We stayed for a week and generally enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean and housekeeping staff was very prompt. We asked for an iron and by the time we kept the phone, it was delivered. Room size was ok, not very spacious.
Downside - We were made to pay the full charge at the check-out in spite of showing them the booking confirmation. The front-desk staff mentioned they never heard of nor received any payment. Surprisingly the hotel had our reservation when we checked in!
With additional proof, they promised a full refund. But it is the hassle of having to do the follow-up which is bothering me.

Rooms comfortable and pleasant rural location in the country, reasonable gym and pool facilities (at extra cost). Cheap Tickets rates provided good value though for the facilities offered. The buffet food was pretty basic - low quality, unimaginative, one evening the soup was inedible. Although we had a non-smoking room the corridor outside always smelt of cigarette smoke which got drawn into our room. Hotel gets very crowded with coach tours for the elderly, wedding receptions, conferences and other large group bookings.

A great warm welcome from the reception staff. Enjoyed my short stay. Fantastic location in the city centre with ampel parking. One negative very thin walls, noise from next room and people walking past did wake me during the night and early in the morning.

This hotel is acceptable but its decor is very tired and needs to be updated, I find charging £15 a night for internet very expensive and a rip off for a facility that should be free.
Staying at a weekend there are many wedding guests including children running around.
The elevators to the floors are very slow
I would go back due to its central location

Having stayed there only 2 weeks previously we were surprised to find that shower caps now don't seem to be provided! My wife was not impressed!!
The breakfast was up to it's usual good standard but we may have to rethink if they continue cost cuttin exercises and go to somewhere slighty cheaper.

Nice enough room,very clean. Toilet handle was hanging off and bits and bobs missing but friendly staff who were happy to help ordering taxis into town, as it is quite a walk! Cooked breakfast was rubbish, eggs dryer than dust and sausages were the cheapest nastiest ones but to be expected from cheap hotel. The continental breakfast was nice though. Over all alright night!

A reasonable budget hotel at a good price. It could do with slightly better soundproofing between floors.
Compact but quite comfortable.
Very friendly staff.
As with all motorway services hotels their location is not their best point for anything other than convenience.

The room size was very large and clean. We had to ask for the travel cot to be put in our room when we arrived. Room service was good but they did forget to bring us our breakfast and we had to chase them, when it arrived it was missing some of the items ordered. We were discounted £10 off our bill but were a little disappointed.

Clean, basic but noisy

I chose this hotel because it was close in and economical. It offered great access to the downtown as well as the Jewry Wall and Abbey Park, etc. The problem was the noise. The hotel is located close to the Royal Infirmary and a police station and all emergencies come by this hotel. Terrible location, from that point of view. I work in Times Square, NY, and this hotel had almost as many sirens as Times Square. In addition, there was no air conditioning, so the window was open, even worse.
I was given a handicapped access room, which is fine with me (I am not handicapped). It had weird bathtub faucets that were hard to operate. The toilet ran continuously if you didn’t shut it off right. Internet was extra, breakfast was extra and they did not have a UK/US plug adapter. They really should provide free Internet and they should have plug adapters. They knew nothing about the trains for the next leg of my trip, but I was able to get that info from the tourist center not too far away.
If I had known about the noise, I would have paid $30 a night more for a better location.

Use the M1 North or South and exit at Junction 20. Using M6 exit at junction 1 and follow the A426. When exiting off the M1 follow the signs for Lutterworth.
