Not bad, pretty average place to stay. It's easy to get to, can't quite see the ocean from the hotel but it's not far away.
The room itself was small, but nice and clean.
The wifi was the worst thing about my stay here. At first it didn't work at all, from anywhere, and there were a few of us in the lobby to let the front desk guy know. He seemed a little overwhelmed with all the people checking in. Eventually he reset the router and it worked, sort of. Unfortunately, coverage isn't good enough to work in my room.
The breakfast is standard continental breakfast fare, nothing to write home about but not bad either.

we stayed two nights in a room with two divided bedrooms and a large bathroom. We have 3 adults and one child so the room was comfortable. Room amenities were good with refrigerator, microwave and free wi-fi, though the TV was old. Breakfast is better than I expected with cereal, toast and pastry, coffee, milk and juice. No pool or fitness room but all we need is a cleanroom to sleep so for what we got it was a great value.

Had advanced reservations and was immediately put in the farthest back of the motel near a street and had to ask to be moved to another room. Breakfast area was small and packed with people. Parking lot is very cramped for space. Rooms were very clean. Bed and pillow were very comfortable. Start button on microwave did not work, but minute, instant cook setting worked.

We stayed at the Deanza for 2 nights, just expecting a regular, nothing special hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was a big corner room, nice big windows, desk, sofa bed, tv, fridge, microwave. Huge bathroom. The continentel breakfast was a nice plus, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, even eggs and sausage to make egg muffins. Very nice and comfortable for 2 people. We requested a late check-out the morning we were supposed to leave due to the time change and they didn't have a problem with it even at last minute.I would definitely recommend the Deanza.

A great location for all points around the Monterey Area.
The breakfast was the usual Cereal, Rolls Coffee & Juice. We ate in our room a couple of times due to limited seating in the breakfast area.
The room was very quiet except when the room above flushed the toilet.
The room was our home for a week and was overall very nice.
