and cookies in the afternoon.Very comprehensive breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. We ate out every night and good food everywhere though pricey in some restaurants.Room and bathroom was very small, attention to detail needed - both bed headboards were broken and the humidifier was also broken.Boot storage would have been a nice touch and better for the hotels carpets!!Nice pool area and jacuzzi overlooking the slopes.Free internet in the lobby also a plus. Would definately go back again though would probably book an apartment for more space.

Description
We are a small Bavarian style hotel of 22 rooms and suites located at the base of Vail Mountain. The Vista Bahn chairlift is just out our back door -true ski-in/ski-out-. We also manage 6 privately owned 2-bedroom condominiums located in the Christiania Lodge, and another 40 privately owned condominiums located within 2 blocks of the lodge - ranging from studios to 7-bedroom units. Ski right up to the back door and have our ski valet store your skis and put your boots on the boot dryers while you head upstairs to Sarahs Lounge, one of the best apres ski spots in the village. Helmut Fricker still entertains once a week with his combination of Austrian songs, jokes and stories of Vail history. Summer guests will find the same relaxed charm, and will enjoy the walk through Vail Village shops and restaurants as well as the Ford Amphitheater and Betty Ford Gardens. The Christiania Lodge is the perfect place to relax on your vacation, and our friendly staff is here to help you get the most out of all that Vail has to offer. Office hours are 8am-11pm MST. Complimentary continental Breakfast and parking in the summer. Please note the following fees during winter season- Continental Breakfast USD 7.50 per person, parking in the winter USD 15 a day, humidifier rental USD 7.00 a day. Check-in time is after 4pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is at 11am. Please check-in at the front desk. If arriving late please call 1-970-476-5641 for instructions. Please call 1-970-476-5641 for after hours check-in procedure. The Vail Valley, home to wordclass Vail and Beaver Creek ski resorts, is a stunningly beautiful place with epic recreation, world-class events, wonderful weather and a convenient location.

Close to Red Lion and the Lifts

A great location for skiing and après ski. Steps away from the Vail Village lift an the Red Lion. Good breakfeast (which was an extra 7.50 per day) and an inviting bar/dining room. Only complaints are somewhat outdated electronics in the room, the fact that it was somewhat noisy at night (I was on the first floor and it was noisy from both outside and the room above me), and the slippery stairs to the pool (there is no separate hot tub but a nice heated pool). Generally an somewhat older crowd.

Cute Little Hotel

Receptionist could use an attitude adjustment in a big way. Room fairly clean. No air conditioning, comfortable and a decent bang for the buck. EXCELLENT location!
