Scandic Hotel Umea Syd is located within short distance from the airport and the center of the university town of Umea. The hotel is built in two levels and the facilities consist of 161 rooms. Onsite we offer indoor pool, sauna and gym that our guests have free access to. There are also 8 conference rooms in the hotel that can host from 2 up to 110 delegates. All our rooms have shower/bath, movie channels and wireless Internet access. For our youngest guests we have a playroom that is very popular.

Description
The river Ume has given its name to the Clarion Collection Uman, which is centrally located on Storgatan in Umea. This old medical officers villa, which constitutes the main building, has been the inspiration for the hotel's theme. The long and adventurous medical service in a remote and sparsely populated wilderness. Complimentary evening buffet meal from 6pm and 10pm and complimentary afternoon coffee and tea with waffles. Free access to sauna and relax department with free beer in the sauna. Also big, complimentary breakfast buffet included in room rate. Children 12 and under stay free if sharing room with parents or grandparents when no extra bedding is required. 100% smoke free hotel. Pet charge: 200 kr per stay.

Bra läge i centrum. Mycket serviceinriktad personal. Gratis eftermiddagsfika + lättare kvällsbuffe. Inrett på ett mycket mysigt sätt där gammalt och nytt gifter sig med varandra. Har inget negativt att säga om hotellet.

Friendly hotel in the city center

This hotel looks very friendly. The room was pleasant and well equipped. The location is convenient in the city center. It would be useful to find some information about the railway stations when booking, as the trains now arrive at the new railway station Umea Ostra, which is not close to this hotel.
