The Hidden Oak Inn is a tastefully restored California Craftsman Bungalow built in 1914 by Ralph E. Murphy. This large two-story house has a high gabled roof and a front porch which is framed with Wisteria. The inn was originally a home for families and later a home for teachers and nurses during WWII. In the late 1940s the Episcopal Church which use to be next door purchased the home to use as a refectory. Then in 1984 the home was purchased by Jaques and Barbara Gasser to establish the Hidden Oak Bed and Breakfast. A delicious full breakfast is served on the weekends and an expanded Continental breakfast is served on weekdays both are served in the Dining Room or feel free to take a tray to your room. We are happy to accommodate your special dietary needs with advanced notice. The guestrooms are spacious and each is named for its lovely decor.
