Nice place; missing some attention

The Windemere is an older Hotel that has pluses and minuses. On the plus side, the landscaping is lush and tropical poolside and around the units. It did not feel like dry desert Mesa at all. The pool was unique and large with a jacuzzi; great to hang out at and great for the kids. Rooms were very good, having been updated with nicer furniture and comfortable beds. Though an older hotel, no complaints.
What was missing was wifi for rooms which is hard to believe for a conference center. We were also in a room next to their conference center where a wedding reception ran well into the night and the room was not soundproof. Definitely make sure to request a room away from that area.
Since no decent restaurants are in the immediate area, highly recommend the 10 minute drive south on Higley to Rancho de Tia Rosa. Best food ever! It made our stay well beyond what it would have been otherwise.

This hotel has a huge empty lot behind it, so was nice and quiet! Lovely conference center and great people to help! Breakfast is basically all carbs, but enjoyed the hot tea!

This was my second time staying here. Although it isn't a fancy place, I chose to stay here because it's cheap, quiet, and includes breakfast. The building is older but the rooms were clean.

We had to be in Mesa for a funeral across the street from AGR...we stayed at this resort a few years ago, but we had a suite with a balcony on the golf course...would make sure it was a suite instead of a room...only there 2 nights so o.k...but the suites were much nicer.

Stay was very nice -- great location for what we were doing (visiting friends). Nice pool and hot tub, good service, beautiful, big bathroom. Next time would go for the larger room, rather than the standard double in order to get a comfortable place to sit and read or talk.

We had no problem with the hotel other than the fact that our room was very close to the McDonald's drive-thru ordering speaker. If we had not had the AC on at all times we probably would have known what a lot of people were having for lunch and dinner. The motel was better than I expected for the money.

Great friendly front check in staff! Room was very clean. A little problem with the AC unit but it was -low 70's in Phoenix so no big deal. Grounds were clean and quiet even though fully booked. Will stay there again next time to the valley. Thank you!

For some odd reason, the hotel is stocked with alarm clocks that cant be set to an alarm. But they do have a wake-up call system. Otherwise the hotel is tidy and a good value.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The staff was very friendly and the room was kept very clean. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The bed was comfy and clean. The only problems were the walls were paper thin, and while the resturant was good, the breakfast bar is not worth the price. The starbucks inside the lobby needs to have longer hours. Overall, we would stay again.

I was there for simply relaxing and hanging out in the Phoenix area and this hotel definitely made the trip what I wanted. The interior was very nice, clean and all of the staff was VERY nice and helpful. The room was always clean, and very roomy and they met any of extra requests. The food at the restaurant was tasty as well, which was nice when I didn't want to leave the hotel. The only thing I would say about this hotel was that the bed felt a little hard to me, but I think that is a matter of personal preference.

This was a one-night staycation with my wife, a night away from our kids we hadn't had in a very long time. The staff was great, the hotel accomodations were pretty good as well although besides breakfast we pretty much stayed in the room.

Hotel was clean, staff good, just as expected at this chain. Breakfast lady was a bit slow refilling items on the breakfast bar - had to finally go ask when it'll be refilled, but overall this was a good stay. Kids were thrilled with the pool. Happy kids made parents happy.

I have stayed at many hotels in my life and was very impressed with the design and cleanliness of this motel.
It is a great value for the money. I booked the room through ORBITZ and was very pleased with the room that I got. I went here after leaving a Best Western in Mesa, AZ because they would not work with me on the price.
If you appreciate good workmanship and craftmanship, there is something about this particular hotel that will catch your eye. I won't spoil the surprise by telling you here.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone else and will definitely stay there again.

We spend the night due to visiting family for a birthday party. Stay was quiet, easy access to the room eventhough they warned of rwecent remodeling. Room was perfect size, with refrigerator, iron that is not attached to the wall or a bracket. Breakfast was warm, good selection, great coffee. Check-out was quick. Stay was very restfull.

We got there late (after 11 pm) and had to leave early to catch flight. Really wish we would have had more time to enjoy everything the hotel had to offer! Hopefully next trip we will be able to spend alot more time relaxing!!

This newly renovated motel has comfortable and spacious rooms. The whole facility was clean and attractive. Can't beat the hot breakfast with newspapers provided to keep up on the news. Will definitely use this facility again when returning for another visit to the area.

We have stayed here a number of times and always found it to be very clean, staffed with exceptionally pleasant people and love the warm pool and new patio furniture. The guest rooms are nice sized and the beds are very comfortable. The microwave and fridge is handy when staying any length of time. The morning breakfast is very good. We have found that the upper rooms are much more quiet than the main level. The hotel is only a block away from Wal-Mart for anything you may have forgotten at home. We definately will be returning here!

Several very noisy contractors who were working on the building were a nuisance until 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. There also seemed to be some low flying aircraft noise.

the sheets, bathroom and furniture were clean but well worn. the floor was filthy, not don't take your socks off dirty but wear shoes at all times filthy. overall ok for a single guy saving cash for a night or two but not a place to take a family or lady.

Did a quick search on Android for an unplanned stop in Mesa found Knights Inn for 1/3rd the price of any other motel in the area. After a 10 + day motel trip it was time to cut back on expenses. The staff was friendly, didn't quibble about the low price and even suggested if I were to stay a couple of extra days to book the additional days on line - cheaper. Room was clean, small, but had good TV reception and definitely felt the need to lock the car and keep room door barred. Best part it is close to Old Town with it's ecclectic shops, walkways, and many statues lining the streets. Over all saved me a ton of money compared to other hotels in area. Good value.

amenities suck, no laundry service, if you have to wash you have to go down the street to some nasty coin opp laundry place. No snack machines,you have to buy the overpriced candy in the gift shop and after 10pm good luck, nothing in walking distance, dont bring you kids to this one. the wallpaper in some of the hallways is coming off like whole sheets. always food trays left in the hallway sometimes for a day. this places sucked for the price. oh and also thank god it wasnt july because the air cond. in the room didnt work.

We stayed here 6 years ago on our first night of marriage. We don't remember much about the hotel then. This stay was an anniversary night. I was hoping for a room similar to the last one, balcony, one large suite, etc. Like it really matters at the end of the day. We just really wanted a comfortable King bed, a cold room, fridge, and quiet. We got that.

In town for business and I've stayed at a few Hyatt Place hotels in other cities, so what the heck. It was conveniently located and when I arrived, the front desk clerk was helpful and friendly. The room was fine and the bed comfortable. I do wish they didn't have the loud "through the wall" AC units but at least they are controlled by a thermostat (on the wall) in this hotel.
