Sunswept Condominiums is a low density condominium complex centrally located directly on the beach in Orange Beach, AL. Two elevators service the eight floors of this concrete high-rise. From your private balcony, enjoy the beautiful view of sunrises and sunsets, the large pool, the white sand beach, and the emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Children can play in the grassy area adjacent to the pool, while their parents lounge by the pool. Just across the street are two shopping centers, containing a variety of stores and restaurants. Venture out and golf at seven local golf courses, go parasailing, join dolphin cruises, rent a wave runner, charter a deep sea fishing trip, walk or bike the many miles of trails through the Gulf State Park wilderness area, fish in the gulf from the state park fishing pier, watch The Blue Angels practice at the Naval Aviation Museum, visit the Gulf Coast Zoo, or explore the civil war fortification at Ft. Morgan. Minimum age required at check-in is 25. Cleaning and linen fees are- one bedroom USD 75.00, two bedrooms USD 95.00, and three bedrooms USD 115.00, plus applicable taxes. Processing fee is USD 35.00, one time. Damage waiver is USD 25.00, one time and non-refundable. Parking pass is USD 15.00 per car, one time fee. Check-in time is after 3 pm on the day of arrival. This is a beach front property so you expect a little wear & tear...Overall though it's OK...
But as a Hilton...average is not expected...the halls need a make-over color wise and maybe the painted wood panneling needs to go...The room carpet seems new...but UGLY as to color and design...
The front desk clerk's personal issues with her boyfriend or husband on the phone could have ended a little sooner while I waited to check out...
Even the fact that they 'comped' my breakfast check charged to my room since they couldn't find it...
didn't really overcome the average hotel feeling...

Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, location was great! Was convenient to beach and to shopping. The only thing that we missed was a mini fridge.

Not impressed with hotel at all. Will never stay there again. Not enough things in the room such as microwave, refrigerator, or sink. We were expecting a lot more than was offered.

The pools and access to the beach was great. Good and safe parking. Room needed some repairs like new blinds and cracks in the wall. Did have washer/dryer.

Orbitz did not tell us that when we checked in there would be an additional 150 fee collected. Orbitz did not include this cost in their price which made our condo seem like a good deal, which it wasn't. The private beach was nice but the condo rooms sucked.

The room was enormous. Great views from the balcony of the Gulf. It would have been a perfect weekend get away if we would have had access to any of the amenities. The hot tub, sauna, steam room were all of limits because of maintenance, repairs. It smelled so bad we couldn't use the pool either! It would have been nice to have been told ahead about the closing since this was one of the main reasons we picked this place. Very disappointing.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location couldn't have been better. I suggest paying the extra money for a gulf front balcony. It was well worth it! Also this hotel just opened in April 2011 so everything was new and fresh. You will not be disappointed!

Amenities were very good... Just wish they had a DVD in the room. Recommend the hotel to families or couples wanting to get away. The hot tub and pool were very nice. The location was great, quartz sandy beach and vacant lots on each side made it even more relaxing!

We loved the pool, and we had a fantastic 4th floor gulf-front room with a view of the beach. We enjoyed the pool-side bar, and the chairs provided by the hotel on the beach. We also indulged in the free breakfasts. Our room was great and had a refrigerator, "kitchen" sink, and microwave. We loved our balcony and bathroom as well. Our only things that could have been improved upon was the pool side bar could have offered a few more snacks (although the hot dog was delicious), and the beach-side chairs could have been a little less expensive (25 dollars per day).

The hotel was the smallest building among the condo's on the beach. At first we were hesitant because you could tell it was older then the other buildings, but once we checked in all hesitation was removed. The staff was great. Always smiling and made us aware they were there to make sure our time at the beach was enjoyable. Each morning we woke to a hot breakfast. Served something different each morning. The omelet morning was our favorite along with the warm cinamon rolls. We will definitely stay here on our next visit!

The condo was beautiful and big and had all the amenities that we wanted and then some. The staff were friendly and very accomadating. We had access to the beach,pool,indoor and outdoor and the convience of a hot tub and grill on our balcony.Area
is very kid friendly and restful for adults. We absolutely loved our time there.

We enjoyed our stay at the Palm Beach Resort. It was so relaxing! We didn't want to leave. All of the balconies overlook the ocean and they have two heated pools. Great place and it was quiet and serene!

The condo we stayed in was fine, the experience with Sugar Sands Realty is another experience all together. They asked for a $200 deposit, which is not a deposit at all. It is a way to cleverly disguise several fees they are not up front about until you are wanting to get your deposit back. $79 for a cleaning fee a $44 for a damage protection fee (isn't this the purpose of a deposit. These people are deceptive in their business practice and will probably say I should have torn through their website to find all these fees. OR they could have actually told me their were fees when I made a purchase. Will be reporting to the better business bureau. Using these people is a mistake!

The condo that we stayed in at Tradewinds was just big enough for me and my husband. It was a 2 bedroom 2 bath, but it slept 6. If there had been 6 people in that unit they'd been busting out at the seams! It was really tiny, but like I said it was big enough for the 2 of us. As far as easy access to restraunts it was perfect. There are 2 just across the street and with a small in either direction to any of the others that may be your favorite.
