As many others commented, this is a fancy, new, themed hotel. We happened to have a room with someone in the movie business that we didn't know so it wasn't that amazing to me. But the decor is tastefully done. Nice breakfast too!

The parking on arrival was a bit of a palava and rather expensive. I was not impressed with a 4 star hotel that had no evening restaurant facilities. But saying that, the hotel itself was immaculate, comfortable, good value for money and the staff were top notch.

Our first stop on our short trip to northern Spain was at the Palacio De Aiete Hotel in San Sebastian. I found the route to the hotel a little confusing, with Spain's fascination with multiple round-a-bouts, but we finally got there. The staff at the desk was friendly and spoke excellent English. Not a complete must for us, as my wife speaks passable Spanish. The room was clean and modern with a nice shower in the loo. Comfortable European style beds, TV, and free wi-fi throughout the hotel with no password needed. Downtown San Sebastian is within walking distance, and 6-8 euro's one way by taxi. On the morning of our departure we received wonderful directions to our next destination from the font desk. When I commented on the clerks excellent English, he told me he had taken advanced courses at university to gain more fluency. All in all a great stay.

A clean and friendly hotel, but expensive breakfast and an awkward location. It is on a frequent bus route which makes getting into the centre of town easy but it would be a problem for a family trying to convey all the gear it needed to go to the beach.

It's a nice hotel, but not great, except for its location. Unfortunately, unbeknwnst to us, we booked for days that coincided with the San Sebastian Film Festival, so it was very, very pricey!

we found the hotel nicely located on a small hill a short distance walk from the beach and our favourite, the old town where many of the restaurants are located.The walk is very pleasant and easy, down hill all the way. The amenities of the hotel are good, especially the cabana by the pool which is well kept and wonderful. The only disappointment is that unllike the year before the breakfast was not included in the price of the room. All in all an enjoyable stay.

Lovely hotel inside. Awful looking from outside. Pool was closed when we stayed as it was too early in season(end of May!) but we sunbathed by the pool and it all looked gorgeous. Food very good in the restaurant and basic food in bar area. Room very nice with balcony. Bed very comfortable. Tidy and clean. Would be nice if there were tea/coffee making facility in room. Location to beach 7min walk downhill. Location to main town 30 min walk. So taxi required for restaurants/nights out. 7min walk to tennis club.

My Husband and I are on our Honeymoon and have been road tripping around Europe. We've stayed in a lot of different hotels and locations on this trip and we loved this hotel. The location is fantastic. The beach is just 4 or 5 blocks away and for people who live in a walking city like us, it was so easy to get to. Also the area the hotel is located in isn't loud and crazy. There are cafes and pharmacies all around to take care of any coffee or toiletry needs. The hotel itself was modern and inviting and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, even though my husband and I only speak broken spanish with bad accents we found it easy to communicate with everyone. My only caution is that unlike NY most services in San Sebation do not work on Sunday that includes the hotel laundry service and all pharmacies.

We took a cab via a mountainous zig zag road as a prelude. We were checked in by very polite and courteous staff.
Our room opened to a wall to wall window and balcony overlooking the bay of conch, Donostia-San Sebastián.
It was an awesome view of the beach, the city, and the mountains. In the other direction is the view of the Atlantic coast towards Biarritz, France.
Coffee was great! But food items leave much to be desired.

Hotel was in a beautiful location at the top of a small mountain at the point of the bay. View was fabulous, fun amusement park around the hotel and the funiclar which provided transportation up and down the mountain was lots of fun. Would highly recommend this hotel

Located in front of the bay of la concha the 4 stars hotel de londres y de inglaterra was built in the 19th century and offers state-of-the-art facilities. In a 5 minutes walk you will find everything you could ever wish for in san sebastiantapas fine cuisine countryside shops leisure theatres museums cinemas exhibitions and much more. San sebastian is quite simply right on your doorstep.
From October 1st 2012 to March 1st 2013- the hotel will undergo a refurbishment. Please be advised that all city view rooms will be obstructed due to the refurbishment. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to welcoming you to the hotel.

