It was affordable, clean and well kept. This was on the lower price range and my expectations were not high. With that in mind it met my needs just fine. Rooms were not well insulated and neighbors noise was heard, water running was heard, and the bar up the street could be heard late Saturday night. Beds were a bit hard. Water pressure in the shower was amazing! It could knock you over. Shower time was cut in half. Pool and hot tub were fine.

This was my wifes 40th birthday weekend. We stayed at Marquis Villas last year and wanted to return there again. The room size and proximity to downtown are great. We did ask to switch rooms once we checked in because when we had stayed there before we got a renovated room, this time we were not given one and the room was much smaller than the room last year. The management was more than happy to help us. We got a renovated room and the larger one we had before. We do look forward to another return trip.

A great drive to Palm Springs and was really made to feel welcome at the Ace by the friendly staff : )
Great room and very relaxed easy going atmosphere and lots of good music playing.
Went to the bar that evening and a great bartender made fantastic drinks and helped us plan our few days of hiking and gave us recommendations for places to eat!
There is a $20 a day resort fee on top that you have to pay for parking , pool , gym etc but well worth it and the facilities are really great even a ping-pong table!!!!
Go off-peak and relax or go at the weekend and party its your choice!

Ace Hotel and Swim Club in Palm Springs is a hip and swank getaway in the desert. Great party scene at the pool, and the funky, vintage decor throughout the grounds added greatly to the experience. Rooms were small but comfortable. The restaurant had excellent food and service. The free bicycle rentals were a great amenity.
A few nits. The locks and doors didn't work smoothly and the staff failed to tell us that we had complimentary beverages outside of our door when we checked in. So these went to waste. But overall, the staff was friendly and I'd enthusiastically recommend the Ace Hotel and Swim Club to friends and family.

Other than a brief uncomfortable encounter in regards to our correct check out date, everything was fine. We had to go spend time at the office clearing up the situation. The staff handled the situation professionally, so we can get back to the FUN!

My wife and I stayed for a week. We enjoyed the pool, hottub, cabanas, WiFi, and friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was fairly limited but okay. The bathroom towels were pretty rough, but the "luxurious" beach towels were fine. They have bikes for free rent, which would have been nice if we had time.

Location is outstanding, right in the middle of all that is Palm Springs. Only negative was valet staff was NOT on the ball. Called for my car and when I went down 20 min. later, they had not retrieved it from the garage. Took another 15 min. of waiting. When we returned from dinner, no valet person out front. I had to leave my keys at the front desk and hope that they would park my car. Hotel did take valet costs ($20 a day) off my bill, but still anoying.

The Adriatic Villa is a quaint hotel. The rooms in particular are very "quaint." When I opened the door I was not expecting such a small living area; however, there is a small kitchen with a bathroom attached to the room. In contrast to the living area the bedroom is quite sizable with it an en suite bathroom. Another pleasurably feature is that both rooms have french doors that open for easy access to the outside.
The decor of the rooms and the buildings are dated plus it seems like the building plans that were approved were imprecise because one half of the building is lower. The amenities were also mediocre. There were two pools, which was a nice thought, but one was unheated. The only reason the unheated pool was at all acceptable was because it was over 100 degrees and the icy cold pool became a haven from the heat. More reason too be annoyed stemmed from the ice machine, there was only one ice machine.
All in all the place is probably what you would expect before you go there: mediocrity in extremely hot weather.

We booked this hotel after reading some reviews, but were still a bit nervous prior to arrival. It is always this way when traveling and staying at an unknown destination. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the style and cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was friendly and responsive. Rooms were well equipped and comfortable, the pool was relaxing. We enjoyed our stay.
Only two negatives:
Our room bumped up against the elevator, and the elevator noise up until 10PM was a bit loud. Will now this for next time.
The service at the pool was VERY slow...

Great deal for a gals get away weekend. The room was more than we expected and we all loved the comfy beds. The only negative was the self parking situation. When the self parking lot became full we were directed to the valet lot but that was also full, so we spent several long minutes figuring out that we needed to use a lot next to the hotel.

Fun stay, hotel needs renovation

We had a really great time, but were a bit disappointed by the maintenance of the Viceroy.
Pluses:
Staff was great
Hotel was a very social atmosphered
Minuses:
Lots of little maintenance issues that were hard to overlook, such as stains on all the towels, missing hardware in the rooms, decor in need of updating, etc.
Overall a perfectly nice stay, but we weren't WOWed as we have been at other Viceroys.

Very relaxing atmosphere, great food and service. Felt like a european hotel. Short walk to downtown Palm Springs. Only disappointment--left my special pillow with unique pillow case, in the room, and called shortly after check out and it was never "found"???

Decent hotel, close to downtown

This is a very average hotel exactly a half mile from downtown. Reasonable walking distance. Nothing extraordinary. The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful, but overall a very average experience. The pool is between two buildings, so it doesn't get a lot of sun, so we didn't use it.

We arrived on our 22nd Anniversary, Lobby was being worked on, so we had to go to an alternate Office space, not quite together yet. The shuttle could have been available more often, but it wasn't. The air conditioner was a bit noisy, but we got used to it. The desk personnel were very nice. The room was clean and confortable.

I stayed at the Parker 4 days. The grounds are lush desert landscape, dirt pathways to the the rooms are quite confusing at first. My room was conveniently located near one if their saltwater pools and jacuzzi, which I enjoyed each evening. The bed was super comfortable. Decor Eclectic and chic. Breakfast was over the top, huge portions. Mr Parker restaurant neatly hidden behind brown velvet drapes.. expensive and just so-so. Beautiful italian marble bar in the lobby. Friendly helpful staff.

Enjoyed the hotel. Service was very good and the grounds were very nice. I suggest they update there media (no digital tv, no radio's in room, no electronic docking devices, etc.). Other than that a pleasant experience.
