Fabulous weekend

Had a wonderful mother-daughter weekend here. The staff was the friendliest and most helpful I have seen. The room was great, however my mattress felt like it was ready to be replaced-had body imprints on both sides. The spa was wonderful although I was surprised to see how dirty the stair carpeting was-the rest of the place was immaculate. Great hiking trails nearby. Some things were a bit expensive ie $13 for in room wifi, $13 margaritas however I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Totally Disappointing Experience

  • Dissatisfied Tom
  • Jun 21, 2009
The room was very small. The air conditioner was barely working. Above all, the bed was set on a board, causing great discomfort. Beyond these problems, I was not given credit for the second night's stay. Our daughter had a medical emergency in Phoenix, so we had to leave a day early. When I asked that the second day's charge be wiped away, I was given contradictory messages by [...], the inn's owner, and Orbitz. The policies were not consistent. I can elaborate if necessary. Orbitz realized that their policy would have required a $25 penalty only, not a full night's pay, but they refused to enforce their own policy. I will never use Orbitz again, and will tell every person I know the truth about them.
