I was 100% disappointed of 5 star service advertised on web. I rank the Tamani Marina Hotel in Dubai as 3 star service. I had been charged 50% additionally for second person which was a shocking surprise. On top of that I could not stay for a few hours a day in my room due to excessive construction noise, see attached video.

The Tamani Marina Hotel is located on the Marina with lovely views of the bay or the city. Unfortunately, the rooms are not being kept as they have in the past. My family of four had to switch rooms because the first room had food on the carpet. The second room, which was on a non-smoking floor, had been used for smoking and the fire detectors covered with tinfoil. When this was mentioned to the head of maintanence he laughed uncomfortabley. The good aspects of this room are its space, location and the comfort of the beds. I would not stay here again unless I got a very good deal.

my wife and I enjoyed our 2 x night stay, efficient comfortable room, good food, friendly helpful staff, excellent location, walk to the Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, and Metro .... easy access to the Airport as well as old Dubai and new Dubai business centres, will stay there again.

Hotel is within walking distance to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, so in an excellent location. Booked a Club Room but the rooms are much smaller than other 5 star hotels in Dubai. Moved room twice due to noise problems, don't stay in a room below 8th floor if you are looking for a rest. Between the air conditioning units on one side and the English Bar on the other side of the hotel the noise levels are high so insist on a high room. Club facilities - breakfast is adequate and quiet in the lounge but if you want more choice go to the main restaurant. Evening drinks and food are generous from 7 to 9.30pm, however some staff are great and some are very slow to serve. Food was very good and lots of choice. Pool area is large, you can use any of the pools around the hotel area. Food and drink around the pool is expensive but good. Pleasant stay but would probably pick a different hotel next time around.

chambre très spacieuse haut standing, bien placer prés du mall émirates (un grand centre commercial très classe et haut de gamme) a 10mn de la plage environ 5 euro en taxi. nous avons considérablement apprécier notre séjour dans cet hôtel.
une très bonne destination pour gent sérieux, en couple ou en famille.
il semble que pour les fêtard il y a aussi de quoi sortir la nuit et bien s'amuser!!!!

BREAKFAST IS VERY GOOD, THERE ARE A VARIETY OF NATURAL JUICES, FRESH FRUITS, CEREAL, EGGS, SALAD, HOT FOOD, BREADS, YOGURT, COFFEE, TEA, CHOCOLATE, JAMS, ETC, ETC.
WE HAD TO PAY FOR 1 DAY INTERNET SERVICE AND WAS EXPENSIVE.

The staff of the hotel is amazing. I was treated like a celebrity and employees are super friendly and helpful.
The location can't be beat. It is a mere 2 blocka away from the metro and you get a view the Burj Khalifa depending on your room location.

Nous sommes 2 femmes qui avons passé 5 nuits dans cet hôtel. Ce séjour a été parfait en tous points:
- personnel de l'hôtel souriant, toujours disponible, serviable, poli, respectueux
- complexe hôtelier (4 hôtels) digne d'un château des contes de fées
- déplacements en petite barque ou en voiture de golf entre la chambre, les restaurants, les piscines, la plage
- une immense plage très bien aménagée, propre, surveillée, privée avec vue sur le Burj Alarab
- une mer bleue turquoise, propre et calme
- des clients distingués et discrets
- un spa superbe
- dans le complexe un souk sympathique et de bons restaurants
Le prix élevé vaut largement la peine d'être payé. Au niveau de la situation géographique, l'hôtel se trouve à 10 km de la Marina de Dubai (env. 6 euro la course), 1 km du Mall of the Emirates, 15 km du Burj Khalifa et Dubai Mall (env. 10 euro la course) et 30 km de Deira (le Dubai populaire) (15 euro la course).

The staff are amazing. They help you out no matter what. This is one hotel that said yes to all my demands.

One great thing about The Address Hotels around Dubai Mall, and there are two, is that they are connected directly to Dubai Mall. The mall has so much to do and is considered one of the best in the world. This was our first stay and I didn't realize that there is another Address hotel that is also connected to the mall, The Address Downtown Hotel. I visited this hotel to see if I like it for our next trip to Dubai. It's actually a better hotel with so much to offer, including a great view of Burj Khalifa and the famous Fountain.

The hotel is impressive with gorgeous suites. The location is wonderful with all the sister hotels just a buggy (golf carts) ride away or a view out your window. The buggy rides with very friendly drivers was great. The suites were over the top with electronic controls for everything from drapes & mood lighting to opening the front door, beautiful bathrooms with fullsize toiletry amenities, staircase. You can call the butler to draw your bath water if you wish. The "office" comes complete with a laptop computer, fax machine with your own fax number. Definitely worth the experience once.
Prices are ridiculous though. We went to the lunch buffet the first afternoon. It was a cruise type buffet and decor but cost almost $500. I would not recommend it.
The hotel was just to stuffy for our taste. It was 110 degrees outside yet they request no shorts or sandals in the lobby or restaurants anytime except the pool. Jackets are required for men at dinner.

