I was only at the hotel for an overnight stay prior to my flight back home. The only negative that I experienced was the mattress. It was hard. The hotel is close to the Madrid airport and the free shuttle to the airport was great. Shuttle drivers/coordinators did an excellent job of organizing us for our ride to the airport.

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the airport and because it had a shuttle. We arrived at the hotel after 1 AM and departed at 7 AM the next morning. All we wanted was a good night's sleep and a ride to and from the airport. The shuttle was not running when we arrived, and it was jammed packed the next AM, but the room was great, very pretty.

Sleek, modern, clean hotelt with all necessary amenities--and then some. For a business trip or an early a.m. flight departure, the location is ideal. We, however, arrived at noon the day before we left and it is in the middle of a residential area with no place to go and little to see. The only draw back though. Also, I would check the shuttle times to/fro the airport: I was told every 30 minutes but we waited over an hour at the airport and ended up taking a taxi. Kudos to them, though, as they reimbursed us for the fare.

Not a four star property

This hotel is listed as a four star hotel but it is clearly not. I would compare it to your standard Best Western hotel you would find at a freeway off-ramp in America. The room and bathroom were very small, even by European standards and did not come with soap/body wash. If you can get a decent price it is worth staying here because it is close to the airport but don't expect too much.
Despite the shortcomings of the hotel, the overall experience was good. The staff was very helpful and spoke English well. Check-in was fast and easy and I was in my room within five minutes of arriving at the hotel. The next morning my wake up call was on time and when I got downstairs they had already called a taxi.
Wireless access is spotty. The website said that the room has access but I could only get a signal if I stood near the door to my room. They did have a small laptop in the lobby that you could use if wanted.
A taxi ride to/from the hotel can be expensive because the airport charges the drivers a hefty fee which they pass on to you. With all of the extra charges they pile on the taxi ride cost roughly 17 euro each way.

very nice hotel, one of our best that we used, stayed in seven different hotels, breakfast was very good they had hot foods as well as all the usual continental breakfast, and one of two out of the seven that had AC and we were there in late april when the temp got into the upper 80's staff was very nice and we had ice and drink and snack machine, the only hotel we found that in.....hope this will help someone else

I didn't expect to pay for internet in the room.... I'm use to free wireless internet... there was no refridgerator, so no cold drinks in the room. The breakfast buffet should include beef, turkey, or chicken for non-pork eating people like myself. The eating utensils were not completely clean had water stains and some had food stains. The room was nice and comforting. I thought that this hotel was close to the airport but it's at taxi distance. Short walk to the bus stop to get downtown... The hotel is clean and the rooms are modern and tasteful. Although right next to the airport and a multi-lane high-speed road, the room was totally quiet from outside noise. The maids talked down the hall loudly for hours and this disturbed us after a late night taking-in Flamenco. It seems that all development around the hotel stopped abruptly at about 80 percent completion, perhaps because of the global economy, making it seem as if one is in a war zone. It is a 20-minute cab ride (30 Euro one-way) or a 45-minute bus and Metro ride ($2.50 Euro one-way) to downtown.

What a surprise; elegant artwork throughout,space galore, and a breakfast buffet that tops them all.
The posted room rates were 300 euros high season and 230 for low season for a double......Why did I get such a low rate from Cheaptickets? They need to fill those rooms! The parking fee was not included 21 euros a day. The bathroom ceiling was coming apart and mole growing on the edges of the bath tub.....But, worth the experience and shuttle works well to get back to the airport and the metro!

The description is that this hotel is .7 of a mile from airport, but it takes 20 minutes; promotion was a bit misleading---we picked it because it seemed so extremely close and convenient.
We arrived about 10 p.m., but had an early morning flight, so very little time spent in this attractive and large hotel. It appeared to have wonderful facilities, but we had no opportunity to enjoy.
The driver of shuttle a bit grumpy, and the staff average. Hotel rooms great, sparkling, and comfortable.
Asked staff for a 4 a.m. wake-up, but got it at 5 a.m.. So missed the shuttle; fortunately got the next, but with no time for shower, etc.

Nice hotel in the corporate district

There are several large businesses near this hotel (such as 3M) so it could be that they primarily cater to business travelers. We were traveling on vacation and it was just as nice. The hotel shuttle didn't show up so the front desk paid the 10 euros for us to take a cab to the airport -very nice.

