What travelers to West End - Covent Garden are saying

What a great city London is! We took advantage of many of the great museums that London had to offer: the National Gallery, International War Museum, British Museum, British Library, and Natural History Museum were all great and free (requested an optional donation). We also enjoyed several places with admission fees: Buckingham Palace state rooms, Churchill War Rooms, the Tower of London, and Westminster Abbey were all amazing sights to see. We took a day trip that we booked on Orbitz when we purchased our airfare and hotel package. We went to Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge and it was amazing. Our guide was great. We also went to a play at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. I'm not a huge Shakespeare fan, but my wife was in theatre and enjoys his work. We also went to the original Hard Rock Café. It's pretty easy to get used to the tube (subway) so getting to different sights is convenient. If you have a chance to go to London, do it. I wish we could have stayed longer!

London is one of my most favorite places I have ever been to. The history, the culture, the people...its all fascinating to me. I absolutely enjoyed every minute I was there. I wish it wasn't quite as expensive as it was but coming from NYC I'm used to higher prices. I would go back here in a heartbeat. This is a city I could see myself living in and being extremely happy.

My favorite city. Taxi drivers are on the most part very nice and helpful. There were a few that went above and beyond to give us directions or advice. The tube staff were excellent and helped figuring out the machines. I highly advise going to a show/comedy. There are great places to eat all around. Take a ghost tour. Great way to learn about creepy stories.
