The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The food was very good.
Description
Business is a pleasure here with meeting rooms for 2-120 and wireless internet access throughout, LCD projector and audio equipment. Take it easy at the Scandic Winn hotels relaxation area, with Jacuzzi, gym and saunas. Dine in the spectacular Restaurant and Bar Café Artist, one of the first ecolabelled resturants in Sweden. Nearby are Karlstad attractions like the city park, Värmlands Museum and golf courses.

Nice room and comfortable bed. No fridge in room. Parking was close by and easy to arrange. Great breakfast - lots of variety.

Nice hotel with very good location, even if Karlstad is a small city, and as always in Scandinavia - a large brekfast is included. Reception-staff is ok, but that´s it. Free bicycles for a "tour" along the river.

The Clarion Collection Hotel Bilan is a beautiful stone building from the 19th century, Varmlands old country prison in the city center of Karlsatd. You are guaranteed an unusual stay. The old cells have been converted into 40 double rooms and 28 single rooms, varying in size from 15 to 35 square meters. The buildings history is reflected in the interior decoration. A dinner buffet together with a light main course is included in the room price and is served every evening between 6.00pm and 9.00pm. In the mornings we offer a tasty breakfast buffet that can be enjoyed on our large sun terrace in the summer. Pet charge: 200 kr per stay. A beautiful hotel typical of the luxury properties owned and operated by this hotel chain. It offers fantastic views over the river and surrounding parkland ensuring a calm and relaxing atmosphere in which to stay. A sauna and refreshing pool, as well as a solarium and gym are available in the hotel for all guests. A beautiful and classical designed building of the late 19th Century. This property is one of Sweden's most beautiful hotels. It is centrally located by the riverside of Klaralven. The city's main shopping streets are located behind the hotel as are a multitude of dining and entertainment options.

The location is very good. In fact, the hotel is located in the center of Carlstad. The standard and the hotel history is amasing. I find the price disconcertingly low. There is several good restaurants very close.
