I was only there for one night, and it was the best hotel I've stayed at thus far on my road trip. It was a large hotel, that was in a perfect location. The room was big, clean and nice. There was even a lounge downstairs. Really enjoyed my stay.

The Marriott rewards program is worthless. It seems you can never use the points. The only disapointment this trip was that the Restaurant in the hotel closes at 9pm.

1st day was good, nice hotel always clean. 8:30 this morning was in my underwear when the door was opened by housekeeping, no knock or annoncement.
3 -4 minutes later was called and asked who i was as the room was not to be occupied. I told the lady at the desk she personally checked me in and was given the rooom i was staying in. Later around 10:30 took some baggage to the car and spoke to a blonde nice lady, housekeeper.. she asked if i was checking out, I told her we would at noon , my wife was dressing. She came back at 11 or so knocked on the door and asked my wife if we were leaving??????? So not a good experience, my wife and i met in ft smith once a month as i work in memphis but our home is in oklahoma.

The room was clean and bed-bug free! The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast spread was great. The pool was enticing but it hadn't been inspected yet, so we couldn't swim. The WiFi was terrible at best, however, which accounts for a lower score. Overall, we were comfortable and would probably stay there again.

I was there for 2 nights on business. I had a problem with the deadbolt not working properly and they had it fixed before I got back from my meeting. Very good service and breakfast was great!! Rooms were clean and pleasant.

I stayed at the hotel because Delta cancelled my afternoon flight. [...] There was a resturant approximately 1/4 mile away and breakfast was provided by the hotel. It was very quiet, comfortable, and the hotel shuttle me to the airport very early the next morning to catch my flight.

Do not rely on google to find this hotel! Staff could not take our current location and get us to the hotel, but did provide generic directions we were able to follow.
Rooms were very nice, good kitchen suite, nice bed & bathroom.

Candlewood Suites a good buy

We stayed at Candlewood for a family wedding. It was a good buy. The room was clean and spacious and we loved the convenience store and kitchen. Parking was good also. Great location. A little wild with some kids and families attending a ball tournament - but I would stay there again.

Upon arriving, I asked the staff to show us several rooms. They were all the same size, small. The bathroom was very small with barely any room to manuver into the shower/bathtub. The shower/bathtub was crimmy with soap scum that had not been cleaned in a very long time. The ammenties, as in the full complimentary breakfast, was poor to say the least. The eggs were definately made from powder, the bacon was rubbery and the saugage was spongy in texture. Yuck.... Obviously the food was brought in and not even prepared on site as there is no kitchen. By the way, the staff said to me they are know for their great breakfast!! The price was way, way too high for the rooms. I was expecting a lot more for our money. The only nice thing that I can say is the beds were comfortable. By the way, I did lift the mattress to check for bed bugs. Did not see any, thank goodness!!!

The deco was from the 1970's. Room had a smell, and I accedently stepped on a roach in the bathroom. The old white towels were yellowed with age and use, but clean. Bad TV reception and remote, and the beadspread had several burn holes in it. The best feature was the hot water in the shower, but I was left somebodys half used little bottle of shampoo from a different hotel to use.

The motel was cheaper than others in the same area, but does not offer free wifi. Wifi for 24 hours is $2.99, which should be free.

We were 2 sisters traveling together & spent one night at Motel 6 in Ft. Smith, AR. The motel was easily accessed from I-540. The room was clean, if small. One bed was completely blocking the air conditioner & had to be moved for the room to cool. There was a large gap between the door & the door facing, large enough to see through. There were large truck & farm equipment in the parking lot that made parking difficult. Some of the residents were outside our door most of the night, drinking, smashing bottles, talking loud, laughing loud, smoking. With the gap at the side of the door, ALL of this came right into our room. Even with the locks & a chair wedged beneath the door knob, we both felt unsafe & barely slept at all. It was a very uncomfortable night & neither of us will ever stay there again.

When we arrived our room was not ready then we were given another room that had such a horrible smell it gave us both a migraine. Then the stff came up to our room said they did not smell anything but agreed to move us to another room that smelled just not as bad. The bathroom was not very clean and the only nice staff was the woman being trained to work at that location.

We needed to change rooms as the first one was very noisy from a fan running in the wall.
The bathroom is very old--the tub especially!!
There was virtually nothing healthy on the so called continental breakfast bar.
The young lady at the desk was really the only good thing about the stay.

The bathtub was not very clean. It needed repairs. some of the tiles were peeling off in the bathtub. The room had a smoke odor.
The staff were very friendly, the location was good. The motel needed to be spruced up. It looked very old.

Hotel was very seedy, Hard to imagine that it had a major hotel name attached to the hotel. It is not far from the wrecking ball.
