Swimming pool was very nice, room was really spacious and clean, stuff was very attentive. Swimming pool closes at 8pm, so that generally you can't use it after a day walk around Bangkok, that was a disappointment. And be ready to be charged for wi-fi (only 1 hour free for the whole stay).

I enjoyed my stay at the Grand Millenium a lot. It's conveniently located near both the MRT and Sky Train and right across from Terminal 21, a spectacular shopping mall. The facility inside the hotel is great and clean. Highly recommended.

The hotel is immaculate. The Staff are amazing and the location couldn't be better. If you are looking for an amazing hotel (family friendly), this is the place to be. They have taxi services, buffets, shows, and events for you as well. Not to mention an amazing spa/gym.

Great Hotel for family!

During our 3 days stay in this hotel, we spend most of the time in hotel. My children like to roam around the living room and made their own breakfast with milk & cereal. They enjoyed the TV channels. Its really feel like a home stay to my family. The reception was prompt although the check in was delayed to 3pm but they compensated for the late check out at 2pm. We were pleased with the arrangement. The reading room was perfect for my family to have some quiet time. This is our first time in Bangkok, we will definitely come back to this hotel. We were extremely satisfied with this hotel.

Lovely place with great bang for buck!
Only comment I have is that the blinds in the bedroom of the grande suit I stayed in, block about 60-70% of the sun light so be prepared for an early sunshine wakeup!!

Stayed at this hotel on a 3 nights stop-over and was absolutely blown away by the place, but what made it amazing for me was the staff, from Miss Joy, who checked me in and personally showed me my room, to everybody else who always greeted me with a smile. My room was immaculately clean and spacious and very classily (a word??!) decorated. Good pool and gym. Definately going back. Bravo y felicitaciones!

It was one of the best hotel stays ever! This place is simply amazing- service at the highest level, beautiful design of whole property. Spoteless clean as well.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Location- peaceful and quiet, but close to Skytrain.
I would definietly stay here again. I have seen it's main competitors, and in my oppinion Oriental Residence is absolutely the best.

Unique Hotel in a great location

The hotel is very well located, less than 2 minutes walk to the nearest Sky train station (Ratchadamrui), one stop to Silom and Siam Square, and on the same street as very high end hotels (Four Seasons, St. Regis, Grand Hyatt Erawan).
The hotel is in a very modern style, a membet of Small Luxury Hotels, with great large suite rooms, all decorated to a very high standard. In an effort to be green, the corridors are open-air and not air-conditioned, which makes a lot of sense, though during our stay, this also meant that there were quite a lot of mosquitoes outside of rooms, and also in the breakfast room - which is the only negative point about the hotel.
The staff were incredibly attentive and very friendly (and understanding of our 2 small and noisy kids in this luxurious hotel).
There was also a very good lap pool on the 6th floor and gym facilities with modern machines.
Breakfast was hearty and had a good selection - though if I were hyper-critical, there were a couple of things that for me were not true 5 star deluxe hotel standard - eg stale bread for toast.
I would definitely recommend this hotel - but there are a few kinks to iron out before it matches its neighbours.

This is obviously a very nice hotel. You will get everything you expect from a 5 star Banyan Tree. However, there are just as nice hotels in Bangkok for half the price. Everything costs extra (Internet). Good for business trips, but would recommend looking elsewhere if on vacation/holiday. Would recommend visiting the bar (not the restaurant) on the roof, but would look at other hotels if value is a concern.

FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck in der Suite war im Preis inbegriffen. Sonst sind die Hoteleigenen Restaurants eher teuer, aber das Essen ist es auch Wert. Zu empfehlen ist ein Nachtessen auf dem Dach, die Sicht ist fantastisch! Allerdings auch nicht ganz billig.

No hot water in the shower. Very low pressured toilet which means it does not flush well. It's a hi tech digital toilet which allows user the option of using tissue paper or water irrigation for cleansing. The paperless water cleansing toilet may seem like a good idea but the water spray creates nothing but a mess. One still needs toilet tissue which will then clogs the plumbing. This is a 5 star hotel ??
Pool is gorgeous except it's freezing cold because there's no hot water remember?
Breakfast is pretty good if free but I had to pay extra 500 Baht so it's not that good.
Good news is that location is fantastic, hotel is adjacent to a shopping mall and restaurants and movie theater.
Room is super clean & white just like my dentist clinic thus lacking any charm or character unless your favorite "color" is white.
The gym is awesome though, too bad I couldn't sleep in there cuz the locker room had hot water.
I paid for 3 nights but checked out after the 2nd night and checked into a 2 star hotel next to a BTS at 1000 baht/night which had plenty of hot water, small but clean and a great working toilet, Yes !

Easy walk to shopping centres. For more distant shopping we took an auto rickshaw for pre arranged price of 20 baht return.

The service is beyond belief, better then I have received at any 5 star hotel, only Tokyo comes close. Everybody greets you, they open doors for you and then run to the elevator to pres the button. Large rooms, complimentary fresh fruit, large safe and orchids on your bed for turn-down service. Directly connected to the Skytrain.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The service was wonderful, the room spacious and tastefully decorated. I especially loved the pool area. I only used it in the mornings but it was serence and quiet, surrounded by beautiful vegetation and flowers -- in the middle of Bangkok! I enjoyed my stay so much I am planning a return stay in a couple of weeks. They even stored some of my belongings while I continued to travel. And, they did so without requesting a fee or another firm reservation! The staff was warm, professional and completely service oriented. Fabulous stay!

Ich hatte das Hotel sowohl bei der Ankunft als auch kurz vor dem Abflug gebucht. Es hat in allen Belangen meinen Vostellungen nicht nur genĆ¼gt, sondern hat sie Ć¼bertroffen. Der Empfang freundlich, das Zimmer sehr ansprechend. Die Betten hervorragend. Die Poolanlage fĆ¼r ein Stadthotel wirklich Ć¼berraschend Ć¼berwƤltigend. Das FrĆ¼hstĆ¼cksbuffet folgt diesem Lob der Poolanlage. Auch hier wurde hƶchste PrioritƤt auf QualitƤt gelegt. Ich werde sicherlich dort noch ƶfter nƤchtigen.

My forth visit to the Ascott in two years, unfortunately, will not be staying again, I have complained in 4 occasions that their TV reception is poor, and needs upgrading with signal boosters on each floor. this same problem occurs at two other Ascott properties in Bangkok Somerset Suanplu Lake point the regional manager Valter informed but has done nothing to date especially for Somerset Suanplu where the problem has existed for 5 years

Overall the amenities were excellent including meals and range of food. Check in was slow and another staff member looked after us personally, checked us in and took us to our room.
Staff were welcoming and very efficient. As the hotel was on the riverside we used the ferries to visit various tourist attractions.

We had a balcony suite overlooking the river and it was wonderful. We spent time just watching all the river traffic without the noise. It was our honeymoon. So we didn't leave the room much and enjoyed all the little extras they provided. The room service was prompt and the food was delicious. The staff had great recommendations for things to do. You can catch the river cruise that will take you to the palace at the hotel. So best place to stay if you are doing river cruises.

Hotel still under renovation, noise and smell of thinner are everywhere especially on the same floor of my room, when booking the hotel, website didn't show any notification for the renovation, I have allergic for the smell of thinner and that caused my skin irritation, it's really bad for me to live in a hotel under renovation! staff are friendly, b'fast is great, environment is nice too!
