fantastic stay at Lebua

We stayed at the Lebua for 3 nights in May 2012. The hotel honestly deserves the good ratings. The room was more than spacious, clean and cosy. I never slept in a more comfortable bed than in this hotel.
The breakfast offers exceptionally many choices which complicates the decision making process. From fruits (5-6 seasonal fresh fruits), fresh juices, muffins, donuts, pancakes, waffles, different kind of breads, dim sum, egg corner, bacon, sausage, cereals, müsli, sushi, joghurts, and many more... over to typical thai and asiatic breakfast dishes (e.g. fried rice)! Everyone will find something to eat!
We were invited to take a shower after check out in the spa area of the hotel. We enjoyed the possibility to refresh ourselves...
After all: a fantastic view from the bar at the top of the hotel...!!

I loved this hotel! The ultra contemporary decor makes you feel like you are royalty, and the price was phenomenally reasonable. The staff is very polite. The dining room has an excellent and varied breakfast buffet and a delicious dinner menu, as well. In-room WiFi worked perfectly. The only strange thing was that the bathroom door is a slider that has open slots on each end, so it isn't very private. Also, the location is a bit hard for taxi drivers to find, if they are unfamiliar with the area. I would suggest that the management include specific directions to the hotel on the website. This place is a real bargain. Highly recommended!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The service was wonderful, the room spacious and tastefully decorated. I especially loved the pool area. I only used it in the mornings but it was serence and quiet, surrounded by beautiful vegetation and flowers -- in the middle of Bangkok! I enjoyed my stay so much I am planning a return stay in a couple of weeks. They even stored some of my belongings while I continued to travel. And, they did so without requesting a fee or another firm reservation! The staff was warm, professional and completely service oriented. Fabulous stay!

Ich hatte das Hotel sowohl bei der Ankunft als auch kurz vor dem Abflug gebucht. Es hat in allen Belangen meinen Vostellungen nicht nur genügt, sondern hat sie übertroffen. Der Empfang freundlich, das Zimmer sehr ansprechend. Die Betten hervorragend. Die Poolanlage für ein Stadthotel wirklich überraschend überwältigend. Das Frühstücksbuffet folgt diesem Lob der Poolanlage. Auch hier wurde höchste Priorität auf Qualität gelegt. Ich werde sicherlich dort noch öfter nächtigen.

The hotel is a short cab ride from the airport. Convenient access to main business and shopping centers of Bangkok.
Terrific impression upon entering the spacious and high ceiling lobby.
Doormen, receptionists and staff in general very pleasant.
Room pretty large to acomodate a couple with 4 suitcases and other luggage.
Excellent shower.

The hotel was nice. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. It's not cheap at all, but if you are willing to spend a few extra bucks for comfort and good service this is the hotel for you.

Firstly many thanks for selling this hotel so cheaply 4 nights in 5* luxury for only £246 - simply fantastic.
This hotel is in an amazing location along side the river, a complimentary boat takes guests to the Skytrain station which is the perfect mode of transport to get around bangkok, beats sitting in several traffic jams.
Our room was spacious with two very comfortable double beds which had good quality bed linen. Slippers and robes were also provided for guest use. The bathroom was also spacious, plenty of hand towels and bath sheets were provided. Floor to ceiling window gave a wonderful view of the river.
One minor issue was no plug socket close to the (full lenght) mirror.
Swimming pool areas offered great service with comfotable beds, fluffy towels and parasols, the only down side was the price of drinks and food a diet cola was jsut under £4, we used the complimentary water provided in the room for which bar staff at the swim up bar were happy to provide us with large glasses of ice.
Free internet is provided on the first floor for one hour per day, if you don't have your own laptop or ipad there are 6 terminals provided by the hotel, this is ideal for keeping in contact with home free of charge.
On check in the receptionist gave us 3 keys - one each and the third one was for keeping in the switch which allowed the air conditioning to stay on so the room was always nice and cool when we returned, this was a big bonus.

Internetは有線のため安定していて、速度も速く満足でした。
掃除、アメニティーの補充もしっかりとなされていました。
今回始めての滞在でしたが、一番安い部屋でも十分満足できましたので、次回も利用したいと思います。
ID Check はありますが、ID忘れても自己責任と言えば通してくれましたので、なかなかフレキシブルです。

Close to Sukhumvit and the street shopping there, as well as the Nana entertainment area. The hotel is also a short walk to Ploenchit BTS and easy to get to and from. Liked the hotel and the Internet connection was well behaved as well, making it a useful hotel for the business traveller.

The hotel receptionists are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The free Wi-Fi connection is very smooth while surfing the web from my own room. Location is awesome as advertised, a 1 minute walk you get to reach Pra Khanong BTS station.

