Description
The Ramada at Arrowhead Mall is on the grounds of Arrowhead Mall and provides hotel services to the Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, and Sun City areas of metro Phoenix, Arizona. The hotel location also provides easy access to a host of restaurants and the famous Glendale, Arizona antique shops, as well as providing easy access to Luke AFB, Glendale Municipal Airport, and the Cricket Pavillion (formerly Blockbuster Desert Sky Pavillion).
Parking at the Ramada at Arrowhead Mall is free and plentiful, as is the deluxe continental breakfast that is provided to all guests. All hotel rooms have free wireless high speed internet access and have been recently redecorated with new beds, drapes, covers and feature the new Ramada Ginger Citrus bath amenities.

The room itself was clean. Nothing fancy just the plain run of the mill rooms. The WIFI did not work the entire time I wae there. I was assured by the staff that it would be fixed every day.

Hotel was fair. Nothing fancy. Could have more attention to details. Toilet and shower/tub had small leak and curtain wall reattached to wall multiple times and prior holes not patched.

This was our second year to stay here. We come to Glendale for White Sox Spring Training. The Thunderbird Inn is located on a college campus, so it is nicely set back from the street, making it much quieter than many hotels. Parking is sometimes limited but we didn't have any problems this year. One of the nicest features is the computer/snack room. They set out coffee, tea, cold drinks, snacks, cereals and fruit. People come from all over the world for the college classes and people come for spring training. It is nice to chat with people over breakfast in the morning or have a snack at the end of the day, check e-mails and listen to others'adventures of the day. Quiet, clean and pleasant, we will be back next year.

The Thunderbird Inn was very nice and clean. Felt very safe to let my child and his friends play on the grass and roam around the Inn. I will come back for next year for spring training.

The hotel was lovely. Beatiful decor. Our room was huge and the bed and bedding were very comfortable. The only drawback of our king size bed & whirlpool room was that we didn't have a balcony. Would have been nice to open the doors in the early morning or late evening. Maid very friendly. Barstaff excellent - above and beyond - bought us a birthday & anniversary cake! Person on the day of checkout seemed stressed but overall still friendly.
