a l'arrivé on se dit wouahhhhh c'est beau, pourquoi est ceque la note n'est pas trop élevé?
mais une fois dans la chambre on se rend compte que le menage laisse un peux a désiré, que le lit est vraiment mauvais, et que les tasses et la bouilloire fournie sont assez suspect.
sinon les chambres sont spacieuse et le personnel de lhotel assez courtois et avenant.
Le buffet a volonté le soir est quand a lui une vaste escroquerie, les plats sont peu nombreux et surtout on se croirais dans le flunch du coin en plus mauvais tout ca pour 13 pound, ce qui est exagéré

A comfortably appointed room and very courteous staff. A cozy location very convenient to Gatwick. Easy stroll into town to stretch your legs and grab a coffee. Breakfast was well prepared. Would definitely stay again.

The owners at this hotel would bend over backwards for you. The service was great.
Rooms are not large but for a night before or after you fly they are adequate.

Au niveau de la chambre : literie à remplacer (vous avez les ressorts du matelas qui vous rentrent dans le corps) ; bruit important à cause de l'autoroute voisine et de la mauvaise insonorisation du vitrage; le téléviseur n'offre que 5 chaînes anglaises ; salle de bains ok. Nettoyage moyen au niveau des parties communes. Espace piscine et fitness de très bon niveau (petit supplément de 2,5 £ mais l'espace est vraiment très agréable (sauna, piscine , jacuzi,...) Petit déjeuner standart. Parking gratuit. A noter que cet hôtel est difficile à trouver dans la ville.

I was so excited to stay at this hotel but my expectations were sadly misplaced. [...] check-in was O.K., but there was no real friendliness and absolutely no offer to help an older person with her luggage considering that the room was in another building and the way to it outside. While the room was super small, the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a hotel of this ranking.Parking was the worst issue. I carry a handicapped sticker but there wasn't a parking place to be found closer than approximately 1/4th of a mile from my room. I assumed this was because of functions but no, turns out people can park at this hotel and then go away for a holiday. Instead of having a car park at the back, people park wherever they want. Not once in 48 hours did the cars in the handicapped spaces move. When I spoke to the duty manager about this, he listened but offered no apology and no assurance that he would pass on the concerns to management.In addition, if you were rooming in the Britannia Lodge, you had to walk to the main hotel in order to use the internet (which, it was true, was free). The common spaces in the Lodge did not have internet available.I did not eat at the hotel but my cousin has and assured me that breakfast was excellent.

We checked into Ramada Gatwick for a day before our flight to Edinburgh. We had spent the previous couple of days in an "upscale" hotel in Surrey, Selsdon Park Hotel, for a wedding. Compared to that hotel, the Ramada was a breath of fresh air. Their restaurant is open late, their staff is friendly, and their room is large and roomy. They have all the basic amenities at a very, very reasonably price. There were lots of families staying there, and it certainly seemed like a family friendly place. The only downside is location, as the hotel is quite from London, and it is quite expensive to commute to if you are planning to spend 3-4 days visiting landmarks in the city center.
All in all, however, I unreservedly recommend this hotel to those travellers that are looking for a good deal.

We liked the hotel in general and found our room to be spacious and well appointed. It was way too HOT overnight and no way to regulate the heat. We found the restaurant very espensive ( our bill of 44pounds ($88) seemed excessive and didn't include drinks from the bar. However, the service was excellent and the staff very efficient and friendly. Also, the food very tasty. We ate in the bar the following night and were very disappointed in our meal and the service although the prices were more reasonable. Guess you get what you pay for!! We liked the health fitness center and the pool. the spa wasn't hot enough but the sauna was good. You have to take a cab to get anywhere from the hotel unless you take the shuttle bus from /to the airport which costs 6 pounds for 2. I presume most people just spend one night between flights so don't plan to go anywhere else. All in all we would recommend the hotel if just for one night between flights.

The hotel and the room is very clean and tidy.Transportation was perfect.
Internet was too expensive for someone who stays just an overnight to change flights.
Staff was very helpful, restaurant nice,good portions.
Lobby was too crowded sometimes.
All together I would choose the hotel again if i would have to transfer on LGW .

Late check in, so didn't try the food. Room small, but clean and modern. Very comfortable. Good price for Gatwick. Not far from airport. Three pounds for shuttle bus. Will stay there again. Only complaint was all the smokers around the front door (at 7am). Yuk!