The DS67 workers are very friendly, and will to help answer any travel questions in BKK. The hotel is not central location in BKK, but safe and very closed to Phra Kanong BTS station which is easy to go markets to shop. If you like to shop and stay in quiet hotel. It is a great choice.

Lovely place with great bang for buck!
Only comment I have is that the blinds in the bedroom of the grande suit I stayed in, block about 60-70% of the sun light so be prepared for an early sunshine wakeup!!

The service is great, the staff is friendly and responsive, the breakfast menu is very extensive, and the location of the hotel is great, close to the main shopping centers and BTS public transportation is only two blocks away. The rooms are spacious and very clean with great views of the city. If i get a chance to be back in Bangkok this is where I will stay.

The staff was wonderful, never had any problems and the room was the exact size I needed for our 15 day stay. I would recommend this Hotel to friends and family. Excellent experience and one that I will return to should I go back to Thailand.

Clean and efficient hotel situated in a quiter part of central Bangkok. Short walk (or hotel provide a free Tuk Tuk ride) to the nearby skytrain allowing for quick access to other parts of the City.
Staff were attentive and helpful and would certainly use this hotal again when staying in Bangkok.

どこに行くにもとにかく便利。雨がふってもデパートの中を通ってホテルに戻れるのがまたいい。日本人スタッフも親切で近くのおいしいレストランなども教えていただきました。朝食もおいしいし、プールサイドも都会の中のオアシスで最高。ホテルのとなりにある公園がまたいい。バンコクには数十回訪れていますが、トータルで一番いいです。早朝のチェックアウトの際もスタッフさんがタクシーを無償で手配してくれ助かりました。次回も利用したいです。

立地は最高、客室は広くはないが随所に工夫が感じられる。２人で予約したが歯ブラシは１人分だけであった。廊下途中に僅か数段だが階段がある為、階段奥の部屋は荷物を持っての移動が大変です。宿泊した部屋は窓側にアソーク駅に通じる歩道橋の折り返しの脇に当たる為、窓を開ける事が出来ませんでした。大きなケースを広げる程の空間が無い為、荷物整理が大変です。不満を上げれば切りが有りませんが、立地利便性を含めるとコストパフォマンスは良いと思います。連泊に関係なくウイークデイは安価な設定です。逆に週末だけの利用なら他をお奨めします。スタッフの応対は普通に好感が持てるものです。

Wow! I booked here for 3 days, extended to 4. Went to Hua Hin for the weekend and came back. Now the good part: I scheduled my booking off by one day. Do this in any American hotel and you just lose your deposit. No refunds. Period. But at St. James? They asked what happened, explained that they were expecting me the previous night (because I had booked the previous night and had a delay on arrival) and wondering why I showed up the day after my reservation. And then they gave me a free night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Standard amazing service. Standard Thai graciousness. Simply exemplary.

I just like this hotel! FREE WiFi, small but nice pool (does close at 6PM, but I think that rule might flex if you were quiet and polite), one of the better dinner "buffets" around (they will cook to order from a limited menu, along with standard buffet items, at no extra charge). Great staff that is there when you need them but not tripping around and getting in your way. Super friendly! This could be 4 star hotel, and it deserves all 3 of the stars it is currently rated.

全自動クリーニングの仕方をていねいにおしえてくれたこと。洗った後の衣類をふろ場で干して出かけて、部屋に戻ったら、専用の干し掛けに、移して干しておいてくれました。
ただ、残念なのはトイレットペーパーのスペアーを置いてなく自分のティシュを使いました。

Hotel is perfectly located for Dining, shopping, transportation, and nite life. All within a very short walk. Wouldn't recommend it as family destination as there's nothing for children to do in hotel. It's more of a great home base to explore from.

Its a favorite stop over due to how close everything is... Huge shopping mall, restaurants, night life on Soi Cowboy. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a family holiday as there's nothing to do in the hotel.

Good hotel with a good location, breakfast could be improved as it got boring after a few days. Rooms on the small side but with BTS train system next to it, never really stayed in the rooms

The only thing that lets this hotel down is the beds... so hard...makes getting a full nights sleep a total nightmare!!!
Apart from that it really is a lovely place to stay!!!

Staff extremely polite and helpful. Very well organised hotel. Very clean, good internet price, restaurant on lower level not to be recommended the snack bar at entrance level ok. Easy walk to shopping centres. For more distant shopping we took an auto rickshaw for pre arranged price of 20 baht return.

非常好的一家旅館，乾淨、舒服，服務也很快速.....CP值很高，不過離BTS有一點點遠，飯店每半小時會有接駁車，不過我沒使用過，因為都坐計程車，很便宜......
