The Best Western University on College Ave is very reasonably priced and easy to find. Although perhaps a bit more worn than some of the newer pricier places in Fort Collins -- it was perfectly clean and comfortable. The room included a huge King bed, very decent shower and full temperature controls. I especially liked the pool and hot tub, but the eliptical in the exercise room was squeeky. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was having to walk outside across the parking lot to get to the pool/exercise area. Still, I would recommend this hotel if you are hoping to be located near the University or Old Town district.

We found the hotel to be comfortable, good location for shopping and places to eat. Beds were comfort. Pool was a little chilly, shallow end was a little to deep for the younger children to stand up in and play. But they still had a great time, bring floaties. Our room was clean and had no problems checking in early. We came just for a quick stay to take our granddaughter home till after thanksgiving. Cost for the stay was reasonable. I'd do it again.

Once we found the hotel, everything was first rate. The staff was friendly and courtious. I was amazed at how large the room was. It was very clean and comfortable, included a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer, ironing board, and iron. The bed was really comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed a full breakfast, which was very nice since he can't have bread or gluten products. I definitely would stay here again.

The hotel was great. Kept nice. Room had everyhting I needed. Sounds dumb but premium soaps and lotions in the room. Just dont waste your time eating at the grill there.
I ate there because it was easy with the two kids and being so cold out, BUT both nights we had dinner they messed up our orders. The service is bad, the food tastes cheap, "better off even at like a TGIF type place". Our breakfast exp was pretty bad. If I order pancakes for two children sitting kitty corner from each other across the table dont bring all of there food on 1 plate. What was that girl thinking. Two kids, Two plates DUH. I gave up and went to get my own coffee and get the kids drinks on my own because the girl didn't even have the sense to ask we we needed drinks even though I had a cast on my leg and couldn't really walk.
Too bad because it ruined an otherwise good hotel. I just will never eat there if I return. I travel to Ft. Collins often so we will see. Really though a guy with a cast and you are going to make him get his own drinks?????? The Pool was very clean and warm and I love the heated smoking gazebo just out the main back door. The manager was very polite.
Love the hotel for Ft. Collins. Hate the in hotel dinning.

Overall our stay was fine. We did find it difficult to move our luggage to the second floor without the use of an elevator. This location would be difficult for a handicapped/disabled individual unless you were assigned a first floor room. Our trip involved activities in the Cheyenne, WY area so there is no comment about area attractions or dining. [...]

Interesting mix of native American and middle eastern decor. Beautiful, airy lobby and breakfast area.
Hotel room was copiously clean, except when I had to look under the beds for a lost shoe. Not sure it's been vacuumed under there for some time. Bed skirt also needed washing.
Room was dark and in need of some updating. Smelled heavily of vanilla, but not annoyingly so. Breakfast offerings were various, but almost completely carbohydrate. Only proteins were cream cheese and peanut butter.
The staff was pleasant, but perhaps overworked and short-handed.
Frankly, I was pleased with the hotel until I looked under the bed.
The place could use some updating, but is acceptable for a short stay.

Traveled to spend time with friends and attend Independence Day activities. I thought it was a little pricier but probably related to local activities and the summer holiday. Very clean. Close to Interstate, but not too close. Dining and shopping easily accessible. And as expected, beds were very comfortable. Would stay again.

This hotel is a great value when staying in Fort Collins. I wouldn't want to do much more than have breakfast and scoot off, but for that, this place is just fine. My room was spacious and clean. Everything was in good working order. The only thing that I found lacking was the entertainment system. Unable to watch HBO or rent movies, if that's your thing. Did not check their internet access but I had not trouble using the computer in the lobby. Didn't get in the pool but it looked clean. Would definitely stay there again

Great overall experience, was able to check in early with no problems. Our room was just what we wanted. There was a birthday party in the pool area, which was fine in of itself, except that the partygoers took over every table and chair. The kids had balloons in the pool and the hottub. The staff did not monitor the pool area at all during the party.

Room was nice and bed/pillows was very, very comfortable. Too bad they don't have a free breakfast, but one is available. Location is very good if you want to be by newer southeast Fort Collins. I wanted to be closer to northwest, hence the lower score for that. But lots of great shopping near by if that is what you are looking for.

We were in town for a wedding, a friend recomended the Hilton. The rooms were great there was lots of room for our 6 m/o son to roll around. The beds were very comfortable. The room was really clean, the staff was really friendly (except the waiter) and the wall of windows was awesome. I would stay here again. The food wasn't the best, especially for the price.

Over-all, good. Little things that are very minor annoyances: Bathroom door that will not say where it's positioned (wants to swing partly open), sink drain plug that will not stay closed. Room door does not fit will. Picky, picky, I know, but it's minor details that separate relly good places from so-so places.

We wanted to get away even though we live nearby. The hotel had a nice small pool and hot tub.It was located within walking distance from our favorite restaurant so it was a real romantic overnight for Valentine's Day. It would have been a little better if the bathroom had a retractable clothes line for the wet bathing suits but other than that the room was comfortable and quiet.

VERY PLEASED WITH THIS ROOM AND HOTEL. We stayed 3 nights. Would definitely stay there again. Loved the room decor and the full kitchen. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a little market in lobby which is very convenient. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Beds were not as comfortable as I like but decent. Breakfast was good. More selection would have been nice but there were the basics: eggs, fruit, waffles, cereal, bagels, toast etc.

Overall, very good experience. The hotel is off the interstate but not very close to the main parts of Fort Collins. But the price was much more reasonable than the downtown hotels.
Our only issue was a missed wake up call. Fortunately that was a backup for our alarm clock so it didn't cause a problem, but the call never occurred. Pretty insignificant issue.

We were visiting CSU.Place was clean,tiny lobby,breakfast wasn't worth getting up for. 'Workout room' was a joke. Outdoor 'heated pool' was cold. Old TV no DVD player or Pay-per-view.

We stayed here on short notice because it was the cheapest option. The room was clean, but our nonsmoking room smelled strongly of cigarettes, it was noisy, and the bed was uncomfortable. I'd try somewhere else.

Motel looked alittle run down but fit in with the surroundings; right off Interstate 25, sort of an "industrial" part of town I imagine. Staff was dealing with an unhappy customer in the lobby when I arrived, but once it was my turn to check in, the staff was friendly, and except for a glitch in the credit card reader, check in was fine. Accomodations were clean, no-frills, and suited my needs. Close proximity to a well-known 24-hour restaurant was appreciated as I thought there was a continental breakfast when there was none.
