Dieses Hotel liegt an der Zürcher Bahnhofstrasse, nur ca. 200m entfernt vom Hauptbahnhof.
Das Hotel ist sauber und modern mit reichhaltigem Frühstücksbuffet.
Das Personal ist freundlich und mehrsprachig.
Wir haben das Hotel jeweils nur für eine Nacht gebucht, um uns ins Zürcher Nachtleben zu stürzen... dafür und auch für Geschäftsleute, ist das Hotel empfehlenswert.

Being a 4 star hotel, I expected to find coffee and tea facilities in the hotel room, but apart from a kettle, there were none. Also both soap dispensers in the bathroom weren't topped up all during our stay. Bar and restaurant prices were over the top.

Rooms are fairly priced and the location is perfect. Spa (incl. Fitness, Sauna) is great (doesn't belong to hotel). The superior rooms (standard rooms) are better than you would get in any major city in Europe... Free internet too...

Extremely nice and helpful reception staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Great for airport access. Overpriced breakfast. Morning airport shuttle became full and I had to get out and take a taxi. The hotel did pay for the taxi however. Would stay there again.

Was in Zurich on business for a few nights. This hotel is convenient to the airport with a tram stop right outside the entrance to the hotel. I was able to take the tram to and from both the airport and my meeting location. Room service was quick and tasty. Staff were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great for a short weekend but amenities were limited

I arrived by car and got a nice room with a large bed and beautiful view. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Nice lobby area and the breakfast buffet was great and worth the money. Unfortunately, I woke up very early in the morning as I could hear doors slamming every couple of minutes as cleaners were tidying up the rooms next door which was a little annoying. However, the receptionist kindly offered free parking to compensate for the inconvenience caused. The slippers were missing in my room and there was a sauna which was supposed to be open from 8am onwards but wasn't switched on (no one was there to assist either, so had to call the main reception in my bathrobe) - there were no facials either which I would expect in an American five star hotel. The hotel is very central but not in the busiest area of Zurich, so not particularly walking distance to the main areas of the city. However, overall I was very pleased with my stay and would recommend this hotel for business trips or short weekends in Zurich. There are two restaurants and the Thai restaurant looked great - shame, I didn't get a chance to try the food there. I would have enjoyed a longer stay at the hotel, if they offered more spa facilities and a nice roof terrace which would have been great since the building is so tall and would have offered a nice view of Zurich city.

The hotel is beautiful, both the common areas and the rooms. The staff was friendly, and all amenities were very nice. I particularly appreciated the free Internet access, something I do not usually find in hotels in Europe.

Great hotel literally at the airport

We had a 10-hour layover in between flights and we figured we mine as well get a hotel room. Looked into this place since it was literally in the airport and we could walk to our gate in the morning. Great hotel with very trendy dining and nightlife. The staff was great and spoke English which was a good thing considering we had no background in French although we did try the waiter said it was not necessary. Would definitely recommend to a person needing to stay close to the Zurich Airport.

駅の近くとの立地でこのホテルに決めましたが、ウェルカムドリンクやお菓子、フルーツを頂いたり、部屋も清潔で素敵でしたのでとても良かったです。
只、受付のご年配の女性と、若い研修生らしき女性の態度が非常に悪く、がっかりでした。
こちらは恥ずかしながら、英語があまり分からずにいたのですが、長い英語でベラベラと早口で捲し立て、こちらを大変馬鹿にした様子でした。
英語の勉強不足も良くないで、今後頑張りたいと思いますが、今まで旅行したホテルの受付の方々は、皆丁寧で親切で、こんなひどい受付の対応は初めてのことでした。
長い電車の旅をして疲れていましたが、本当に不愉快でとても悲しかった。
旅の最後のホテルでしたが、とても印象が悪く、台無しになってしまいました。
後でベルボーイの方の暖かで親切な応対に救われましたので、サービスの評価は「良い」にしました。
スイスはとても素晴らしい国ですので、またいつか訪れたいと思っていますが、あの二人の女性のような心無い方がいるならば、このホテルにはもう泊まりたくありませんし、友人にも勧められません。

I conducted business meetings and went on gallery tours. I would have liked a fitness center. The cost of breakfast was not included, whereas similar hotels in Switzerland, which cost less, but are equally good, include a full buffet breakfast.

Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr qualitätvoll ausgestattet. Das Fenster hat trotz Streetparade jeglichen Lärm von der Strasse äußerst effektiv abgehalten. Das Personal an der Rezeption war ausnehmend hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war allerdings relativ klein.

Great but skip Breakfast!

The hotel was beautiful and clean, and the free drink tickets were excellent but skip the breakfast. We spent almost $100 (35 cgh per person!) on a cold buffet. Also there was no free wifi....ran about $10 an hour with only one log on.

Swissotel Zurich is very conveniently located - 1 train stop from Airport, 2 train stops from Zurich Main train station.
Customer service/reception staff were friendly. Special thanks to Luca - he was extremely helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable - made good recommendations on sightseeing and restaurants. He made our stay fuss free. Highly recommend this hotel.
Downside - Room/bathrom was rather small, pillows were too soft, Internet at CHF30 per day is daylight robbery - definitely didn't justify paying such a price for using it for a couple of hours. Should have been complimentary for all guests considering the internet is such a necessary part of our lives.

In Zurich for business, four days in July. This is one of the very few five star rated hotels in Zurich. It is in a great location downtown Zurich. Rooms are clean although there is mold in the showers. Air conditioners are not powerful enough for hot summer days and nights. Housekeeping services acceptable. Staff attitudes and interaction does not really match the star rating. Overall, definitely overpriced and overrated for the service and lacks a top luxury hotel chain culture. Stayed at the Ritz in Berlin for one week last month, impeccable service, food and amenities. Too bad there isn't yet a Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons in Zurich.

This hotel was good enough as any other Marriott I have ever visited. Although there was no air conditioning, or it didn't work. Not sure if it is for some swiss regulation on air conditioning. I would recommend it to anyone!

This hotel was close to the train station which was great because we were arriving from the airport. The hotel staff was friendly and helped direct us to our next location. Close by was a starbucks and great sushi at Kai bar aswell as a great (but expensive) restaurant attached to the hotel. There is not much to do around the hotel, but a great place to start our road trip around Switzerland :)

Simple and clean stay

the hotel is very well kept. Rooms are a great size, with enough space for luggage and room to walk about. Rooms are very well cleaned, new linens, clean and good size bathroom. The showers are a bit odd as there isn't really a door but regardless clean and easy on the eyes. Staff is very helpful and can give advice for buses and train travel, and yes they speak english. Be sure to check out the train route as it is about a 10min or less walk but also buses that take you to the train station with direct trains to zurich.

This hotel is less than 5 miles from the Zurich airport but less convenient because the shuttle bus only leaves once an hour and it doesn't run at all in the middle of the day. I actually made a mistake booking there, and it was sort of inconvenient. But on the other hand, the hotel itself is quite nice, there is an unusually excellent italian restaurant right there, the staff was very nice, etc. I made it work without a big problem, just working more around the shuttle than I thought I would. I walked to the train station from the hotel and headed into downtown Zurich without any problem at all.
