The hotel could not be any more well situated in the San Juaquin Valley. Visalia is beautiful and the Lamp Liter Inn is so beautiful. Their gardens are amazing and very well maintained. The staff remembers who you are by name after meeting you once. The Inn is easy on, easy off to the main expressway (I-198). It is also about 2.5 miles from Sequoia N.P, and 3 hours from Yosemite N.P. Looking forward to returning and I will definately stay here again!

Check in was fast and easy. They didnt ask for un necessary info. Beautiful grounds. A clear blue pool, even in Feb. The rooms, and exterior well kept, no trash or unkept areas. All we needed was a clean room, coffee pot, and hot water, with a charming atmosphere. Very satisfied. They also have bungalows, 1 room with 2 beds, and front room living area if you want more than just a room. I will return to the Lamp Liter in Visalia soon. Good Value.

Was visiting family in nearby Exeter, so the hotel was well located. The quality of the rooms (bedding, decor and towels were very clean and enjoyable!!). The front desk staff was friendly, yet very professional. My only compliant was I couldn't locate the in-room dining menu one night - It wasn't in the hotel binder. I found it the following morning on the table by the window.
Loved how close the hotel is to main roads, as well as downtown restaurants and boutiques. Visalia is lovely!!! The Marriott was wonder!!

It was our wedding night so we stayed at a local, nice hotel prior to the honeymoon. Everything was fine but the room was next to a service elevator. Not too noisy though. Could not check out from the room (television). Had to check out at the front desk.

I was placed in a nice room on the second floor however it was facing a major highway and I could hear the traffic. The king bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. I would stay here again only if I could get a room not facing the highway.

HOliday Inn usual, the rooms just have a ok but old smell to them. Food was awful in cafe.. Not much around there and about a 5 mile drive to get to center. Staff were very friendly and courteous.

The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Check-in and check-out were painless. The location was walking distance to the convention center and the hospital. There were several good restaurants in the area within walking distance, however I wouldn't walk to them after dark because the streets aren't well lit in this area. The morning breakfast offered by the hotel was very disappointing because the warm plates didn't keep the food warm.

This is a budget motel in a good location, on main street Visalia. It's an ok place to stay for a night or two. It's not exactly "nice", but all I needed was a place to sleep and shower, and it fit that bill.

we were in town for medical appointments. the room was clean, but not all of the lighting worked. In the handicapped shower the showerhead was not designed to work with the wall bracket.

In general this was a nice experience in a comfortable a well equipped hotel.
Only disappointment was that during my booking I didn't pay close enough attention to differences between various room types offered at the same rate ... and to my dismay at check-in we were locked in the "smoking" room -)

all the staff were wonderful. The beds were so comfy we ended staying another night. the breakfast was really good and the coffee was hot and strong like i like even tho i didn't bring my trunks i stil put my feet in the indoor pool i loved the stay thank you

The hotel was conveniently located off of the freeway, making it easy to access everything in Visalia. As my trip was to se someone in the hospital, I wasn't in a position to explore the city, but the hotel was tidy, well kept, with a friendly staff. Quiet rooms, even though it was close to the highway. The only negative was that some of the rooms had an odd smell from the air conditioner/heater.
