I am appalled that this hotel can charge the prices that they do. Yes, this Ibiza during the height of tourism season, I understand.
Although we are a young group ourselves, we were surprised at how disrespectful of property the other young people who stay in this hotel are. They were loud, drunk, and causing disruptions in the hallway. Ibiza is one of the party capitals of the world, but my sister and I would never imagine causing such a ruckus in the hotel. The club is one thing, the hotel is another.
It took a long time for the cleaning service to come to our room (not until after 4pm). Another general observation was that the water that came out of our tap was salt water. The internet was very expensive, I felt completely robbed. Something like 5 Euro for 20 minutes. Breakfast and an additional meal were included in the price, but it was not very good food. The bar in the hotel was reasonably priced though and made very strong drinks – a definite plus considering how expensive Ibiza is!
When we checked in, the extra bed (there were 3 of us) was not properly configured, so we had to ask to have that done. They did it promptly, which was nice of them. When my sister and I went to the beach and wanted to rent umbrellas and towels, we were told we had to put down a 20 euro deposit. We rented everything on the beach instead. You'll have to put down a deposit for everything at the hotel, including the remote control.
The proximity to the beach was probably the only nice thing about the hotel. Space was also right across the street, but the tickets the hotel offered were not very discounted.
Overall, this hotel was more like a hostel with separate bathrooms.

Located on the wide sandy beach bay of Cala Tarida, this magnificent and spacious four-star family club is made up of ground-floor and two-storey studios that sit amid lush gardens. Small bars and restaurants dot the area around the hotel, which is only 7 km from San Jose and about 10 km from San Antonio. Also nearby are the airport and the golf course, which are just 20 km and 25 km away, respectively. Amazing hotel. Am glad i found this hotel for my trip to ibiza..it make my stay so wonderful and perfect. Staff are so helpful. And i got a seaview room overlooking the st antonio port..so breathaking...the food in the hotel is so good...u get everything fresh and with lotsa choices...100% for this hotel.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. The location is perfect the food is 1st class and it is absolutely spotlessly clean. I intend to return the same time next year on another girly weekend but will probably stay a few days longer. Excellent!!

The hotel was in a bad location. I went for the ultimate club experience and spent over 30 euros each way to go into town where the clubs were. The rooms had paper thin walls and all I heard was kids screaming, crying, and people moving furniture.
The staff was friendly and tried their best to accomodate my inability to speak Spanish. I would not recommend staying here if you are single, young, and on the Island of Ibiza to party. You can buy your tickets for a discounted rate at the desk so do not buy them at the club or online before traveling to Ibiza.
Oh and there is no beach....unless you consider lava rock/rock shelf a beach. The beach is a long walk away when you get to the boardwalk. There you will find young people, Cafe Del Mar, and Cafe Mambo. Just to let you know the DJs that play at Pacha that night play at Cafe Mambo first. There is also not a fitness center as I had read in a review before I went.
ATMs are called cash machines and are very hard to find on the island. Be prepared to bring double what you would normally spend on a trip. Cabs are expensive, and the drinks in the clubs are outrageous. In the club a bottle of water is 7 euro and a mixed drink 18-22 euro!
If you are young and want to have a good time and be around resturants, and shops stay in Ibiza town.

Good quiet hotel close to all the action

We only stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and we loved every minute. At night time the hotel is very quiet, so you can get a good night sleep. Everywhere is kept clean and the staff seem very happy to help. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food and all of it was good and fresh. Old Ibiza town is a short taxi ride away as are the nightclubs.

was ok...nothing to rave about...avoid the all inclusive if you are not the family type as can be used only by the pool-side which is full of families. If you are a family may be a good choice of hotel...otherwise avoid.

It's an all out buffet, with all different types of foods including that's so delicious, including chefs making ready to order food, great desserts, and the works. Even though we were in Ibiza, this was one of the things we looked forward to in the morning and during the day. For the hotel, it's a good value no frills hotel in a great area. The hotel pool area has a door that is directly on the beach. There are also many beautiful beaches that are only a 20 minute boat ride from this area, and the main dock for all of these beaches is just a 3-5 minute walk from this hotel. There are also a lot of day spots and night life spots all around this hotel. The staff is also very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again!

The staff was friendly and addressed all needs. The hotel is located on San Antonio beach. The rooms are spacious and have good air-conditioning . The food was amazing. The pool is very nice and you can walk out of the pool onto the beach. There are clubs and shops right outside the bar and nice restaurants a few blocks away but you wont need them dinner and breakfast are included with the rooms. There isn't any complaints that I had with this hotel. I would definantly stay there again. I am from Houston Texas

Don't stay at Cala Gracio

We spent 5 nights in July 2011 at the Cala Gracio Hotel. We chose the all in formula.
- Stains in the bathroom weren't removed. The cleaning lady only made up the beds.
- Hard flat pillows. There was a pillow menu on the bedside table with a wide choice of pillows. So the first night I decided to ask the reception a pillow from the pillow menu. Apparently I was the first hotel guest who ever asked for it; they never heard of this service although they promote it in the rooms. So we had to sleep on the flat pillows during our stay.
-You have to pay for a remote control?
- Rather expensive internet. This is 2011, it should be a free service now if you promote yourself as a modern deluxe hotel. Don't offer a pillow menu, when there isn't any other pillow than the hard flat ones!!!
- We chose this adult only hotel to relax. But animators let children play on the tennis court next to the "adult only pool"... bye bye silence.
-The sunbeds near the pool are packed and it's difficult to find a free spot.
- The restaurant of the hotel next door looks like a school refectory, but the one at Cala Gracio isn't any better. It's lacking atmosphere: the place is deadly silent, no background music, waiters aren't motivated or friendly, the cook obviously has no inspiration... The choice of food is horrible: every day the same frozen meals like lasagna, pizza, french fries, burger...
Once the orange juice at breakfast was sour and the bacon was burnt.
After 2 days we gave up hoping for better food and went to local restaurants for lunch and dinner.
- Cocktails from the bar are terrible: mojitos aren't freshly shaken or made with fresh limes or mint, but come from a bottle (and so is the piña colada).
-If you want to stay in a hotel where you are just a number and can drink mediocre beer in plastic cups as from 9a.m. this is definitely a place to stay. If you are expecting a relaxing holiday, nice food, and friendly service please stay somewhere else.

