I've attended a conference held in downtown Montgomery. Decent hotels in downtown area were all booked up. The conference offered a hotel with a discount, but it was still $129/night which was over my budget. This motel is not too far away from downtown, very cheap, a typical motel, but met my basic needs. For a person, couple, or familiy who just need a place to rest, sleep, grab a very simple breakfast, and leave, this motel will meet your needs. A microwave and refrigerator were in the room.

I stayed for four days and I was satisfied overall. When I stayed the first night, I was not too comfortable with the linens on my bed, as I'm very particular and found small things like a couple of eyelashes on my comforter but they immediately changed the linens. The bed was comfortable, the bed linens were high quality, and the decor of the room was beautiful. The wifi came in handy and there was microwave and fridge in the room. I also liked the friendliness of the staff.

this was an ok place. kinda scary looking at night and our room was right next to the street so it was hard for me to get some rest. also you can hear every single person opening and closing their car doors. even though it looked kinda scary almost everyone there were families of 4 or more, with young and older children so it made it seem alot more safe, knowing that your not the only family there. breakfast was ok but laquinta doesnt usually have great breakfast. as a one nighter it was alright.

This hotel was call something else prior to Ramada buying it. However, it appears that Ramada has not bother to upgrade this hotel to its normal standards. The hotel actually steals it WI-FI from a neighboring hotel. The lobby is the only place you would consider to be a least 3 star. This hotel is not modern and has not been upgraded in a while.

This hotel is located across the street from a busy truck stop. When I arrived there with my wife and two year old daughter, two women of questionable employment were in the middle of an arguement with a hotel worker. We decided to stay somewhere else. I am surprised and disturbed that this hotel is listed on the website and recommended.

We were travelling for the holidays with an 8 month old, and stopped here for the evening. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was substantially better than typical hotel breakfasts.

Everything was fine except for breakfast. At 6:30 am, biscuits and gravy were cold. Buns were warm but frozen on the inside. A little out of the way for Maxwell AFB. Staff was very professional and helpful at all times. Great cookies in the evening.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites wasn't quite what we were expecting. It was difficult to see the road to the entrance in the dark. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The hallways had a smoking smell and the room air conditioner had a difficult time keeping the room at a constant temperature.

Just an overnight stop on our way to Orlando, FL. One of the two reasons we stopped there was that it had a pool (the other being that it was cheap) and all the boys wanted to do was swim once we got to the hotel, but once we got there, we were told that the pool was closed due to a broken ladder, though it looked fine to us.

The rooms were acceptable for a nights stay. Though an older motel it was clean. Could use some updating. TVs in rooms were very outdated - not black & white outdated but not the best picture. Front desk personnel was helpful with directions.

The carpet was filthy and it also had a hole in it. The refridgerator was unclean. I went to the office and reported this when I arrived and the person at the desk stated that they do not shampoo carpet but it had been vacuumed which wasn't good enough for me. I asked her to send someone up to re-clean the room and she said she would but no one came. I cleaned the fridge and cabinets myself but I will never stay there again. I have stayed in many hotels and they have all been clean.

Big surprise in rural Montgomery

I was very impressed with this hotel. My room was very large and so nicely laid out. The bed was extremely comfortable. I was visiting friends who lived down the road and convenience was perfect for me. It was not luxurious but I had a very relaxing time there and got two good nights' sleep.

The hotel was in a good location for what I was going out of town for. It had a nice whirlpool but was over crowded. The breakfast was ridiculous. It was not a complimentary breakfast and they didn't have a price posted, and they charged you $11 plus tax for breakfast and was not that good. On previous trips the breakfast has always been complimentary.

The hotel staff were nice. The room we stayed in was really nice and clean. The view from the balcony was centered around the pool area. Nice and quiet, great amenities.Check-in and check-out was fast and quick! I would definitely stay here again.

Value Place is an extended-stay hotel. Our rates are priced for a minimum one week stay, and are not adjusted to a daily rate if the stay is less than one week. When your stay goes into the next week, another weekly rate is charged. However, even though many people decide to stay with us for months, many guests staying less than one week find us less expensive than traditional hotels. Room fees and a 100.00 USD refundable deposit are due at time of arrival. The 100.00 USD deposit is charged upon move in even if the room is placed on a credit card hold. Deposit is refunded at move out pending no damages or owed charges. Front desk hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM, Saturday 10AM-2PM and closed Sunday. After hours move-in must call extension 500 and the security guard will be paged to assist guests. Enjoy your stay in a clean, safe, and economical environment.

Nice staff, but some people stay there a week or two, they have no entertainment fitness center, breakfast bar, pool area, if you wanted to sit at the hotel you would be bored out of your mind, I even had to take out my own trash, the maid services act like it was her toilet paper when I ask for a roll, had to ask for fresh towels. The BEDS hard it felt like the matress was choking my back, the hallways stinks there is a smell I don't Lysol would make better! And win my trip ended sooner than my expected travel plans they wouldn't refund my money by a day!!!

Our experiance was awesome. Rooms were great and the staff was even better. The people at the front desk were so polite. We had a room that overlooked the roof we asked to have to room switched to a more ariel view and they actually upgraded us from a queen room to a king sleeper suite just so we were happy. The hot tub was excellant and everyone there greeted us with smiles, even the help. I didnt walk by anyone that worked there without a hello and a smile. Very impressed and super satisfied.

We were driving through and only stopped overnight. Hotel is new and was clean and nice. Address given by Orbitz was incorrect and we have difficulty locating it. It was somewhat "out of the way" for a pass through visit.

The location was not exactly the safest place in town. The room could have been alot cleaner. The bed was not very comfortable either. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were in Montgomery for a family wedding. We were very pleased with all the accomadations this hotel had to offer. We received that "southern hospitality" from all the hotel staff. The hotel was in a nice location with many shopping & dining options. Highly recommended. I would definitly stay at this property again :)

Been to this hotel twice, both times for holidays to visit family close by, this is an excellent hotel with friendly and helpful people. Even though it was the holidays and they were working, you couldn't ask for a more friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is fairly new so that helps as well. Breakfast was very good as well. A+

I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Rooms were spacious and well tended. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for the money.
