The service at the hotel was thoughtful and excellent. I stayed two nights. I needed a crib the second night and found one in my room along with a baby tub in my room the next day. It rained the whole time I was there so I didn't get chance to explore the area much so I don't know how close it is to the subway stations etc. They did have umbrellas to loan to their guests. The cab ride from the high speed rail station was about $250NT. There are two parks across the street. The room was a good size and clean. The bed was firm. The internet is on the slow side, but it was free and still adequate. The phone was a little hard to figure out (i.e. no button with direct lines to the front desk, room service etc - you had to refer to the guest information booklet). I couldn't find an ice or vending machine, but there is a convenience store just a block away. Overall, it was a great stay. I would stay again and recommend it.

Un'ottimo rapporto qualita'/prezzo. Non ho possibilita' di comparazione con altri Hotel di Kaoshiung ma posso senz'altro consigliare questo Grand Hotel a chi desidera essere in centro e godere di un ottimo servizio. Il Ristorante Buffet e' veramente spettacolare!

最寄駅からへののアクセスを除くと値段と設備、買い物（下層階がデパート）は問題なしです、さらに歩いて５分もかからず「愛河」があり、朝の散歩には最適です。中心部からは少し離れていますが利便性を確保しつつ、ゆったりすごすのであれば、お勧めです。タイペイで、同じクラスのホテルを選ぶのであれば倍はかかります。ぜひ美味しい海鮮料理を食べに高雄にいきませんか。
ホテルの下に、阪神百貨店がありホテル⇔MRT駅への無料バスが出ていました。

値段からいって あまり期待してませんでしたが 満足できたホテルです。
建物は多少古いですが 室内は清潔できれいでした。
フロントスタッフの 対応も良く 日本から電話で 特急電車のチケット
予約依頼にもきちんと対応してもらいました。
団体観光の指定ホテルになってるみたいで 連日観光バスが 何台も
朝食時 時間帯によっては レストランが混雑してます。
英語対応は十分でしたが 日本語対応は 最低限会話のみが 可能です。
近くには コンビニもあり 不自由はしませんでした。
この 価格なら また お世話になろうと 思います。

Moon Lake Hotel is a newly built hotel in Kaohsiung, open since September 2008, and is located just 1 minutes walk from Houyi(R12) MRT station. The transportation is convenient. And we near the Heart Of Love River which have bicycle driveway. So we also provide free bicycle. The lower price and higher service is our principle. very close to houyi subway station which is 3 stations away from main station(high speed rail station). We stayed in a quad room so it was quite spacious. Staff were friendly but breakfast variety were bad! Overall, a pleasant stay!

I don't know what happens. HotelClub is not good for pricing. Unfotunately, I paid about NT$4000 included the commission of NT$480 of HotelClub for 2 nights (Friday & Saturday during Oct. 8-10)) but walk-in price for this hotel is just around total NT$2900 ($1200+1700). It is a huge differrence. This is my first time to book the hotel thru agency with such charges + higher price difference. Do HotelClub understand what I felt?

On my way to the hotel I thought - oh my god - will the hotel really in that ugly location. Surprisinglyy, yes. But when you see the hotel you are nicely surprised. The only disadvantage is when you watch out of the windows the environment is really not that good. But the rooms itself are nice, clean and functional. The interior is modern and tasteful designed. Definitely a good place to start your sightseeing tours in Kaohsiung. The stuff is very friendly, they speak reasonable english. The breakfast was very local but good enough.
If you plan a short stay in Kaohsiung you will find a good hotel with for a fair price.
I would come again.

The Gear Hotel is a good tourist-class hotel. Service is excellent. Reception staff are very friendly. Breakfast has totally Chinese fare so westerners may not like everything. Coffee and toast are available and good. Breakfast dining room is spacious which is good. Location is so-so because the train station which is the center of everything is far and bus service to the train station from the hotel is poor. It is a 1 or 2 km walk to the train station if you are energetic and not old.

這間酒店係各方面都 OK, 自助早餐亦不錯, 但是, 它的地理位置實在太僻了!! 雖然, 你只要在高雄火車站左手面一路向前行就到, 但也未免太遠了!! 要行20分鐘才到, 而且, 它不近任何景點, 附近又沒有什麼巴士, 去每一處都要行兼行好耐, 真的十分不方便!! 不過, 它其他方面都真係 OK O架~

部屋がエレバーター付近でノイズが一晩中続き寝れませんでした、部屋のサイズや衛生面では問題ありません。朝食もコンチネンタルです。

Located in old township and close to heart of Kaohsiung's business and financial district by across the famous city site "Love River". Walking distance to access to the port dock. And former British Consulate building, Sou mountain, Cijin bay area are all close by. The hotel is in 25 minutes drive time from Kaohsiung International Airport and 15 minutes away from Kaohsiung railway station.

Hotel located in commercial centre of Kaohsiung City, 10 minutes from HSR / MRT Kaohsiung Station by taxi, 15 minutes drive can access Chung Shan Highway, 20 minutes reach Kaohsiung International Airport.

Das Hotel war im ganzen, ganz ok. Die Sauberkeit und das freundliche Personal war sehr angenehm. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war doch sehr auf Chinesiche Bedürfnisse abgestimmt, es gab zwar internationales Frühstük nur wiederholte sich das jeden zweiten Tag und die Auswahl war sehr begrenzt. Und Pommes Fritz und Chicken Nuggets ist zum Frühstück auch eher gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Fehrsehkanäle könnten auch etwas mehr internationaler sein, da sich chinesische Sender auf die dauer auch eher nerven. Ansonsten ist mein Fazit ok aber nichts besonderes.

rear side exit of the Kaohsiung Railway Station and connected to many local bus
terminal by passenger underground, close to the shopping and commercial
district, 5 minutes' drive away from the National Museum of Science and
Technology and the Museum of Fine Arts. 10 15 minutes to Love River and Lotus
Lake scenic spot.

The hotel is fine. However, the map provided by google is wrong.
There is another Toong Mao Evergreen Hotel which is close to the
Love River. Google's map mix these two hotels up.

This property is nice and comfort to stay, suitable for back-packed or budget travellers. 02/09DH A white color modern concrete building with windows stand along the street, 12-floor rise and recently renovate in 2002. This hotel is located near to city's popular shopping places, night markets, and department stores are also close by. 15 minutes ride away from Kaohsiung International Airport and around 10 minutes to reach to Kaohsiung Railway Station and two local Exhibition venues, Cultural Hall of Kaohsiung or famous site spot " Chen-Chin Lake".

６９階のスイ－トに泊まったが、景色は最高。
清潔感もあり、清掃もゆきとどいていた。
ＭＲＴから少し遠く、歩くと１０分くらいかかるのが不便

枕頭不合我胃口
不過整個飯店是漂亮的!!!設施也不錯