So let me break it down for anyone who wants to stay here.
1. Cala Gracio is very much a part of the larger hotel that is right next door, Hotel Tanit. Guests at Cala Gracio use the reception desk, dining room, and any other ammenities that the other hotel offers. Plus you can use cala gracio's pool and its more intimate dining room.
2. the staff is very friendly!!
3. you can buy dicount club tickets at the hotel(hotel tanit reception desk)
4. all inclusive INCLUDING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.
5. Cala Gracio is definitely the more intimate hotel. I would say it is more of the hotel for couples while Hotel Tanit is one for families.

Good experience overall, however the location left something to be desired. The 20min walk to the main part of town & bus station became wearing. However, great pool (bring your own towel), nice staff (although not the most helpful), clean rooms. The hotel sells club tickets which was convenient. There was a mix of people, mostly between 20-30s which made it more fun. Several good/cheap restaurants near by to grab a quick meal.

Siamo stiati all'hotel Ereso per 15 gg nel mese si Agosto 2009 e devo dire che il soggiorno è stato veramente piacevole. Abbiamo scelto la mezza pensione per poter girare l'isola. Il personale è cortese e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato bene con cibi variegati e dolci in abbondanza. La pulizia delle camere e delle parti comuni era buona. Unico neo l'animazione: era solo in inglese, per quelli che non conoscevano bene la lingua inglese non era facile poter partecipare alle attività. La posizione dell'hotel è buona. A 2 passi da un piccolo porticciolo con serivzio di collegamento diretto con formentera anche se il viaggio è lungo e il ritorno 6 costretto a farlo max per le 17.00 (troppo presto!!). A 2 passi dall'hotel c'è una stazione bus che ti collega direttamente con l'aeroporto e con Sant'eulalia dalla quale è possibile raggiungere le principali località dell'isola. La spiaggia che si trova vicino all'hotel è carina ma l'acqua non è il massimo, c'è molta schiuma e chiazze di sporco.

Fijn hotel voor gezinnen met kinderen. Nadeel als je een 2 persoon-kamer boekt : geen koelkast op kamer. Bedden liggen niet heel lekker, erg hard,
Fijne omgeving maar wel veel trappen lopen, dus minder geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn.
Voor jongeren die graag naar discotheek gaan of willen stappen adviseer ik niet in Portinaxt te boeken maar meer richting Ibiza-stad.

Port Balansat's apartments complex overlooks San Miguel Port's large beach and it is ideal for family holidays with all necessary facilities at hand and Ibiza's night life less than half an hour away by car. You will find in the beach a scuba-diving school, windsurf, water-ski, trips in banana boats, pedal boats and glass bottom boats. Near by there are also tennis courts, mini-golf, bars and cafes, in addition to Can Marca fascinating coves. The apartments were clean and tidy however they are in need of modernising, the facilities such as swimming pools etc. were basic but well maintained.
Most staff are very helpful however asking people to leave at exactly 12pm even if they are watching a tv program seems a tad rigid for a holiday resort.
The apartments are in an excellent location right on the beach of Port San Miguel, this area is strictly for families and people in search of a quiet holiday.

Great Location in San Antonio Beach - Clean Room - Good Accommodations... Only downfall is the noise and difficulty sleeping at times. I party and can sometimes be loud, but there are many super obnoxious individuals that stay here!!!

The pool, surroundings, location and cleanliness were all very good. The food was horrible. We could not eat there except for some breakfast - muffins, coffee and cereal. The dinner left us hungry and we had to find a local cafe to eat, which was an extra cost. The grocery stores are very limited for food.

Bel hôtel avec une très grande piscine, accès direct à la plage! Nous avions une chambre style petit appartement équipée de la clim+petit frigo, grand lit+grand sofa,TV LCD, accès direct à la piscine(Ch.N° 6004).Grand choix au buffet pour le petit déjeuner et le souper . Un petit effort de qualité sur le café, les viennoiseries ,les jus de fruit aux distributeurs et les fruits frais serait bien vu!!
Un grand merci à toute l'équipe d'animateur pour leur gentillesse et leur volonté de faire participer tout le monde!! Ils sont vraiment formidable! Tout les soirs une animation et spectacle! Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances!!

El apartahotel esta bien calidad/precio, no dan jabón ni nada de neceser, está amueblado con poco gusto, en el salón hay una mininevera bajo de la tele colgada de un soporte. Recepción abierta 24h. Es tranquilo. Si volvería.

*Good location, right on the beach
*Hotel is good, little kitchen was nice to have.
*Little Super Market in the lobby of the hotel was very convenient.
*Night entertainment was kind of cheesy, more suitable for kids. Bingo was fun! The entertainment lasts until midnight, pretty lound can hear it in the room.
*If possible get All Inclusive it will prob. be worth it!
