Most beautiful hotel we stayed at

I originally booked a single room for my wife and I not knowing that two people can't stay in a single room. The hotel and I were in communication and we decided to spend 412 CHF/night for the wonderful junior suite with a Matterhorn view. I cannot tell you how charming and wonderful the room and hotel is. Zermatt is beyond beautiful and the hotel staff go beyond their duties to make you feel special. I have stayed at 5 star hotels that never make you feel this nice. It is a pricy place to stay but everywhere in Zermatt is.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mirabeau. The room was alpine rustic, while also being stylish and modern. The hotel's restaurant was excellent. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, so the location was very convenient. But the best thing about the hotel was the staff. They told me the best place to rent skis, how to get around, and recommended a fantastic hiking path that I never would have found on my own.

Better than we imagined

I had been to the Astoria many times in the 1990's but hadn't remembered how charming it was. Our room had a huge wrap-around balcony and a wonderful view. It was a great location with restaurants, ski and tourist shops, the bus to the lifts and the river all very close by. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The room came with earplugs because there are several hot nightspots down stairs. The music played loud late into the night. I happened to like the music so to my surprise it didn't bother me a bit.

The hotel staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The location is midway between to the main ski lifts (gondolas & trains). Great breakfast included. Free wifi as well. Lively apre-ski entertainment at the adjacent pub. Some rooms with balconies and a beautify view of the Matterhorn.

We spent one night at the hotel. The rooms were on the average side, however, like many European hotels the beds were small (two singles pushed together).We enjoyed a nice fondue dinner in the restaurant.

Description
The Chalet Hotel Schoenegg is a small family owned hotel which accommodates a maximum of 75 people in 34 rooms, 2 suites and 1 family apartment. The hotel has its own private lift which takes you from the town center straight up to the reception.
Our hotel is well known for its fine cooking and its choice of wines. The restaurant "Gourmetstuebli" offers an excellent choice of a-la-carte dishes and for our half-board guests, our chef creates a delicious five course meal.
To relax after a strenuous day, we recommend our newly renovated spa area with sauna, steambath, Jacuzzi and "Kneipp-corner". Why don't you spoil yourself with a relaxing massage?

Hotel Firefly`s luxury suites are between30 and 154 qm2, offering ample space for 2 to 8 people. The care and attention to detail with which they are put together is clear from the 15 individual suites, all of which have a balcony and many an open fireplace. A must are exclusive kitchens and granit baths, not to mention flat screen TV, Playstation, iPod docking station and complimentary wireless connection. A high quality gym and spa area with indoor pool and relaxation conservatory is also available for your enjoyment. In summer there are moutain bikes and a climbing wall and in winter we have an inhouse ski school.

The Matterhorn Hostel provides the perfect accommodation in winter and summer for low budget travelers. The Hostel is well located in Zermatt which is not only a picturesque village but also one of the top-ranked ski resorts in Europe. The great location gives guests great access to the mountains. The ski slopes, hiking and biking trails are only a hundred meters away. Hotels rooms are clean, cozy and comfortable. Toilets and showers are shared. Hotel also have a bar and a restaurant (closed in off season) as well as Wi-Fi and free Guest Computer. You will find a pleasant and warm atmosphere in rustic timber house (built in the 1960s). Hotel's friendly and helpful staff will try and make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is no curfew so you can explore the resort at your own pace. The building is a typical Swiss chalet construction. The hotel is located a short walk from the man train station in Zermatt and the centre. The hotel has some wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and mountains.

This hotel is ideal base to explore everything which Zermatt as to offer. Highly recommended for guests wanting the peace and quiet away from the Centre of the Village. The hotel has recently opened a new wellness area with swimming pool, sauna, and treatment areas, the entrance to which is included for hotel guests. 0608SO It is actually quite a modern building, but it is traditional in style with plenty of exposed woodwork and intricate detailing. The hotel is located by the river just outside the centre of the village, a pleasant 05 minutes walk to the train station.

マッターホルンを擁するツェルマットは、それだけで十分な観光地であるが、Allalin Hotelの心づくしの「おもてなし」のおかげで、滞在を最大限に楽しむことができた。立地のよさのみならず、ホテルの内装は品のよい木彫で統一されており、清潔感も抜群である。スタッフの親切心、朝食のセンスとバラエティーの豊富さなど、文句なしのホテルである。マッターホルン・ビューに滞在したが、3泊のうち2日は、雲ひとつない山頂をおがむことができたのも、幸いであった。数年後に再訪したい土地でもあるし、それがかなえば、次回も、同ホテルに滞在したい。

It was a great hotel to stay in, the staff were very friendly and helpful and took a personal interest in each guest. The position in Zermatt was ideal, close to the town and the station.

This is a family-run hotel, which has been very well looked after. It is popular with repeat guests who appreciate the personal touches and service. It has a very attractive wellness area with a well-designed indoor swimming pool. 0708SR This is a traditional swiss style chalet building over 4 storeys. It is an attractive building with a front garden and a welcoming entrance and a swimming pool to the front of the hotel. Located in a quiet area, walking distance to the centre of the town and the shopping area.

This hotel was perfect for exploring Zermatt and all that it has to offer.
We couldn't fault the hotel, the staff were so helpful and kind and the room was spacious and well equipped.
This was our first trip to Switzerland and it meant that we were comparing all other hotels to this one, unfortunately they did not match it.

This is an excellent standard of hotel which offers a range of recreational facilities together with extremely high levels of service. 0608SO The timber facade with balconies gives hotel a traditional alpine appearance. This hotel is very well situated in the centre of Zermatt. The building is on the pedestrian street and actually makes up part of the main street with the shops on street level.

This spa area is located in the sister hotel, Hotel Mont Cervin, which is close by the Hotel Monte Rosa. 0708SR This attractive building is painted white, with red shutters. Originally a traditional inn, the building was later transformed into a fine hotel. This hotel is located in the centre of Zermatt, within easy walking distance of the shopping area and ski lifts.

Room service is available; the hotel has 1 lift and 4 floors. Porterage is available also. Guests are also able to enjoy the indoor pool, solarium, gymnasium, sauna, tennis courts and golf course. 0808SR This is a modern, purpose built hotel which is actually divided into two wings which are in theory separate hotels, although they share all facilities. The hotel is located on the east side of Zermatt in a slightly elevated position above the mountain river which flows through the village. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and shopping area.
