My gf and I rarely have great nights of sleep when sharing a bed but the bed at the Moorpark was splendid. The sheets were very nice and felt good and the bed itself was quite firm. All in all I slept the whole night and so did she. Also, we adjusted the temperature in the room and there was no noisy unit kicking on and off the whole night that we noticed.

The room was simple but very nice. No complaints at all. The hallway, stairs, and outside seemed less nice but not bad. Breakfast was limited ("deluxe" hardly seems to apply), but did include waffles, along with bread to toast and French toast to be heated, cold cereal, bananas, and hard boiled eggs. Desk staff was available 24-7 and were polite and helpful. All in all a good place for the money. I would certainly stay here again.

The Hampton Inn was okay, as Hampton Inns go. Staff was friendly. Food in the freezer was old and stale in some cases. The free WiFi was somewhat slow in the rooms at the ends of the hotel. If you're there just to put your head on a pillow, then it's just fine.

I was in town for an interview, and being at this posh but peaceful hotel gave me the serenity to rest well the night before.
I also ordered room service, and found the food to be delivered very quickly and to be delicious. There is a yummy gourmet pizza place across the street and they came to my room to deliver.

With the current HWY 101 ramp construction access to the hotel was through another businesses lot and getting to the North on-ramp was difficult .

We picked this hotel based on price and proximity to the Reid-Hillview Airport. The hotel room was fairly nice, and the complementary breakfast the next morning was good.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit in our room was loud, and could not be turned off or unplugged. It kept turning on every few minutes and interrupting our sleep. After a few hours of this, we called the front desk for help. The man could not figure out how to turn it off either, but offered to give us another room. We had to carry all of our stuff to a new room, on another floor, at 2 AM, without any help from the staff or a cart to use, which was incredibly frustrating. However, the new room's AC unit did not have the same problem and we eventually got a few hours of sleep.
Bring earplugs.

Stayed here for a week with my husband. Even though it was great location (close to his parents), the bed was unbearably uncomfortable making the one week holiday stay not so restful. My husband frequently complained about the small pillows.
We're not ones to request room service often, and they were quite adamant about getting into our room to clean. One day, I told the cleaning service that I didn't want service three times and to top it off... after the last "no" the manager called to confirm. It was quite annoying.
Other than that, it was an average stay and I will not stay there again only because it felt old to me (the furniture) and its entry is via exterior door which makes it louder and to me more unsafe.

Horrible experience! I thought other reviewers were just being nit-picky. WRONG!
Coffee maker did not have a coffee pot - when called the front desk, was told they all got stolen. Squished bug stuck on wall - been there for a while. We requested a smoking room, which it was, but there were no ashtrays. When we called the front desk, they said they'd see if they could find one. A little while later, he showed up with a paper cup and said to put water in it for an ashtray! Believe it or not, it happened! Air conditioning was broke - several people had their doors open, or were outside trying to cool off. We wanted to open the tiny window in the room, but of course there was no screen. Had a small refridgerator, of course, it was broken. Wanted to take a long soak in the tub, put no plug for the drain. There was old, cracked caulking around the tub, in several areas it had turned black. This is just a few examples of this "fine" establishment (sarcasm).
You're a fool if you say here!

the place looks clean for a motel..there's just wasn't enough soap in the room. no shampoo at all..the shower needs more space as well. good enough stay for a night overall