The hotel had a very good location, right on the sea front. However I did not think the staff were very friendly. They were professional but lacked that friendly touch you would expect.
The room was clean except the bathroom. There were hairs on the floor from the previous residents and I found one of their nails that they had obviously pulled off, that was disgusting!
The hotel is rated 4 star and advertises internet around the hotel. What they do not tell you, is that the internet is not free! I found this very disappointing, as did my 13 year old son. You had to pay either 10 euros for 24 hours or 6 euros for an hour. Really, for a four star hotel this is very bad. We travelled to San Sebastian by bus, and this had free internet!!!. I felt paying a lot of money for one night with a dirty bathroom, no breakfast, the bar shut at 1pm and no internet, was certainly not value for money. I would not return to this hotel or any other ABBA hotels across Spain.

San Sebastian is not the least expensive place to stay, but this hotel is a decent value considering it is in San Sebastian. The location is okay, not really close to old town, but nothing is that far away in San Sebastian. There is a nice grocery store very close, and it is not too far to the beach.
The room was nice, but like most places in Spain, the mattress was too firm. I would still consider staying here again if the price is right

場所はコンチャ海岸からは遠いが、近くの海岸もとても綺麗でよかったし、静かなホテルで問題なかったです。ただ、バルやレストランが集中する場所からは遠いので、車Ｏｒタクシーが必要でした。
部屋は２部屋分でとても広くて清潔だし、よかったです。ダブルベッドの部屋でしたが、ベッドも広く、家族３人（２歳児付き）で十分横になれました。
朝食は別で、子供も有料で高かったので、ホテル内のカフェで食べました。サンドイッチがおいしく、サービスも良く、お値段も手ごろなので、がっつり食べたいという人でなければ、こちらがお勧めです。

While there was no bar on site, that may have been a blessing in disguise.
While a convenient walk into the town, a tough one home, but a taxi was a mere 6.50!

Nevertheless, each of them is different, having a cared and special decoration. The hotel provides library lounge and en english bar. Description
This is a highly recommended hotel for those willing to explore this beautiful area of the Basque Country, between the mountains and the sea. 06/07MP The hotel is a traditional geometric building made of modern materials. This hotel is located next to the motorway, just 10 km from the beautiful San Sebastian, which takes about 15 minutes thanks to the easy motorway connection, which also makes easy the access to the airport. There is a daily public connection to/from the hotel by bus. It is located in an area very near the border between Spain and France; from this point, many beautiful routes can be followed to experience this part of the Green Spain.

Hotel más grande que los habituales de carretera. Instalaciones correctas. Lógicamente ruido en las habitaciones que dan a la carretera, no así en las traseras. No tiene aire acondicionado (importante en verano, por lo del ruido, aún mayor si se abren las ventanas). El desayuno escaso y mal servido en la cafetería. La localización no es perfecta por estar casi en "ninguna parte", pero esta cerca de Donostia y de otras localidades y playas. En contra de lo que pudiera parecer, pienso volver, ya que la relación calidad-precio es aceptable, sobre todo comparando con otros en la zona.

Das Hotel liegt an der sehr lauten und befahrenen Strasse von Hondarribia/Irun nach San Sebastian, dementsprechend laut sind die Zimmer. Für Ausflüge nach Frankreich und San Sebastian gut gelegen, grosser Carrefour + Tankstelle gleich daneben.Der einzige Sessel hatte in der Polsterung Brandlöcher und war staubig, gab ein Handtuch darauf, am nächsten Tag war es weg ohne Ersatz zu erhalten. Am Balkon geraucht, der Aschenbecher wurde nur einmal geleert - Aufenthalt 4 Tage. In der Dusche waren noch meine Haare vom Vortag und kein Duschgel im Spender. Es gibt in diesem Kostenbereich/Preis sicher ein besseres Hotel in der Umgebung zB Ibis in Irun
