The room itself was clean. Nothing fancy just the plain run of the mill rooms. The WIFI did not work the entire time I wae there. I was assured by the staff that it would be fixed every day.

"Comfortable stay"

We had a great stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a choice of hot and cold breakfast. Close to other restaurants/bars and should have shuttle service. The only complaint I have is the curtains in the room did not close completely so the sunrise woke us up early other than that I would come back and stay there again.

The location of this hotel kind of tricked me. It is in the same parking lot as the holiday inn express. It's kind of easy at night to pop in the wrong entrance. So I looked up a rate for the holiday inn express online and decided to get a room there. But when I got there I checked in at this hotel instead. I argued with him for a second that the room rate was much lower online then the one stated online. (which was really the holiday inn express one.) So the clerk was like okay no problem, checked me in. My wife, 3 y/o daughter and I went up, and were pretty amazed at the size of the room or should I say rooms. Two big rooms with king beds. After weeks of sleeping cheek to cheek with the wife, I said I will take this one, you got that one. Ha ha. Very clean, very spacious, beds were very comfy and we both slept great. Got up on time to get that free breakfast. It was really good as well. lots to choose from. I am a picky person that embarrasses my wife when we travel, but I honestly had nothing but praise for this place. Even though it all happened by mistake!

My daughter and I stayed at SpringHill Suites on an overnight visit to AZ. The room itself was great. The only downgrades I can give it are that the tub/shower fixtures were not well sealed to the wall and the towels were scratchy.
The location is a bit of a problem. It sits back from West Bell Road between a shopping mall and some other roadside businesses. You have to look between a gas station and a furniture store to even see it. We drove past it every time we returned there. Some better signage would help.

Our hotel room was ready and clean upon arrival. It was well stocked with appropriate toiletries. The morning continental breakfast was a big plus.
It is a stone's throw to a nice mall. Every kind of eating establishment was within a mile radius.
The TV in the room needs to be replaced with a more modern flat screen wall mounted model.

I really loved the size and layout of the room. The flat screen TV rotates to be watched in the living room or bedroom area. Good size kitchen with dining area. The pool was a good size and was nice and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to go to this area.

This hotel was very clean, quiet, and had a very friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable! The room was much larger than I expected. The fitness room was awesome. Next time we go to Phoenix, we will stay at this hotel.

Great place to stay

This was our second year to stay here. We come to Glendale for White Sox Spring Training. The Thunderbird Inn is located on a college campus, so it is nicely set back from the street, making it much quieter than many hotels. Parking is sometimes limited but we didn't have any problems this year. One of the nicest features is the computer/snack room. They set out coffee, tea, cold drinks, snacks, cereals and fruit. People come from all over the world for the college classes and people come for spring training. It is nice to chat with people over breakfast in the morning or have a snack at the end of the day, check e-mails and listen to others'adventures of the day. Quiet, clean and pleasant, we will be back next year.

The Thunderbird Inn was very nice and clean. Felt very safe to let my child and his friends play on the grass and roam around the Inn. I will come back for next year for spring training.

Room was small but we were onliy in it to shower and sleep. Appeared to be an old motel that was remodeled. Visiting family and the location worked out well. First night there was very loud arguing in the hallway but it didn't last too long. Room was nicely appointed. We would stay there again.

The hotel was lovely. Beatiful decor. Our room was huge and the bed and bedding were very comfortable. The only drawback of our king size bed & whirlpool room was that we didn't have a balcony. Would have been nice to open the doors in the early morning or late evening. Maid very friendly. Barstaff excellent - above and beyond - bought us a birthday & anniversary cake! Person on the day of checkout seemed stressed but overall still friendly.

The breakfasts were great with different choices each day! In addition, the manager did an internet search for me for quilt stores in the area, then printed out directions and contact information for each. That went far beyond what I expected.

I have nothing against Motel 6 but I usually choose to stay in a slightly more upscale place. If I had seen this place first, I probably would not have stayed there. It's definitely in need of some sprucing up, but for the price it was ok. The staff was friendly. It was quiet. It is easy to get to. The TV worked. The beds and bathroom were clean but the carpet badly needed replacing, the door to the room didn't fit well and many of the windows to neighboring units were broken or cracked. Overall it is shabby. But if you want a cheap place to stay - it's ok.

Arizona*s Antique Capital boasts more than 90 antique shops in the downtown area, all within walking distance of one another. Do not miss the trolley and the Caitlin Court Historic District. If you have a sweet tooth, then you will not want to miss Cerreta Candy Company. You can take a special guided tour of this family-owned hometown candy factory. They will show you how a sea of caramel becomes wrapped tempting taste treats. Learn how cream centers are enrobed in luscious chocolate. These tours are about 30 minutes long and are offered Monday through Friday. If you want to shop, eat or go to a movie, then do not miss arrowhead Towne Center. One of the newer malls in the greater Phoenix area, it is located in northern Glendale at 75th Avenue and Bell Road. For the sport lover you can take in a Phoenix Coyotes hockey game at the new arena, located at the Loop 101 and Glendale Avenue.
