Enter and explore comfortable guest suites, breathtaking dining room, wonderful wedding and conference facilities, and panoramic views of Rocky Mountain National Park.
The other amenities include Laundry service coin operated, Lobby, Reception and Restaurant (seasonal).
Please note: The pool will not be re-opening in 2011.
A fixed amount of $100.00 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
Please note that the resort does not provide daily maid service

Could not adjust thermostat in room, was very warm, opened windows in January. No daily room service during slow period, but they said if we needed anything, just let them know. Would I stay here again, yes. View from room was fantastic

The location and Motel are beautiful. But the negative included that it was so hot in the room that we had to open the windows to sleep. We were told that there is no way to turn the head down further. Also, they allowed a wedding to continue past midnight, so loud that we chose to leave, end our reservations. Bless the travel agency, who had our stay refunded. Again though, the hotel is beautiful, we just were not allowed to use any of it, because the wedding party took use of everything. The lobby has 2 fireplaces, with real wood burning, very nice, we just could not sit at either.

Description
Rocky Mountain Park Inn is Estes Parks best summer and winter full service hotel with everything under one roof. We have recently added new 32 inch LCD TVs, carpeting and wall treatments in public areas, and an all new 10 person whirlpool. We are 100 percent nonsmoking and the only ISO 14001 environmentally friendly certified hotel in Estes Park. In 2004 we were the first lodging property in Colorado to receive the Gold Leadership Award from the CO Dept of Health and Environment and have received it each year since. Estes Park is home to Colorados largest elk herds that often frequent our property on their way down to Lake Estes and the local nine hole golf course. There is access to a four mile long concrete trail surrounding Lake Estes just across the street. Enjoy indoor climbing gyms, 4 movie screens, snow tubing, sledding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and plenty of wildlife in the winter. Summer brings scooter rentals, boat and bike rentals, as well as Jeep tours, mini golf or go carts, aerial tramway, hiking, fishing and rafting excursions. Rocky Mountain National Park is close by and offers Americas highest continually paved road, Trail Ridge Road, at over 12,000 feet.

We frequently visit Estes Park for short mini-vacations (hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park) and have found that the hotel offers some of the best quality lodging in the area. The key for best price is to book ahead on-line for a non-refundable price. A note: the hotel is no longer part of the Holiday Inn chain (as of early 2011) but an independently owned facility.

I give the Rocky mountain Inn 5 stars for 2 reasons.. Management is trying a new concept of checkout in the winter being 1PM. That is wonderful because they have the warmest pool we have ever been in that was heated. They keep it at 86 degrees, with a Jacuzzi near by, and a fitness room at the same location. All together, this makes the 1PM checkout a blessing, so for these 2 reasons, I give the Rocky Mountain Inn 5 stars.

The Travelodge Estes Park is a true Lodge Style property in a Beautiful Mountain Setting. The hotel offers a choice of Standard Rooms, Suites, and Deluxe Rooms with a Fireplace, or a Whirlpool. Guests enjoy Great Mountain Views, Free Deluxe Continental Breakfast, High Speed Wireless Internet In Some Rooms, Micro Fridge In Some Rooms, Heated Outdoor Pool, and a wonderful Picnic Area. This Hotel is the epitome of a great escape, Unique Hotel, Great Location at an unbeatable Value. Plan a trip to Estes Park, and make a reservation at the Travelodge.

The property is an older motor lodge, probably constructed in the 1950s. This family-run motel has had renovations, but still looks a bit tired. The room layout was somewhat odd, with tub and toilet in separate room in the corner and the sink and vanity next to the TV in the center of one wall. The grounds are reasonably well kept up and there are picnic tables and grills in the rear area. The continental breakfast was acceptable. The views of Rocky Mountain National Park were great out of the large rear window. The pool is a simple rectangle with a basketball court next to it. However, the hot tub was not working and I saw one of the hotel staff members attempting to simply rinse off the dirty filters. I thought to myself that they really need to be replacing those filter elements on a maintenance schedule in a commercial hot tub. In summary, a property that is being fixed up on a budget.

Small oddly set-up but clean and quiet. OK for single individual, but definately not fancy.
