Needed a room near the airport for flying out of the next day. The room was clean, smelled nice, and had some updates. About time to cank the wallpaper border in the room, however. We had everything we needed including a nice continental breakfast and two nearby restaurants to walk to. Easy check in and check out. We were worried about booking on line and the hotel being in a questionable neighborhood. Our experience was that the hotel is in a good area and approx. a mile from the airport. All around comfortable experience.

We were visiting family in Tucson and stayed at the Days Inn. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The free continental breakfast was limited in choices but nice. The pool and spa looked inviting and clean but it was a little too chilly outside for us to enjoy. The only down side of our stay was that the front desk would only issue us one key for the room.

I arrived early hoping I could check in and then head out to the race track. They hurried up a room for me, and then I was one my way hours before the listed check in time. For me, that was big!

Great for a guy but not for a girl

Just one night, just passing through. The little kitchen is fine, but the bed was more like a camp bunk. It reminded me of a college dorm, but it didn't bother me.
On the other hand, the wife was not impressed. She didn't like the bed. She was also creeped by the some of other guests who looked like long-term residents, or homeless guys that found an unlocked room. Across the street the plasma donor zombies were wandering around and few of them can spook a gal. Nobody bothered us, but if you're a lady it might not be comfortable.

We checked in & were greeted by a very helpful lady at the front desk. The room was pretty clean, and a nice size. This was good as we had our siberian husky with us for the weekend.

I stayed for one week and liked it. The room was large and clean and quiet. Breakfast was only toast or corn flakes, but a McDonalds was across the street. WIFI did not work.

I have read reviews about this hotel that were not to favorable. I have also lived in Tucson and stayed in many of the hotels. First it is one of only a few that have shuttle service the room was very large, heated pool and jacuzzi, internet was fine the staff nice and helpful. Breakfast a bit skimpy and it is out of the way from just about everything. That would be my only complaint. I found nothing to complain about because at the rates and service offered it is the best deal in town.

It was a good hotel for a quick overnight stay and the price was way well worth it. As well you get continental breakfast for free and very close to the airport. The wireless is pretty fast and the stay was nice. I would def recommend and there is a shuttle to the airport.

We had a very nice stay here at the Clarion. Room was large and had wifi (not real fast) and the usual amenities.Never heard any airport noises at all so we were pleasantly surprised. We had a very nice breakfast of scrambled eggs and sausage. They also had waffles, cereals, toast and juices. Would definately recommend.

We liked it. Staff was pretty good considering they had a convention in town. Had read reviews that the restaurant was good, I'd say it was okay, passable. They advertise the free internet but I couldn't get connected, as others had also said. Also, we had requested two double beds, we were two women traveling together and had to take a single queen bed room. Had already paid nonrefundable fee so I'd think long and hard about whether I'd do that again. Were there for the Gem show so we were really happy with the location.

The room was comfortable and the staff was very efficient. We enjoyed the restaurant, where the service was excellent and food prepared well.
Being just a few miles from the airport, yet far enough to avoid the noise level, was nice.
A couple of small complaints - no refrigerator, hotplate or microwave in the rooms. And, due to the restaurant, there is no continental breakfast included. Since we couldn't store any food, we were forced to go out to eat. Not a deal breaker, but something we consider when staying at a hotel.
For the price, it was adequate. But for less we could have gotten a room with a kitchenette and continental breakfast included. For comfort and services it was very good though.

The Hampton Inn Tucson-Airport, Tucson, Arizona was my first time staying there. I was the best experience I've had in a very long time at any hotel. The employees were great, very friendly and polite. We had an issue with the air-conditioning not working and the front desk clerk immediately solved the problem by moving us to a new room. The bed was extremely comfortable.The room was very clean and offered everything we needed to make our one night stay pleasurable. I will highly recommend Hampton Inn to family and friends and I will try to make Hampton Inn my first choice in hotels whenever my family and I travel.

The room is big and confortable, and the staff is very helpful. I traveled to NY and I left my car, when I came back my car could not start due to the battery, and the staff helped me to start my vehicle again. The hotel looks almost new and the price seems good to me. For sure I will come back.

We have stayed at nearly every hotel near Tucson International Airport. So far, this has been our favorite. It is relatively new, clean, and quiet. We stayed the night of Christmas Eve and to our surprise, there was a continental breakfast and a cook prepared to take orders the next morning. The staff was extremely friendly, even for having to work on Christmas day.
I liked that there was a walk-in shower instead of a tub. My husband really enjoyed the massaging shower head and I was happy that they actually provided a shower cap, which seems to be a small luxury that is disappearing from most hotels these days.
The only issue I could see as a problem is the AC unit, which was very loud. We only used it to cool down the room after taking hot showers, but I was still surprised at how loud it was. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. I know it will now be our first choice in the future.

We stayed in a large hotel in Tucson for my husband's business, then at this hotel the night before our flight. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful! There were cold bottles of water and cookies at the front desk as we checked in from our hiking! Even the breakfast was good and the nice lady putting out the food was fun to talk to. Slept great. Clean rooms. We would stay here again...

We were staying for one overnight to get to the airport early. I did not like that they photocopied my ID. If I had been more alert when we arrived (late) I would have said no. The room is pre-paid. Why do they need to photo copy my ID? Everything you do anymore, and they want to copy your ID. What's going on? This is not the United States. I don't know what it is, but this is not a free country.

Requested a non smoking room and was placed right next door to a smoking room where the guest smoked outside and the smell came through my room door.
The hotel did apologize for that inconvenience and stated would look into the placements of non smoking and smoking rooms.

ALthough very close to the airport, I did not hear any jets from our second floor room. The entire property was immaculate and staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was pretty good. I have no complaints at all about this property and would certainly stay here again, as I visit this area several times each year.

Reserved a King and got 2 Queens, also no vending machine's, all they had was a market at the front desk.

Nice motel in troubled area

The motel was very clean and comfortable. But we learned that there is gang activity in the area. Several cars had been stolen out of the parking lot at night during the past month.
