Our hotel is the only Marriott brand in Steamboat Springs; ALL rooms are smoke-free! Enjoy FREE Hot Continental Breakfast, FREE HSIA and USA Today. Steamboat is indeed the real thing, with its natural hot springs, friendly local people and a great old western town full of character, history, & of course, famous champagne powder skiing. The town boasts wonderful old stores like the 100 year old F.M.Light, museums, galleries & a great variety of restaurants from BBQ to gourmet, at prices you just don't see in other ski resorts. Steamboat has something for everyone; festivals, ballooning, golf & fishing, a winter driving school, sleigh rides, and all the winter sports. The Fairfield Inn is the real thing too - from the warm welcome & stone fireplace ablaze in the lobby to the spacious rooms, spa & fireplace suites, delicious hot complimentary breakfast, all at a surprisingly affordable price.

Hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful.
Nothing fancy - but was comfortable.
Last hotel on the highway - a little to far from everything for me. Next time, I would pay extra to be a little closer.

The Steamboat Fairfield was very clean with nicely appointed rooms and great maid service. The continental breakfast was the best ever and in a clean and well serviced dining room. The staff and manager were extremely helpful and friendly. Free transportation to the gondola and back. Free city bus service in front of the hotel-no car needed. The wirlpool and pool and exercise room keep the muscles in shape for the next day
This one is a winner on all counts. I will be staying here on all my trips to The Boat!

The Hotel Bristol, located in downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado, is an intimate, full service hotel the way it used to be, with a restaurant and saloon right on the premises serving up pasta and pizza and the finest libations a trail dry throat can imagine. Rooms at the Bristol are small and comfy but the location is a great starting point for getting to Strawberry Hot Springs (the primary goal of our trip) , the falls, and some great restaurants and shops in Steamboat Springs.

Mostly great, could use new beds.

I've stayed here several times and really enjoy the location and the staff. It's easy walking distance to everything in downtown Steamboat and right on the bus line for the free shuttle to the ski mountain. The staff are kind and always available. The one aspect that was sub-par was that the beds weren't super comfortable and ours sagged a bit in the middle. Otherwise, a great place for a great price. Breakfast too!

Nice clean motel with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was very basic. Great location being close to downtown and right on the Yampa River with a nice bike path nearby. I would definitely stay there again.

Description
This cozy lodge is reminiscent of the ski lodges in Bavaria. The wood burning stove adds to its warmth and friendly atmosphere. It is not unusual to be treated to an impromptu wine and cheese party or some hot cider or iced tea. It is the only property where guests can get a deluxe continental breakfast and catch the free bus just outside the door. Hiking, biking, tubing, fly fishing, ice skating, hot springs and skiing are just blocks away. Guests will be treated as if they are at a five star hotel, only this property is very affordable. Because we are a small property, guests and staff get to know one another. We welcome you to the Alpiner family, where you can even bring your best friend. No need to leave Fido at home. Minimum age required at check-in is 21. Check-in is 4pm. Check-out is 11am. Minimum age required at check-in is 21. Our lobby closes at 11pm. However, there is a phone outside the door with a direct line to our on-site security service. Come explore Steamboat Springs, where year round activities abound. Outdoor activities include skiing, fishing, tubing, camping and biking. And downtown shopping and dining are just a few minutes walk. Steamboat Springs has something for everyone.