Had a relaxing week in this hotel, great value too.Plenty and lovely "Buffet Breakfast". The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable. The location was good, just 500m round the corner of the hotel was the new up and running Metro. The only drawback was the traffic noise but after two or three days just faded into the background. I would stay there again happly.

I am studing Arabic and went to Dubai to further my understanding of the language. This hotel was a great deal because they placed me in their apartment section. It included a kitchen, 3 flat screen TV's, 2 bedrooms and baths.Exellent view of downtown Dubai including the Burj Khalifa.By placing me in the apartment section, gave me the feel I was living there. I am going back to stay longer.

Friendly staff with very good service. Occasionally understaffed on the front desk but usually no problems. Apartment a lovely size but could do with re-decoration especially the bathrooms. Towels were quite worn too. Did not always service the room or started and then seemed to have got called elsewhere and did not come back as we could see cleaning had begun but not completed. Hotel food very reasonably priced. Wine was expensive but no doubt the same in all hotels. An annoying drone was heard from the airconditioning unit outside the apartment but apart from this it was a very quiet stay. Taxis were readily available outside hotel - very reasonably priced and easiest way to get around. Breakfast (included in the cost of the apartment) was excellent. Plenty of choice and very good quality food. The restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. We had one dinner in the hotel which was a 'wine buffet'. The food was excellent and there was lots of choice. Would stay again.

Upon checking in, staff were too "giggly" like they were talking about me in their language, then stopped to gawk at me, which made me feel uncomfortable. Then after taking my passport, check in took a long time to process and I had to carry my own bags to my room, which is no problem. But then I had to make 2 calls and wait 2 hours for just a pitcher of ice!? The dining area in the lobby did not have much of a selection, and people were rude. I will not go back to this hotel and do not recommend it!

The hotel is located exactly across an overhead bridge construction and getting a Taxi was almost impossible. its also quite a distance from the Burjuman Metro station.
However, the staff was quite helpful and tried thier best to help. Breakfast was not bad too.
Another shocker was the view which either the contrcution site or
the rooftop of the adjacent building!

Ich war 5 Tage mit meinen Partner in Dubai und dieses Hotel war für uns gut gelegen. 15 Minuten Fussweg zum nächsten Shopping Center wo von dort aus Metro / Turisten Bus nehmen konnten sowie Restaurants zum Essen. frühstück im Buffetformat mit viel auswahl und Pool auf dem Dach (zu wenig liegenstühle aber okey) Sehr sauber und sehr freundliches Personal, sehr hilfsbereit. Das Hotel hat auch einen Shuttlebus zum Strand und zum einkaufszentrum.Für einen besuch als Städtereise sehr zu empfehlen.

This hotel is not within walking distance to the MOE or metro, or anywhere really. You must take a taxi everywhere.

Nice bar with good music on ground floor
Bad:
Manager called daily and harassed us about paying the room service costs. (Clearly we would prefer to pay all together during checkout)
Bed was HARD and uncomfortable
Cheap bed linens
Staff did not make you feel welcome. They make you feel like they do not want people from different cultures there.

We have been upgraded to a suite room which was large and really nice.
The Movenpick is not too far away from the airport this is very convenient when you have a short stop in Dubai between 2 flights.
Great breakfast, efficient staff, very clean rooms, what else could we ask for? No doubt we will come back.

From this point forward whenever I stay in Dubai I will stay at the Movenpick Hotel Deira. The staff were extremely friendly, courteous, and made sure my needs were met. The rooms were large, very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Free internet, close to the airport, and taxis were waved down by the staff at a moments notice.

Great hotel! Convenient for walking tour of the old Dubai, water taxi and markets. The hotel also offers a real touch of life and diversity of people in Dubai, not just the tourists and the fancy shopping malls.
The only problem we had is the tour desk staff gave us the wrong info. as to which metro stop to get off in order to get to another hotel (Dar Al Masyaf Jumeirah) by taking the Metro. It went far far beyond what we should get off (the Mall of Emerites). That was pretty bad because we took her advice over another taxi driver's advice since we trusted as a tour desk staff at the hotel.

We arrived early and were given a room, although we had to change the next day. A rollaway bed was promptly made up for our daughter. The concierge was helpful in planning day trips.

I was very pleased when I arrived with the way the staff greeted me at the car and treated me to a non acholholic drink while cheaking in. They were insistent on helping me to my room and was always excited to see a cowboy from Texas in there lobby. The food was fair as they tried to mimic real Tex-Mex flair but just dont quite ha it yet. The rooms were great and the veiw was great and very quite. I will stay with them again. Neil Martin, Texas

I stayed in Dubai Marco Pole Hotel for four days on a business trip. I found the hotel is nice and clean. What the best I like is that it has free internet in the room. I enjoyed my stay there.

was in dubai as a 36 hour stopover trip. the hotel was easy to get to (30 minutes from the airport for 70AED/20USD). easy check in with a great upgrade. nice room had everything i needed and more. beautiful hotel. glad i stayed in a hotel connected to a mall--entertainment at any time of day if you need to fill time (skiing, people watching, and easy to get a quick bite to eat)
