The hotel was nice, clean, the only issue I had was I could hear water from other bathrooms running in the walls at night or early morning and that woke me up many times early.

The staff was very helpful in placing me in the room of my choice which was spacious and laid out nicely. Tthe hotel is located within a couple of miles of numerous dining and shopping opportunities. I stay here every time I go to Fresno.

This room was what we expected. It was clean and comfortable. We had one issue when the shower head did not work. The front desk person wanted to argue about having it repaired. I persisted and got it repaired. All else was fine.

I needed a place to stay that was clean, comfortable and safe. Even though this place is older, it was a wonderful place to stay. I felt safe and the room was very large and clean. The ground were well maintained and I was pleasantly surprised! The bar and restaurant were classy. My stay included a continental breakfast which was the perfect light breakfast I needed. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. I will definitely stay here again if the occasion arises.

The hotel is older, with a remodel. It's in downtown Fresno, very quiet, but not near stores or restaurants. It was clean with only the basics.

The guy at the desk was friendly and helpful. The room was decent, but was pretty average. The location was great, though. Literally a block away from City Hall, the Regional Medical Center, and all the other Civic Center locations.

It is far from any restaurant and so if you are hungry in the evening you will have to settle with the chips and soup they have in their store

This hotel is at a great location, has plenty of parking, and lots of spacious/comfortable rooms. I love that there is a kitchen in the suite (2 stove burners, 1 full refrigerator, plates/cups/cooking utensil/eating utensils included, but no oven). The separate living areas are very comfortable with flat screen TVs in both rooms, a ceiling fan in the bedroom, and a pull out sofa in the living room.
The breakfast included with our room was beyond our expectations. For breakfast, the following was available: eggs, potatoes, sausages, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, toast, bagels, orange juice, apple juice, and coffee.
The staff were friendly during check-in and check-out. We called the front desk a few times for a few things and they were friendly and responsive.
We will definitely be back soon!

Good Hotel, Sketchy Location

The hotel itself was very clean and nice. It sits beside/above a casino with homeless people begging in front of it. The incompetent receptionist when I checked in told me I could walk to Full Circle Brewery. Turned out it was a 2 mile walk through the worst part of town after dark. Run down buildings, people squatting in them, what looked like crack dens. Thanks for the advice. The Brewery was great though - just cab it. The staff is probably not all bad; I dealt with only one person.

The rooms are newly decorated with comfortable mattresses and bed linens, however the outside noise level is very loud from large underground parking garage vent fans just across the street from this hotel. Also, the rooms are too cold and there is no way to regulate the thermostat, a maintenance person had to use a ladder and manually turn the unit off for individual rooms.

The hotel was wonderful the only complaint I have is that the bathtub could use a good cleaning. There was mold growing in the cracks of the shower walls.

There were strange noises coming from the bathroom which I didn't like. And the view from my window was of the neighboring hotel which wasn't good. Also, the ironing board was on its last legs and should have been thrown away. Aside from that I thought it was very clean, and I liked the room. I especially liked the wall that separated the sitting area from the sleeping area.

I usually have a hard time sleeping at hotels / motels but this place had me pleasantly surprised. My legs usually cramp for some reason after a stay at any place but I awoke without discomfort and rested. The room was clean and the television was a decent size (the only negative was slight as some channels were a bit "fuzzy" but not too "fuzzy"). I really liked the bathroom because it was large and had a more than adequate bath / shower. Plus the hostess was pleasant and charming, without seeming too attentive, if that makes sense. Defintely will come back here at this price.

Room #304 was pretty much disgusting, but I guess that's what you get for $58 out the door. Bathroom shower had greasy footprints, greasy hand prints on doors, drinking glasses not cleaned, Magnavox tube tv was very blurry, and bed was hard as a rock. Amazingly, this motel has no ice machine. It's hot in Fresno in August. Staff was friendly enough but had to tell him twice i wasn't interested in giving them my email address.
Tip: Pay an extra $15-$20 and stay somewhere else.

good location and clean accomodation

We visited friends in Fresno. Both of us are California State University, Fresno. The location is excellent, close to restaurants and shopping centers. Unfortunately, it was too cold to visit Yosemite or Sequoia National Parks.
Next year, we hope to visit the parks.

