It's downtown, on the beach and across the street from the only skyscraper (14 stories) in town. Near lots of good restaurants - has an outdoor pool (it was too cold that weekend) and a tiny gym.

From the moment you arrive you know that you made a great choice! Excellent location, great food and extra friendly staff. You are right smack in the middle of Playa Blanca!!! Other than spotty wi-fi and the lack of an ironing boar and iron my stay was perfect!

My partner and I thought that this was an exception hotel in Lanzarote. The food was fresh and plentiful and top that with it being directly on the beach it was a perfect location. The resort itself I expect can be really busy in the peak season but it was quiet when we were there. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Très bien situé au bord d'une longue plage. Grande chambre classique sans grande fantaisie mais avec vue sur la mer.
Repas sous forme de buffets copieux, variés et de qualité. Personnel irréprochable. Des spectacles en soirée pour ceux qui le désirent mais qui ne troublent pas le calme de cet hôtel.
Un séjour très agréable.

We only stayed here for one night. The reception was very friendly and efficient. It's a large hotel at the outskirts of Costa Teguise and we didn't have time to try out all the facilities. In the brief time we spent there it was a positive experience

Described as a family hotel but more like a very kid-friendly hotel, especially below school-age kids. We went outside of main half-term but still suffered screaming kids around and in the pools, running around the echo-chamber reception area, and generally kicking off in the dining room - parents didn't seem to care (bless 'em!). Perhaps I'm too old in the tooth, but I still believe that 'children should be seen and not heard!'
Also, pigeons were constantly picking from food covered serving spoons at the outside 'bland' buffet, despite everything being cold and soggy.Either shoot the birds or install chain/net screens around the food area.

Stayed here in November 2009 and loved it so much we returned in March 2010. Check-in was quick and easy. The apartments are spacious and spotless. The food was great with plenty of choice. I am told the pool is freezing though!
Not suitable for 'party animals'. But definitely suited to couples and families. I would highly recommend Lanzarote Bay Apartments.
Also, the weather was fabulous so all in all we had a brilliant time!

Don't know where this hotel got 4 stars. My son had three rooms before he finally got settled. The smell was so bad (sewer) in his room we could get it by walking out onto our balcony. When he complained they gave him a can of floral bug spray and suggested sending up housekeeping. They asked him to wait until the morning and they would put him in a new room, he probably would have died from the fumes, but alas another problem. The dead bolt on his door got stuck in the lock position, he could not get out of his room. We had to lift over all of their luggage into our room over the balcony. He then got another room that night but had to move again the next day into a similar room which he had on check in. This was just the first day. The beds felt like you were sleeping on box springs and the food left much to be desired. They had one brand of wine which was awful and othere bar drinks were watered down. We ended up going to Supermarket and bought our own wine. Some much for all inclusive. We ate out most days except for breakfast. We ended up hiring a car because we were too far away from everything except the marina (this was about a 2 mile walk if you were healthy enough to climb the hills). Overall we made the most of it but would never go back or recommend to anyone. I must point out that we travel quite alot, have been to many all inclusives, holiday resorts and been on over ten cruises and have never had such a bad experience.

If I were to describe this establishment in one phrase, it would be "lack of class." Now I knew what I was getting into when I signed up for a resort, but what I didn't expect was for "all inclusive" not to really mean "all inclusive." I had no issue with paying extra for the nicer dinner, but I did have an issue with the details. For instance, I had to rent a key to the hotel room safe. Yes, rent, not just put down a deposit. This could have been a mediocre establishment had they not tried to pinch the pennies.
Description
The Rubicon Palace is an hotel in tipical canarian style. Allocated directly at the sea frond with nice views to the islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. The nearest beach is at 800 meteres. 3,5 km to the centre of Playa Blanca and 7 km to the Papagayo beaches. The various amenities provided are high speed internet ( 1 euro for 10 minutes), free parking, spa services, handicap rooms, pool(6), wireless internet, conference facilities, restaurant and smoke free property. Thalasso centre, Pub Beefeater, a la carte restaurant ¨Venecia¨ minibar and safe are not included.

Vous semble-t-il normale de faire porter un bracelet aux clients d'un Palace pour identifier le type de prestation à laquelle ils ont doit? D'autre part, pour ceux qui n'ont pas ce fameux bracelet, il ne sont pas clairement informé de ce à quoi ils ont droit.
Dans le cas de la demie pension (sans bracelet) le prix des boissons (verre de vin ou eau) n'est indiqué nul part

We opted for the Privilege deal which we found excellent value. We were able to dine in the smart restaurant away from the madding crowd. Having said that the hotel site is so well designed and landscaped with accommodation spread far and wide and four or five swimming pools that one always had the feeling of space and almost isolation. The promenade along the front "walks" you into Playa Blanca and is a very pleasant long stroll. We found the staff generally really friendly and helpful. We did hire a car from the airport which was really useful for touring the island on wet and windy days.

the location is quite good near the harbour in the old town however it is on a very steep hill and can be very slippy. The accomadation itself was quite nice and clean.

no recomendable para personas con poblemas de desplazamiento ni con maletas muy cargadas. Los apart. estan escalonados y abiertos en abanico. Buena vista. Recomiendo los superiores (eso implica subir 4 pisos), se tiene mejor vista e intimidad en la terraza o bien, pedir los extremos

El hotel está un poco apartado del núcleo de Playa Blanca y se echa en falta que esté un poco más cerca para ir caminando hasta allí. No obstante, se trata de un mal menor ya que alquilar coche es casi obligado si se quiere tener libertad de movimientos

Nous avons été déçu de l'emplacement de notre villa. En effet, elle était situé juste devant les poubelles et derrière la réception et à côté du parking.
Cuisine grasse mais n'est ce pas typiquement espagnol ?!
La douche fuyait le long de la baignoire ce qui inondait la salle de bain.Nous avons dû trouver un stratagème avec des serviettes de bains faisant office de digue pour éviter de glisser en sortant de la baignoire.
Le créneau horaire du dîner est un peu court ( 18h30 - 21H00).
Mention spéciale pour la jolie "barmaid" brune qui était très sympa.
