Went to a graduation. Hotel was just a few blocks away from the location of the ceremony and just around the corner from the restaurant we had our celebration dinner. Our Grandson enjoyed the pool at the hotel and we all were very happy with the hot breakfast. Great place, perfect location, will go there again.

This hotel was a wonderful value for the money. The room was roomy, clean and well supplied. The pool and amenities were well cared for. The free breakfast was more than sufficient. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is no restaurant in the facility but there are many to choose from in the area. The hotel is within a short drive of U of A. They really live up to their philosophy of customer satisfaction! I joined the frequent visitor club before I left because I know I will go back.

Fantastic location with La Encantada mall and various restaurants in walking distance: Acacia across Skyline Drive from hotel; Firebirds (our best Delmonico steak in Tucson) at La Encantada mall - across Skyline Drive and Campbell from the hotel; Hacienda del Sol is about 3 miles from the hotel - we enjoyed a great dinner and lunch there.
Saguaro National Park is worth driving 20 miles southeast from the hotel to see.
Daily made-to-order breakfast done with freshest ingredients and never disappointing. Evening 5:30 to 7:30 PM drinks, wine and snacks for guests also very enjoyable.
Underutilized exercise room with elliptical running machines, treadmills, a bike and weights - spotlessly clean - everthing well-mainained and in like-new condition.
Hotel staff: very friendly and helpful.
Will definitely stay here again.

We rented three rooms for our family to celebrate my wife's birthday. The suites were very large and accommodating, two were connecting and they gave us three next to one another which made it very nice
Sunday brunch was excellent. Great service by the staff too.

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the Medical Center. We stayed at a hotel next door the previous week for almost 50% more than the Comfort Inn price. Should have gone to the Comfort Inn to begin with. We found the room comfortable, clean and with all the amenities you could want ... frig, microwave, iron, ironing board, etc. Not for those looking for a "spa" experience, or outgoing staff. But, an OK place for the money.

The place was clean, nice little patio in front, charming old-fashioned decorated Spanish tiled bathroom. Hand-painted headboard. Amenities and room were not particularly special otherwise, but the grounds were gorgeous! We enjoyed watching the the quail run around. Also very nice restaurant next door and Continental breakfast in the hotel next to the restaurant.

Good place to sleep

Colorado Girl
- Aug 1, 2011
Had a late check in which was handy and very easy. The woman at the desk was very friendly and made some nice conversation. I got up to my room and found out the toilet wouldn't flush unless I used a plunger for at least two minutes. The wifi was also down during my entire trip, which was not helpful. Certain things were close and other things were quite a ways away. I went to spend time with my boyfriend and it took probably ten minutes at least to get anywhere near where he was from the hotel. Over all, it was a great place to sleep and shower.

We were happy with the location. The staff was nice. The breakfast was sorely lacking and we ended up eating breakfast at IHOP daily, which is right next door.
The room next to ours housed someone who had the TV on all night, high volume. I had a terrible nights sleep. I complained the next morning, being too tired to call the front desk during the night. The next night, the same person had the TV on high volume again and by 11 PM I called the desk and they took care of the problem.

The staff was very friendly, but the walls were very thin, I had to deal with a couple fighting in the room next to me for 2 days.
The hotel bar was nice, but I really didn't have a chance to take advantage of much else.

No sleep in Tucson
- Feb 14, 2010
I went for a business meeting with a client. My client was staying at a location that made this hotel convenient. The hotel had allowed part of the gem and jewelry show to be held in the parking lot, so there was not enough parking.
There were ropes used to mark lanes and parking, but it was poorly lit and hard to navigate.
Once I was parked, someone else was allowed to parallel park behind my nose-in parking, making it impossible to get out. The security guard who was supposed to be present was not around.
The room was noisy. I could hear someone sneezing next door and although I turned my heater off, I could hear others turning on and off all night.
The next morning, I left the room at 8 a.m. and didn't return until 4 p.m. The room had not been made up. I phoned downstairs and they said the hotel had been full. I asked that it be cleaned when I leave, around 5 p.m. that day. They said it couldn't be done. They did bring me another washcloth.
When I told the staff about it the next morning when I check out, the reply was a bored and mechanical, "I'm so sorry, we'll send someone up right away." I reminded him I was checking out. They also refused to give me a receipt, telling me I could use my credit card receipt.
I won't be coming back.

The hotel has some issues with things not exactly wrong, but not great. The room was clean but there were stains on the carpet, lights didn't always work and the kick plate on the door kept falling off. The beds although comfortable, made noise whenever you moved.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and our stay was pleasant.

Small rooms, but has what's necessary
-

- Jan 26, 2012
The room was small, but had a fridge and a microwave. Bed was soft. Location is good. We did much of our sightseeing on that end of town. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as other retailers for forgotten items and touristy needs.
The biggest trouble was that the place was redoing their landscaping (starting loudly at 7AM. (Gravel shoveled into metal wheel barrows and a loud crew.) There was also a carpenter redoing the cabinets in the breakfast area well into the evenings. Of course, these things won't last forever, but it was certainly inconvenient.

The hotel room was clean and it was quiet. The breakfast was great, considering I only thought it would be a cold continental breakfast. We had scrambled eggs, sausage and toast along with bagels, muffins, juice, tea and coffee. The price was very minimal since we were only there for a few hours and the location was nice! The only thing that was a little disappointing was the pool & spa were not in service but the staff said we could use the services at a nearby gym if we wanted. So the staff were trying hard to make things nice for us....overall a nice experience!

We spent a week at the Omni Tucson National Resort and really enjoyed the desert setting. Our room was a casita which was like a little house, very comfortable and peaceful away from the hotel area.
I found both the golf courses were in excellent shape and were very challenging. After golf we had drinks and appetizers at the Legends Bar & Grill and watched the sunsets.
Every one of the staff we met were very friendly and helpful making our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again.

- since this was a bungalow I was not aware of where I could get ice close or if I had to go to the main building. it wasn't noticeably convenient so I did not check

The accomodations made us feel like we were taken away to an adobe paradise. Big comfortable bed, huge thick towels, nice shower, docking station for my music and an unbeatable view of city lights. They even left a light on and had the A.C. going for our arrival.
The Grill can hold it's own with any 5 star restaraunt.
