The reviews here made me a bit nervous ... from saying that the neighborhood was nasty and the staff were rude and the place was a dump. Didn't find any of these to be true. Place was clean and well taken care of. Neighborhood wasn't were I'd vacation but as a homebase hotel it was fine. The staff were friendly and helpful. This isn't a 5-star hotel so there were little things that weren't perfect ... TV remote batteries held in with tape :) For the price when I come back to LA I will re-book here.

Stayed there while attending wedding. Location was good. Older hotel but room was clean, staff was very nice and great that we had 2 sinks and free WiFi in our room. Convenient to wedding location and local mall.
