we wanted to be near the boardwalk but not spend a lot on a motel; 5 minute walk, free parking and they let us park 3 hours prior to check in, VERY polite and friendly staff; clean and quiet room (Sunday night tho); beds a little stiff; quick mart next block; not much walkable around after hours but fine to drive; next morning ate at Santa Cruz Diner AWESOME - 10 minutes away; worth the $ we saved!

An easy walk to the Wharf, Boardwalk and Restaurant/Bar scene. Ten minutes to the Costco gas station. The front desk people couldn't have been more helpful.

Great location - Very Clean - Helpful Staff

Overall this place was very good. The check-in process was quick and efficient. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and we found they will go out of their way to help guests.
The room was very clean, and we were impressed with several things in the room. For example: an easy-clean remote/phone, a quality make-up remover, the usual amenities, etc. The decor/furniture in the room was also modern and appealing. Also, the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was good - cereal/toast/english muffins/pastries/fruit/OJ/AJ/Coffee. Basically, a continental breakfast.
There are 2 Super 8's on this street, pretty much across from each other. Make sure you book the correct one (Super 8 East). It's on the left side of the street (the street is one-way). Location is great, a few minutes to the beach, a few minutes to downtown.

Perfect location for beach access

The hotel staff were very nice. Early checkin was afforded. Room was small but very clean and ammenties were provided. The bed however was extremely uncomfortable as I could feel the springs coming through.

The hotel was a great value for the price! The staff was extremely friendly and it is a couple block from the beach. The hotel is also very close to the restaurants and shops on Pacific Avenue.
