Lichenhearth condominiums are in a prime ski-in, ski-out location, adjacent to the base of the new Village Express ski lift. Each studio and one-bedroom unit features a fireplace, private balcony and fully equipped kitchen they are serviced every other day by the housekeeping staff. Amenities include a heated pool, whirlpool, sauna, covered parking, free laundry facilities.
Condominium guests at this property will be checking in at Snowmass Mountain Chalet 115 Daly Lane, Snowmass Village one level below the Village Mall. Mountain Chalet has a 24 hour front desk, van service, concierge, and more for our guests. Good for a family with two young kids

Lichenhearth is a set of privately owned condos rented through several managing agents. We liked number 23. (Other apartments could be quite different.)
There's a car spot, and most everything you need in the apartment. Our focus was skiing, and you can ski in. It's a 100+ metre walk to the base of the lifts. It's very handy to the kids' ski school, and the cable car shuttle (free) up to the Village Mall. It is also close to the village road and bus stops, though we never used buses.
Lichenhearth is not the smartest address in town, but was good value, and very comfortable. A welcome package made our late arrival easier.
One small thing - there were three chairs for the dining table, and two for the kitchen bench - a minor annoyance if you have 4 people.
Overall, though, good facilities, good price, good position, nice view. We would happily go back to Snowmass (fantastic mountain) and to Lichenhearth.

Great hotel staff, super friendly and willing to make your stay special. Close to the mall for ski rental. be sure to visit the front desk for a discount card to Incline. Artisan was a great restaurant with an amazing Thanksgiving Meal. The hotel bar was fairly priced and happy hour made it even moreso. We are already planning our return trip, possibly even this season.

My girlfriend and I stayed here on a recent trip to Aspen. Snowmass is about 10 minutes outside of downtown Aspen. The price was reasonable on Orbitz. The staff was super personable and helpful. Loved the hot tub! The restaurant looked pretty good although we ate in Aspen the night we were there. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was wonderful. With full services with a restaurant, a spa, a gym, and a full staff, our stay was quite amazing. Our family skied while we stayed at this hotel and because this hotel was a ski on ski out hotel, it was very easy to acess the slopes.

These two-bedroom, two-bath units are just over the ski bridge from the Assay Hill lift (and on the free Snowmass Village shuttle route) and offer panoramic mountain views and scenic seclusion. Features include completely equipped kitchens, brick fireplaces, and private balconies. A heated swimming pool, whirlpool, and sauna are located on the premises. Recently upgraded landscaping with entryway rock decor add to the ambiance. Units are serviced every other day by housekeeping.

We ended up being put in a room at the Silvertree Hotel, which is managed by the same company and is right next door to the Wildwood Lodge. Our room was fantastic, including a beautiful patio which was great for our dog. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Located right next to the Snowmass Village mall with plenty of restaurant options and shopping.

Very comfortable lodging. Amenities were nice. Did not use pool, fitness center, etc. Restaurant is top notch. Was there for business, so was not in my room for any length of time, but found the accommodations comfortable for the length of time I was there.

We needed a place to stay near Aspen for a wedding. We didn't want to pay Aspen prices. The price was in our range. The room was clean. They had a ceiling fan but no AC - which may be typical in Colorado. If you need a bed and not a hangout spot it served us well. We were charged $20 on our credit card not sure why. Need to call on that. We didn't know the front desk closes at 9:00. Our name and key were laying outside the front door where anyone could of picked it up.

Viceroy is a very good hotel. The 8K restaurant is great and its amenities, especially the SPA, are perfect to recover from a day of snowboard. The only problem I would say about it is that you may end up listening to talks held on the room next to yours.

The hotel is brand new and absolutely beautiful. The service was the best I have experienced at any hotel. The only problem I had was the location, it is removed from the main Snowmass mall, and though somewhat up and coming, Snowmass is still no Aspen. The hotel does have complimentary shuttles anywhere in Snowmass and there is free public transportation to Aspen which was a nice option.

Pokolodi Lodge is one of Snowmass Village's most popular lodges. Conveniently located adjacent to the Village Mall and to the Snowmass Ski Area, the Pokolodi prides itself on service and family friendliness. Each room is equipped with color cable TV, refrigerators, coffee makers and hair dryer. Relax in the outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tub. Daily maid service, ski storage and laundry facilities are also provided. Shuttle service to and from the Aspen/Snowmass Airport is complimentary during business hours ($5 per person in non-business hours). The Pokolodi Lodge is a great choice for Snowmass lodging needs in both summer and winter.
Continental Breakfast will be served 8-9:30 a.m. during the summer season, June 3 to September 18, 2011, and 7-9 a.m. during the winter season, November 24 to April 15, 2012.
Pokolodi Lodge front desk will go to limited hours starting Sunday September 5th, closing at 5pm MST. The front desk and lobby will be open from 8am to 5pm everyday of the week.
If a guest is arriving after 5pm they will need to call our on-call phone at 970-379-2691,
this number is also posted next to the front door of the Pokolodi Lodge.
PLEASE NOTE: Outdoor pool and hot tub will be open for summer season 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. May 21 to October 9, 2011. Pool will close October 10th and re-open for the winter season on November 24th. Winter hours are 3-9 p.m., through April 15, 2012.

