The Bellavista actually does have a beautiful view of Girona, the valley, and the mountains in the background.
I don't know why this hotel is only four stars, it's as good or better than most five star hotels I've been in during my travels.
The rooms are spacious, modern, and quiet. Very much like a small apartment, sans kitchen.
The restaurant, Numum, is one of the best I've been to in Europe, and the prices are reasonable.

The Meliá Girona 4* hotel is located in the commercial district of Girona. Just 7 km from the airport, with easy access from the A-7 highway (exit 7), half way between Barcelona and Perpignan. Close to the monumental city center, the Jewish Quarter, Art Museum, Archaeological Museum, Cathedral and Arab Baths. 10 minutes from the Banyoles Lake. 20 minutes from the Romanesque village of Besalú and half an hour from the Salvador Dalà Museum. Just 30 minutes from the Roman ruins in Ampurias and the Costa Brava. 1 hour distance from the Pyrenean ski slopes.

Troisème séjour. Toujours très bon rapport qualité/prix. Par contre, le garage/parking reste un des pires d'Espagne (qui en compte, pourtant, beaucoup). Sauf à utiliser un vélo, se garer relève de l'exploit. Possesseurs de 4x4, passez votre chemin. Et l'usage de ce parking improbable coûte, tout de même, 14 Euros, la nuit...

Excellent location; close to the railway station and on the bus route to the city centre. Family rooms available, which are not always easy to find. Very well appointed hotel, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
Description
The hotel has meeting rooms with up to date equipment and capacity up to 80 people. There is also business corner with PC, printer, fax and internet connection. 0608 SN It is a modern construction in grey concrete on the outside. The entrance is found in one of the corners of the building. The lower part of the building is very different from the rest of the building making a nice contrast. This hotel is a privileged one due to its location right in the historic quarter of the city next to the town hall and the beautiful and famous bridges.

Right in the commercial center of Girona and to only 5 minutes of the old helmet, the Carlemany Hotel, unquestionably offers the best location for trips of leisure and business, allowing of discovering on foot the most interesting places of the city. Like a lot of city centre hotels the Carlemany was difficult to find by car ( due to one-way system ). Parking unerneath the hotel was expensive.
Dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent. We were sharing dishes ( to get a broad range of gastronomic experience ) and in each case the portion was halved and presented on separate plates. We appreciated this as usually the portion comes on one plate and an extra empty plate is provided for us to do the dividing ourselves.

La mejor opción si va usted a volar desde el aeropuerto de Girona temprano por la mañana. A sólo unos cuantos metros de la terminal aérea. Buen restaurante con precios razonables. Habitaciones muy limpias. No se oye ruido de aeropuerto.

Spa très sympathique, belle et grande chambre, personnel d'accueil francophone (ça fait du bien!). A savoir : une navette est présente à l'aéroport pour vous ramener à l'hôtel, je déconseille fortement le chemin à pieds.

Had a wonderful experience residing at this hotel as a stopover from Barcelona to catch our flight back to France on Ryan Air in Girona Airport. The service was top notched, the room was immaculate being very spacious with all the updated amenities (esp love the surround sound stereo in the rooms), the pool/spa center was incredible. Don't be fooled by the exterior. Inside, you will find a funky decor with friendly staff to greet you as you check in. The mini bar was well stocked with complimentary refreshments, as well as, a vending machine available 24 hrs. Love the toiletry kit and slippers provided in the rooms for the guests. The cyber corner was a bit small & you are required to put a 10 euro deposit for the pool towels, but besides that, it was perfect & just what my family needed after a tiring 7 day tour of Barcelona. The buffet isn't much to brag about but we were glad there was dining on the premises when we didn't feel like going out. Best of all, they offer shuttle service 24 hrs to the airport which was convenient since our flight was at 6 am.

Très bon accueil, bon niveau de prestation mais l'hôtel reste dans une zone de type industrielle. Heureusement le village proche(en voiture) et vraiment mignon.

Lo mejor que con la habitación te regalan dos pases para el spa del hotel.
Lo peor el desayuno, correcto pero muy sencillo para un hotel de esta categoria .
