Near airport, Nice Sauna, Good not great

Hotel is great for 2 reasons. It is 2 miturs fro the train to the Luton airport and to London and it has a nice spa with pool, sauna, steam room, and gym. The rooms are fine but have stayed in a single, a double and a superior (or whatever its called) room. The superior is great but the other types of rooms are cramped and mine had scuff marks on the walls and bubbles or water damage on the wallpaper. Overall nothing to get too concerned about but for the price it was surprising. It is also right next to the Luton mall which is nice but the area outside becomes a little rowdy with people out drinking after about 9PM. The staff were my only slight concern. Because of my situation I had to add a few nights to my stay and they couldnt seem to understand what I was talking about before eventually getting it. Finally, I thought I had prepaid [...] as I always do but when I checked in they asked how I would be paying. When I asked them to make sure I hadnt already paid the woman didnt even look up and just repeated "how will you be paying" as if I was trying to con her or something. Anyway, we eventually got it figured out but felt a little helpless in the meantime with no one there willing to even discuss it with me. Overall, I liked it but if you are just staying for the airport, wont be using the spa, and dont mind just taking a taxi to your flight rather than the train (not that bug of a price difference) there are probably better options but dont be scared, its a nice place.

Lovely Rooms, Difficult to Find

We stayed for 3 nights at the Holiday Inn while we attended the Sonisphere Music Festival at Knebworth. We got a great rate of £110 for 3 nights room only. Breakfast was £10pp each day which we thought was expensive. The Premier Inn down the road did fully cooked breakfast for £7.25pp but we needed to keep costs down so we took cereal and UHT milk with us. Tea, coffee, TV in room. Standard holiday inn. Large comfortable bed and even with loud parties on when we returned at 1am on Sunday morning, we couldn't hear the noise in our room.[...]We thought initially we were in a bad location for Knebworth as there is no easy direct route across from the M1 to A1 but the country roads were very direct and quite quick, if a little narrow in places.

This was fantastic value for the room we received. Staff are very good here, it was quite far from the airport compared to other options but we thought on balance that it was worth it.

Staff at hotel was wonderful. Room had been recently remodeled and was excellent. Very close to Luton airport. Internet not working during my stay but hopefully will for you Would stay here again.

I was visiting my son and future daughter-in-low, students in Luton. The hotel is very well placed, close to center, transportation, etc. Room was small but cozy, very clean and comfortable. No noise, very good privacy, very polite and helpful staff. I stayed for a week and I will return.

This hotel has been totally refurbished in 2007 and has been transformed into an excellent standard throughout. It represents a very good value for the high quality offered. Free car parking.(0308AB) This is a modern low rise building with a large car park to the rear. The hotel is situated just off the M1 junction 11 on the main access road to Luton Airport, two miles from Luton Town Centre and Luton Parkway Railway Station. Taxi fare to Luton Airport approximately GBP6.00 each way.

The staff were all very pleasant and I enjoyed my stay.The only annoying problem was everytime I arrived back to the hotel room with many bags in my hand the room keep would not work and I had to keep going downstairs to activate the card.This happened even when I kept the card in a seperate compartment in my hand bag.So it was nowhere near my mobile phone.

From M1 exit at Junction 11, take signs to Luton town centre, the hotel is located on the right side of the dual carriageway, next to the Murco Petrol Station.There is car parking at the rear and front of the hotel.
Reception is on the first floor.

Good place for short stay

We stayed for a short time, Plane came in late cought a cab to the hotel and just stayed the night, It is close to a hospital so sirens are constantly going. Not a bad place for the money, good place to lay down for the night.