Had to be in Aspen Dec 28 and 29 2011 for business and as a last minute booking. It was far more expensive to stay closer to town than SnowMass, so I booked in SnowMass. In SnowMass there are a variety of lodging options and the most affordable was the Pokolodi Lodge.
Door to door from Aspen airport to the lodge was 16 minutes.
I was expecting a dive, but it was not...in fact it was the most surprising hotel stay for a 2 star rating I've ever experienced. The hotel is really nothing special to look at from the outside but it was obvious to me that they had done remodeling on the rooms including upgrading the bathrooms (in fact everything in the whole room was recently redone except for the bathroom door and the door jam). I had one of the few King Beds at the place and it also came with a pull out sofa which I didn't need. My room, 303, overlooked the heated pool and hot tub which looked inviting and had people in it despite the 24 degree weather outside.
The staff was amazingly pleasant and helpful, and the lodge is literally across the street from the restaurants and shops in SnowMass.
My only word of caution is that if you arrive after 11:00 pm, the office is shut down. YOU MUST CALL beforehand to make arrangements to get your keys if you will be arriving after 11:00 (unless you feel compelled to sleep in your car).
They also serve a complementary continental breakfast every morning, which was solid, but not something you'll write home about.
Overall, I'd say it was a great stay. I have to go back in February and I'm not even going to try and stay in Aspen.

The location is perfect for hikers and bikers because the mountain trails start right outside of your door. We rented a bike at the Snowmass Village Mall, rode into Aspen on a beautiful, paved trail. Our favorite Snowmass Village Mall restaurant was Zanes--wonderful Mexican food with micro brewery beers on a sunny terrace. Although our condo was a little dated looking it was comfortable and the Top of the Village staff was very friendly and efficient.We usually stay in Aspen but now we are converts to the less crowded, less expensive atmosphere of Snowmass Village. If you go in the summer don´t miss the Aspen Music Festival;it is outstanding.

This hotel was very difficult to find, no signs anywhere. There was some very loud activity in the parking lot or hot tub 2 out of 3 evenings making it difficult to sleep.
After those two complaints, the other comments are very positive. The condo/room spacious for 2 people, very clean, everything we needed.

Convenient and great early-season deal!

We have stayed at TOV for 2 years now, and like the location at the top of the mall area-perfect for ski-in/ski-out. Free shuttle, wi-fi, covered parking space and the Village Market is close for groceries. The Mall has many dining options easy walking distance. The units are typically updated nicely and while our unit was on the small-side, we rarely spend much time in the unit anyway so it was perfect for us and our two teenagers. We got a great deal/night over Thanksgiving. We were also lucky enough during our stay to have a curious fox visit our windows each night! We will be back again.

These two-bedroom units have undergone an extensive $1.75 million renovation, with the comfort and enjoyment of guests in mind. The units have been extended to increase the size of the living rooms by 100 sq. ft. Larger front windows provide generous sunlight and beautiful views. Other improvements include new gas fireplaces, carpet, paint, window treatments and furnishings. A freshly landscaped park-like setting, heated walkways, and a large hot pool add to the ambiance. Just 50 yards from the slopes, the Terracehouse offers maid service every other day, convenient access to the free Village Shuttle, and is only a short walk from the restaurants and shopping in the Village Mall.
Condominium guests at this property will be checking in at Snowmass Mountain Chalet located at 115 Daly Lane in Snowmass Village, one level below the Village Mall. Guest arriving at the Aspen Airport may still use the courtesy phone located in the baggage claim area to notify our bellstaff of their arrival.

The condo, number 214, did not have ac; however, the front desk readily provided a fan. The fan made all of the difference. The location was perfect for the JAS festival and parking was ample.

Great location to ski slopes at Snowmass Village shops and restaurants. Snowmass/Aspen have great free bus services to get around and to area ski resorts(Buttermilk, Aspen, and Aspen Highlands). great outdoor pool and hot tubs. check-in staff friendly and helpful. unit sizes vary which would serve couples to families.

Great condo features

We enjoyed the features of having a condo, i.e. stove, micro and fridge and the available space. One major drawback was that it seemed there was no way to turn down the heat; we had to open a window. Temps were in the 30's in the night but the heat inside was too high and air very dry. Also, someone left an alarm set to go off at 6AM; we had hoped to RELAX and sleep in a bit!! Maids should check those things!

The [...] accommodations at Villas at Snowmass Club exceeded expectations. We expected a place to barely fit the three of us, only to find that with two sofa beds, the condo comfortably could fit eight! Deluxe appointments, friendly, super accessible to skiing and the club provided many activities and a spa. The views from the one bedroom and the living room were breathlessly beautiful. Everyone had a view and lots of elbow room. I would highly recommend this place [...].
