Great resort just far enough away

We have stayed at Cascades numerous times during the summer because of the reasonable rates and very nice resort amenities, and friendly staff. It's far enough away from Vail town center that you don't have to deal with parking issues or overcrowding, but close enough that you can walk to Lionshead along Gore Creek in about 10-15min. Nice well furnished rooms and the facility is well maintained.

Description
Nestled in the heart of Vail Village is the recently rebuilt, family-owned Tivoli Lodge, a luxury ski resort known for years for providing friendly, caring, personal service. There are 66 spacious, new hotel rooms offering a choice of mountain or village views, many with fireplaces, and the Peter Seibert Suite serves up stunning 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains. The entire hotel is wireless, and other amenities include - meeting rooms, a fully-equipped fitness room, two outdoor hot tubs with mountain views, underground parking and ski storage. The luxurious and spacious lobby offers stunning mountain views and is reminiscent of a plush, lodge-style living room with over-sized chairs, leather sofas, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and small wine bar. The new European-style architecture blends perfectly into the surrounding natural environment with unobstructed views of Vail's golden Peak ski area. As the most visited, top ranked ski resort in North America, it's easy to envision Vail as a place to just ski, ski, and ski some more! Being just a block from Vail's main access point, the Vista Bahn ski lift, and a slightly longer walk from both the Golden Peak and Riva Rahn chairlifts, Tivoli Lodge is ideally situated to make your Vail ski vacation unforgettable. As if the centralized location isn't enough, they also offer skiers a valet ski and boot storage to make your transitions on and off the mountain as easy as possible. Being a ski town, Vail locals will tell you there are two seasons: snow, and the rest. Don't be fooled: "the rest" has a lot to offer. For example, when temperatures are soaring around the nation, Vail, at 8,250 feet above sea level, hovers comfortably in the mid-70s. Summer recreation options include everything from the highly intense: jeeping, rafting, kayaking, downhill mountain biking, rock climbing, and paragliding; to the more relaxing: balloon rides, horseback riding, fishing, golf, hiking, and tennis. You'll find Vail offers endless adventure, regardless of the season, and that the town is always bustling with a diverse and lively array of recreational and cultural offerings.

We went to Vail to experience Kelly Liken the restaraunt, which was fantastic. We stayed at the Tivoli Lodge. It was close to the "downtown" area, we walked everywhere. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. I think the only issue we had was the lack of Air Conditioning. It did get a little warm. We didn't say anything because we were only there for the night and it didn't get uncomfortably warm. We loved the in house "mascot" speedy, a chocolate lab that is very sweet and well behaved!

Great buffet every morning. Bus stop very close by to get to the rest of the villages in Vail. Bus system was very easy to use even with 4 kids. Our room was okay, but at least it was spacious. We did request a washer and dryer and they accommodated us.

Boutique Perfection during Vail's Quiet September
-
LittleDrummerBoy
- Sep 27, 2011
We booked this hotel for a September stay during Vail's quiet fall season in between summer and ski season. The location was perfect situated right next to a hike/bike/walk trail and the Eagle Bohn Gondola which carries you up the mountain to Adventure Ridge and fall viewing. The hotel is located in Lionshead village which is fabulous. Vail Village is also an easy walk down a scenic trail less than one mile. We were upgraded upon arrival which resulted in our giving-up a King bed for (2) queens yet with larger space and a fireplace and balcony. Spa was among the best we have encountered and we actually went back a second day to use the spa and massage facilities a second time. Food was very good and well priced at hotel pub upon our arrival. Concierge helped us with reservations and area information on phone prior to our arrival. We are planning to return during ski season.

Had a great experience at this hotel. The room was compact but well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is also located right next to the slopes of Vail Mountain and in the center of Vail Village so you can walk to everything. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
The cost is a little high ($330/night plus $20/day resort fees + parking) but is on par with high end ski resorts...stayed in a similar one in Snowmass/Aspen which wasn't nearly as nice.
Would definitely stay there again!

Our stay was all-around fantastic. Vail was our last stop in a 10-day road trip, and we were ready to relax, enjoy the pool, enjoy the town and take it easy!
We got in to town around 9pm and I was unclear on their exact location so I called and the person that answered the phone walked me through step by step. It is really easy, I was just very tired. :)
We checked in with no issue. Went to our room and found an incredibly welcoming and super comfortable environment.
We had a 2 br. It was very neat and clean. The room had an Xbox and dvd player. The front desk offers FREE 1-day rentals for games, movies and also board games.
The kids totally enjoyed the pool, which had a basketball hoop and a ton of pool toys for FREE use.
The toilet in the guest bathroom was spraying water so I let the front desk know and it was fixed within minutes.
We were there just before the 4th of July so there was a ton of town information available for us with "things to do".
We will definitely stay at Eagle Point again.

We went in the summer. We hiked. The room/condo we stayed was beautiful, dog friendly and great location. The staff was great! The front desk person wanted us to get the best room with a river view without us really asking, he just wanted us to have a great experience-And we did. Super affordable!!

Just like the ad said, a great location for skiing. Very close to the lift. Loved the locker to store 4 sets of skiis, boots, poles and assorted stuff.
The pool and 2 hot tubs were clean and had a nice view of Vail.
The condo itself was clean and had everything a family of 4 (kids 10 and 12)needed. We would certainly stay there again.
