The light colored wood in the front is older and different from the rest of the room. The new furniture and set up was nice but the sink area was old. I noticed the coffee straws were not in plastic bags so who knows how long they have been left out. The shower area was not wiped as clean and the refridgerator is very old.
Other than that everything was fine. The pool area is pretty, and the receptionist was friendly. This place has great potential, but an use a bit more work.

Nothing special. Had two bath towels, but they only left one hand towel and one wash cloth. The high speed internet was decidedly low speed.

Great - for a hotel!

I stayed three nights at the Sheraton Fairplex while I was in Pomona for the California PE Exams. It was extremely conveniently located adjacent to the testing location, so I figured it would be worth the extra money. I was happily surprised with the size and comfort of the room - so I felt like I wasn't just paying for the location, I was actually getting a pretty nice place to stay.
The only negative I had with the hotel room was that there was a Prom being held my last night here, and several girls had rented out the room across from mine as a "staging area" of sorts, so I was kept awake until well after midnight immediately before having to get up at 4 AM to catch my plane home.
Also, it would have been nice if the internet were included as part of the room rate, but the rooms were nice enough that I didn't mind it so much.

The front desk service was incredible, to the point where a friend that happened to be with me commented on it, asking if they knew me from before.My only disappointment, was that they told me that they wouldn't grant SPG points [...] I've never encountered this in any of my other stays with the SPG line [...]

Great hotel great price really friendly staff . I stood here because it wasn't too far away from the fox theater.it was really cool waking up and going out side only to see the band I went to see the night before hanging out side. The only thing that would make this hotel better would be a bar.

The room was nice and clean, we had our own personal patio which was very nice once it cooled down, and the pool area was well kept. A nice place to stay for a weekend if you want some seclusion and peace and quiet.

The hotel is good for the price. They provide breakfast every day, which is nice since there aren't any restaurants nearby. Would not recommend food at hotel for lunch or dinner.

The room was clean and neat. There was no remote control for the tv but the front desk remedied the problem right away. The location was in a quiet neighborhood, and I was able to get rest. Which I loved most about the trip.

The room are small not clean no shampoo no conditioner no hair dryer no iron you have to go to the office to get in iron and u have to leave you're ID lol super old TV i only i don't recommend to anyone

The Shilo Inn Is a Great Value, Close to everthing, easy in and out, ample parking, rooms are very comfortable, quiet, and large, I could'nt ask for anything more. My only complaint, is the shower did'nt function properly, I had to play with it to get it working right, but once I got it working it was fine. Everything else was Excellent, and I will stay there again, Great Staff, very Helpful Thanks for a Great Night Stay.

We had a spacious room that was clean. A minimal continental breakfast was included. Not the best part of town, but for the money, good value. One problem was that they did not have our reservation when we arrived.
