Breakfasts were good, room appointments were very good including especially beds and linens, there were 3 stars of comfort and quiet if you go by my system of 1 star abysmal, 2 stars good and normal for less than $100 per night, and 3 stars is above and beyond in quality for this price range, 4 stars I can't afford and therefore have no experience with that level, pool was warm, location fairly good, service very attentive. Excellent place.

Enjoyed very much staying at La Quinta in Golden, Colorado. Was close to my destination and good location for nearby restaurants and other necessary services. Staff was helpful and room was clean. Door lock was broken upon checking in, but was reported and fixed immediately. Would stay there again!

Great location, easy to get to downtown Denver, Golden, and Boulder. The hotel only has a room cleaning service once a week, unless you request it for more, but since we just stayed for a weekend, it was fine. The front desk staff was always helpful with hints and directions and whatever we needed. They have a "hospitality" type room, where you can buy everyday items, like frozen and refrigerated foods, free coffee, and laundry machines.
You can "rent" movies from the front desk for free and they have a pretty good selection, so every room has a dvd player if you want to bring your own.

This property was exactly what I expected for a relatively small in town hotel. Located on the main drag within walking distance of multiple resturants. The hotel sits above the river that runs through town and has access to the path the follows the river in both directions. This provided the opportunity for a beautiful early morning walk The hotel is also located only a short drive from downtown Denver. this provide access to big city ememities with small town charm.

The room was very nice. Great Shower. Heat/AC system was quiet, which was a nice change from most hotels. Water in room tasted a little funny. Breakfast food was okay but not great. Evening happy hour was very nice.

A group of friends and I were looking for a reasonably priced hotel in good proximity to Red Rocks and we found it with the Marriott West!
Pros: Free shuttle to take you to and from local grocery store, eating spots.
Very friendly and courteous staff
Outdoor and indoor pool and hot tub
Cons: Long drive from hotel and there's no airport shuttle
Not much in walking distance for entertainment

The Silk Pincushion is a vintage historic home that has been created into a Bed and Breakfast. We have three lavish guest rooms equipped with private baths, television, VCR DVD, FREE High Speed Internet, comfortable beds, airconditioners and spectacular mountain views. We also offer a carriage house suite that has all of the above plus a full bathroom and full kitchen...plus off street parking. The hotel was pretty ordinary. We expected a little bit more based on the $90+ per night they charged. Our only complaint was the pool was very chilly. Beds were pretty ordinary. Based on the price of the room, a pillow top mattress would have been nice.

Great rate. Clean rooms. Good service. Very comfortable and kitchen was nice. I requested one of the work units in my room and it was perfect for working out of the room for the week. The Internet was slower than what I was used to. Speeds sometimes were only about twice a dial up modem. At best it wasn't anywhere near a DSL line. I used my Sprint card sometimes because it was faster.

The Comfort Suites is located next to the Mariott Fairfield. It's conveniently located just off of the highway and is in a nice area. And you can't beat the price.

The Comfort Inn was very comfortable, the room very clean and the breakfast choices very good. Coffee was always available. The room had a table, microwave and refrigerator and was nice and roomy. Access to the lobby was easy and close parking available.