This is a very comfortable and modern hotel located between the airport and city center. I liked the convenient location. It is not city center and for tourism you might want to find something more central or located near the subway, but for late airport arrival or departure it is a great hotel. Rooms are comfortable, wireless internet is free throughout the hotel and is fast. They have a free shuttle to the airport. Breakfast was not included for me with the Orbitz rate, but the gigantic buffet is well worth the 12 Euros.

Spent a day in Madrid before catching an early flight out the next morning. Not that centrally located to action in Madrid, but comfortable and near enough to the airport. Very modern decorated (not my taste) but in the end I got a good night's sleep and got to airport in plenty of time. Bus to center of Madrid less than a block away. Cabs out front when needed. (If they call, fare is more expensive.) Several good restaurants up block in indoor mall.

While we were at the Confortel Atrium we toured in and around Madrid. The hotel is located a short distance from the central city and is located near major freeways so travel to outlying areas is not that difficult.
Nice, comfortable hotel that is sleek and minimalist- yet quite comfortable. Working there were friendly and professional staff whose English skills were appreciated.
The restaurant was about the only drawback. The breakfast was about $22 and was terribly European with cheeses, cured meats, breads, and some fruit. I thought that canned fruit cocktail did not belong on a $22 breakfast buffet. Lunch and dinner menus were a little better, but overall I'd advise skipping this restaurant. Most food did not appear to be made on premise and it showed.

I found this to be a pleasant surprise. For the price, it was terrific. The hotel is relatively new and contemporary with minimalist decor. The marble bathroom was well equipped with travel products including shaver, tooth brush, etc. The flat screen tv was small but adequate. One of the reasons I selected this hotel was the airport shuttle. Unfortunately, I was given the fax number for the hotel and could not call from the airport to be picked up. Be sure to get the right phone number as taxis are expensive.

It is very good hotel, if it was * * * one. The accommodation is not very good. The rooms are OK, but there were all kind of noises coming from every wear. We could hear the people taking a shower, speaking on the phone or watching TV. The privacy was missing.

We stayed at 4 hotels this trip to Europe. High Tech was the most modern including a laptop computer, fancy multiport shower with tanning lights if desired, generous bathroom and room compared to the other Europe hotels. Very friendly employees at the front desk, great location with easy walk to Metro, modern, comfortable rooms.
Airport shuttle was not running mid-day (only morning and evening and they ask that you arrange ahead of time), so I took the public bus -- very, very easy.
Was surprised they were charging 10 Euros for 24 hours of wi-fi.

Not a great location if you want to visit Madrid easily, but great for a quick trip to the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything at this hotel was modern, and even the bedding smelled fresh and clean. Hotel dining prices are high and there are only a few places within walking distance (OK, but not a gourmet dining experience). We had some issues with the morning shuttle, but they were quickly resolved. Just make sure your shuttle reservation is made early and clearly notes the number of people you are traveling with.

The Novotel Hotel in Madrid was very neat and comfortable. It would have been nicer if the bathroom was separate from the sink so that one person can use the sink while the other is using the bathroom. There was plenty of space for hanging clothes but not enough to put 2 suitcases. The location was good, only a few blocks away from the metro station.

Unique, modern styling, very classy, with automatic
window shade controls and lighting controls built into the headboard of the beds.
Staff were bilingual which was very helpful.
The restaurant had interesting food but we were
disappointed to be unable to get a table outside.
The wakeup call was perfect and shuttle back and forth to the airport ran on time.

The hotel is in a quiet suburb of Madrid. The price offer was the main attraction. The nearby shopping center was a great surprise. Moving to the nearest metro station needed a 20 minute walking or a taxi.

El hotel y el servicio, exelentes, pero por la ubicación se pierde mucho tiempo para llegar, y eso en un viaje no es bueno por lo demás todo perfecto.-

Chambre assez grande, salle des bains tres design mais avec un tres fort odeur tres desagreable, bon petit dejeuner et le personnel tres correct.

Hotel was great for an airport hotel. It was very clean and has a great outdoor area with a pool which would be good for the summer. The staff was very friendly. They also have a free shuttle that runs to the airport. That was great. There is a great park across the street which was good because I was traveling with a young child and I was able to take him for a walk. Bad thing is it is in a business area so you have to walk pretty far to find food outside the hotel (the hotel food is very expensive). I had to walk about 10 minutes to find food (there is a gas station with a restaurant, McDonlds, and an El Corte Ingles. But overall I thought it was a perfect hotel for our one day layover in Madrid.
