Three times a success. The first two room were dark, small and needed some remodeling. The Bay is not in the best location. There was a bar nearby and the all-night music and laughter hummed until 4 in the morning. We changed room twice more until we were given a lovely room. "Ask for what you want."
My husband and I ate most our meals at the Restaurant and boy, did we have some great food!
The weather was overcast in September, so we weren't able to enjoy the pool. The hot tub was wonderful.

Pros: The Room is very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. As other reviewers said, there is no noise from the Airport which is across the street. The patio is very helpful to get fresh air. My kids had great time to watch the taking-off flights. I stayed 4 nights here and the room was always clean. Just 20 mins drive to DisneyLand. While checking out we left some stuff in the room and the hotel staff was very professional and returned our call and send all of them by FedEx. We pay the FedEx charge. I am happy about the professionalism.
Area of Improvement: Not all rooms have microwaves and refrigerators. You need to ask for it. Also the hotel does not have two queen beds, rather we have provided with twin beds. It is better they specify the room amenities clearly while we are booking the room. This will help to avoid last minute surprises.

we booked this hotel because it was the best value between good reviews from users and price, and we were NOT disappointed. It may not be super high end luxury penthouse sort of stuff, but for the price of a 'valu' type place you get an absolutely fabulous stay. And getting discounts on the valet and food through this site made it even better. Bed was comfy, room was nice, staff were awesome. We didn't try any of the hotels other amenities as we were spending most of our time with family, but I"m sure they were nice. Overall, good stay!

Pros: Easy to find, hotel staff were very nice & professional, room was clean and it seemed a bit "fancy", more so than what I was expecting for $119 ([...]). Cons: $18 to park for the 13 hours that we were there seemed a bit much. My boyfriend and I were disapointed at how far it was from the beach. It was a 45 min bike ride, or a 20 min drive down to the beach.

Newly remodeled rooms. Very courteous staff. Nice exercise room and pool and spa were great. I would stay here again. Centrally located to Newport beaches and Disneyland.
Buffet style breakfast is overpriced. Go somewhere else for breakfast

I booked a delex room but once we were showed the room it was run down old. I upgraded to a ocean view room well worth it. The only thing I found a problem was out bathroom where we shower there was a window everyone passing could see you taking a shower from chest up. the price was alittle high for the size of the room.

Nice place -- very good location, nice pool area and friendly staff. I was a little annoyed that they charge $18/night for parking (you can avoid the charge by parking on the street on the wknds) and they charge for internet access too. In my opinion, that's just chincy.

The Best Western Newport Beach is not in the fancy hotel area of Newport Beach, but the location is excellent. It appears to have been renovated recently.
My room was large, the bed comfortable, and the furnishings nice. There is a refrigerator, and a common room on the main level with a microwave and stuff, which is very convenient. Internet access was free and dependable. Parking free. Staff very friendly and helpful. Best part: Walk across the street to Newport Beach! The front desk has towels and beach chairs to loan free of charge. I liked the Big Belly Deli about 1 block north.
I found this hotel to be an excellent value, comfortable and great location.

Weekend Getaway!!!

It was the Perfect Weekend!! Once I arrived the staff was Eager to Great me, My room was Ready at the time given and was Perfectly clean! Not to mention the bed was Super Comfortable which is a Huge Plus when I'm not sleeping in my own bed!!
The pool side service was Impecable!! They make a Skinny Margaritta and a Killer Quesadilla!!
I would definitely stay again!

room wasn't ready when we checked in at 4PM but it was a busy holiday weekend, besides that the hotel was great. Great pool, jacuzzi and property. Location was great too. Drinks at the pool a bit pricey but overall super happy with the stay.
