Afgelopen dagen in dit hotel verbleven.
Bij aankomst op de kamer schrokken we een beetje, het was een kleine kamer, klein bed voor 2 personen.
Het bleek dat we de verkeerde kamer hadden gekregen. We hadden geboekt voor een superieurkamer en dit was de normale kamer. Bij de balie werd dit snel en goed opgelost.
De superieurkamer is echt superieur. Erg groot fijn bed, goede airco, minibar, 2 douches en een handige kluis! Hotel ligt op een goede locatie, geen geluidsoverlast gehad. Bij de receptie bellen ze een taxi voor je, is er binnen 5 minuten. Binnen 2 minuten sta je in hartje Malaga. Strand duurt wat langer, ligt eraan welke kant je kiest.
Ontbijt was erg goed, wij hadden dit niet geboekt maar konden gewoon tegen betaling van 12 euro p.p. ontbijten. Ontbijt is in buffetvorm van croissants tot Engels ontbijt.
Op het dak van het hotel zit een klein zwembad, en een mooi terras met een vrolijke barman! Aan het zwembad kon je eten bestellen, wat een luxe!
Vol lof over dit hotel. Wel zou ik kiezen voor de superieurkamer aangezien de normale kamer echt aan de krappe kant is.

Location was excellent. Rooms functional but a bit stark for our taste. Unfortunately water went off for 10 hours one day and two of the three lifts were inoperational for one of the mornings, which resulted in a half hour wait for the lift (our room on 10th floor so very inconvenient). Staff were polite but not friendly.

Beautiful hotel - the only 5-star in Malaga, I believe. Not a bad price at that time of year (February). Staff excellent too. The only problem is parking - very difficult nearby because of all the businesses and restrictions and very costly in the hotel, I believe. We just about managed it as we only hired a tiny car.

This was a great inexpensive alternative to a beachfront hotel. It was walking distance from the train station and the beach and a block away from the grey line bus stop. The room was modern and everything worked. All at front desk spoke English and were helpfull.

Hotel across a busy road from beach, although very clean, very much a business style hotel. No balconies, no pool and only a very small menu available in the breakfast room - no lunch or dinner restaurant. Definitly NOT suitable for a beach style holiday. Very disappointed with recommondation for my four day stay in the sun. About a 10euro taxi ride to the main shopping area of Malaga.

This is a great choice if you like a clean, comfortable, modern and well maintained hotel with contemporary stylings, good service and friendly staff, and all of the basic amenities. It is an especially good choice if you have a car, or are renting a car, you are not so concerned about tourist attractions within walking distance, and you want easy auto access to the airport, downtown, and the Costa del Sol in general. It is relatively easy to find your way back to (on the main thoroughfare to the port with a tall chimney nearby that can serve as a landmark), and it has free nearby parking on the street. It is not near or within easy walking distance of anything in particular other than a small public park, a place to walk along an ordinary beach, and a Burger King a few blocks away.

elimar hotel is wonderfully located. in front of the sea - 5 seconds to go! they have english speaking staff and good buffet for breakfast and lunch.
besides if you have a car you can reach in an hour or two a lot of places of interest: Gibraltar, Cape Trafalgar, Ronda, Malaga etc.