It was good. But the location is an issue. Its not the best part of the town. Lots of bums and hookers around!! Not fit for a family hotel.

When taxi driver picked me up he asked why I had picked this location? He informed me that it was a bad location, drugs, prostitutes, etc. He was wrong! I never saw any of those things. It was a great place, near the freeway for easy access. My grandson was with me and he and I had a great time in the pool. We had it all to ourselves.

Clean, convenient, and a nice staff!

The hotel had everything we needed to make our one night stay as comfortable as possible. The staff was very nice, cookies at the front desk, clean and spacious rooms with good temperature control, and a decent hot breakfast in the morning. Slept thru the night without any sound issues. The surrounding area was safe with tons of parking. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Fresno!

Very nice hotel! Clean rooms and a friendly staff. We picked this hotel because we could pick the exact room we wanted but because someone decided to stay an extra day, we didn't get what we had reserved. Although we didn't like this, the hotel was a great place to stay and was only 1-1/2 hours from Yosemite National Park entrance (the reason for our stay.)

Good hotel close to 99 Freeway

There was nothing remarkable about this hotel, but it was above average in almost every area. Clean, everything worked, nice staff, spacious room, good bed, free breakfast, and close to the 99 Freeway. Fit the bill perfectly for a quick overnight stay.

Stayed here while in town for a wedding. The staff was very friendly! It's in a good area of town, I lived there for over 20 yrs so I know that's not a bad location at all. Only complaint would be that the walls are kind of thin, also the room key would stop working every day. other than that everything was great the room was very nice for the price. we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying there again on our next visit.

Came down from Hume Lake and needed an overnight place to catch a flight.Staff were helpful, place was fine, not a lot of places to walk to and wouldn't advise it at night!

Convient, clean and wonderful staff. The breakfast was a little slim but with the limited available space it was acceptable. Again desk clerk was very nice. She gave me directions to places of interest to me. She was friendly and very helpful.

Comfort Suites is near the Savemart Center, Fresno State University, Bulldog Stadium, Riverpark Shopping Mall, Buchanan and other Clovis playing fields, St. Agnes Hospital and Kaiser Permanente. Chuckchansi Gold Casino is only 30 minutes from the hotel and Table Mountain is 20 minuts away. Hotel is convenient to freeway 41 and highway 99. Pool is not heated June-Septemeber. All Comfort Suites are smoke free.

The Comfort Suites Fresno was comfortable with a small sitting area couch and desk with chair and internet access. It is conveniently located within a short and easy driving distance to a shopping center, Costco, several restaurants, and Medical facilities. In addition it is easy to locate and get to off of the 41 Freeway.

I read a few bad reviews about the hotel so I was a little nervous staying there, but my experience overall was decent. Great price for the room, bed was a little hard but everything worked. Nothing special good place to stay for only a night or two. Ac has a motion sensor which is kind of a pain but other and breakfast ins't much so do expect to eat there. Staff was very friendly and took care of any issues right away.

The entrance isn't on the street that it was addressed to. Behind other businessess. While overall the beds were comfortable, one of them needed to be changed out, it was U shaped.
There was a club that played music very loud until early morning.
Close to resturants and entertainment. Not too far from family. Freeway access left a little to be desired. When Granddaughter and Great Granddaughter came to visit on our last day, we had a little problem, my fault, because I didn't ask if I could pour oj for the little one-I offered to pay for it.

Kinda Sad, Really

The "continental breakfast" was below standard. The hallway doors to the outside were open at all times, causing cold drafts to blow through the corridors (not to mention the security issues). The bed was excellent; the rest of the room was like a throwback to the 1990s. One end of an old towel bar remained in the shower -- a slip in the tub could have caused a nasty laceration. There are plenty of other hotels on Blackstone (Fresno's main drag); I'd choose any of them over this one next time.
