We had a great time spending five nights at Convenish. Location is great - it is located at a quiet street within walking distance to most happening places e.g. bond st, oxford, piccadilly, china town etc.....
Hotel staff are generally helpful. Room is clean and comfortable.
Will not hesitate to pick Cavendish for accomodation if we revisit London again in future.

We spent a wonderful three days in London based at the Cavendish hotel. This was a very convinient, well located and impeccable hotel witha a truly helpful and friendly staff. The icing on the cake for us was that the conscierge borrowed us umbrellas when an unexpected shower hit just when we were leaving for the theater. Thank you Cavendish, I will absolutely book again weather on business or leisure.

Great Location-Nice Hotel-Excellent Staff

So convenient! All the staff were so competent and polite, it made my 3-day stay a real pleasure. I felt so well looked after at the Park Lane. The concierges gave great advice on restaurants, tours--even church services. When I needed a reading light--someone was there with one within 10 minutes of my phone call. I couldn't ask for more attentive, interested service. Green Park tube station is just a 2 minute away, so's the start of the double-decker bus tour of London.

The hotel staff greeted us weary travelers with smiles and helped us out in every way... The room was even better than expected... service and staff took care of every request... From beginning to end... From greeting, to wake up call, to bringing us to the room, to handling the luggage, to lovely bath items, to turn-down service with fresh water, to excellent cleaning, to heated towels, to electrical converter, to EVERY DETAIL, ETC., this hotel exceeded our expectations and provided us a very nice stay. It could have been perfect
- Lilith B.
- Nov 25, 2012
This is a great hotel in a perfect location of London at surprisingly reasonable prices for London. I would have given raving reviews, but I had an incident that left bad aftertaste. As I was rushing out in frenzy, I left behind few items in one drawer. My girlfriend who lives in London called them up and went to retrieve the forgotten items the following day. When I got home, I discovered that the items that were new, in the original package, were missing. It was few sets of expensive underwear. Itās the concept that is ugly. Itās sad how one employee can give the hotel a bad name.
On the positive note, there were some exceptional employees, like Daniel at the front desk who checked me in. He took his times, even showed some rooms, introduced upgrade options. All and all, I would recommend it, but would suggest not to leave anything behind ;).

I have stayed at Flemings twice in the past year and would come again without hesitation. Flemings Mayfair is in a terrific location with easy access to central London sites and just two blocks from Green Park tube that is direct from Heathrow. The rooms are very clean and richly decorated but quite small with little room to do more than get around the bed. Even so, I'd highly recommend Flemings for terrific location, very helpful staff, and good value.

Fabulous location in Mayfair . . . and a great place to arrive at after landing at Heathrow. The reception staff is very well-trained and pleasant; the lobby is wood and stone that appears to have been a 1960's design very well maintained. The rooms are not large, but are ample; the bathrooms are modern and spotless. WiFi is free - and there really is no nickel-and-diming for other items. The hotel has several restaurants, although I only tried the breakfast room and the bar/restaurant. Breakfast is served, not a buffet, and the porridge, wheat toast, fruit and coffee were first rate. The menu at the lobby bar/restaurant was not extensive, but I particularly liked the Mediterranean vegetable sandwich on rough wheat bread: an excellent meal to have after a long flight, and light enough have without feeling stuffed and lethargic. The rooms are very well isolated acoustically, air conditioned, and the windows open as well. All in all, the Westbury is well run and well maintained, a great value near great shopping, Saville Row, and the best of the West End. I paid more than the cost of this room to stay in London over 20 years ago.

The hotel is first class and the restaurant was great- friendly people. We loved the location- central to everything. We walked every where. I would go back again but ask for a different room if we got the "study room" too narrow and no room.

Terrific hotel in a perfect location

We have stayed at the Chesterfield Mayfair several times, and it remains one of our firm favorites whenever we escape for a week in London. The hotel's management keeps high standards, and the staff is unfailingly helpful and kind, while the rooms are attractively decorated (yes, a bit small by US hotel standards, but not too scrunched up).
The location is quiet yet central, and is within easy walking distance of such necessities as Starbucks, Pret a Manger, the Green Park tube station, Piccadilly Circus and many outstanding restaurants. The Chesterfield's bathrooms appear to have been recently renovated, resulting in, amongst other attractive new fittings, a fabulous Australian drench showerhead with perfect water temperature and pressure. We felt very pampered under its welcome flow after long days of sightseeing and shopping.
The Chesterfield's restaurant was also superb, with outstanding food, service and wine selections. We have never had a bad meal there. The ground floor bar is also an appealing place for a drink, a bite or just a quick coffee.
We could not recommend this hotel more warmly for its price, calibre and neighborhood - you get what you pay for, and it's most worthwhile.

Very british.

The Beaumont is a comfortable and well-maintained property located on a quaint and quiet cul-de-sac in Knightsbridge. Although one can walk within moments to Harrod's, it is still set apart from the madness of the Brompton Road foot traffic. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant, efficient and accommodating...I have nothing but praise for everyone I encountered! The complimentary cream tea was a pleasant treat over which I relaxed most afternoons. Additionally, the hotel offered a complimentary bar in the guest sitting area that could be enjoyed between the hours of 3:00pm and 11:00pm. Bottles of mineral water were provided free of charge in the room and replenished each day. I would unequivocally recommend The Beaumont to anyone planning a trip to London!
