Hay que tener en cuenta que, a pesar de ser 4*, es un hotel de playa no un hotel urbano.
Todo está orientado al trote con cierto confort, no al "lujo".
La ubicación es muy buena, a pie de playa, aunque tal vez puede ser un poco ruidosa en temporada alta

We only stayed a short time because of catching an early flight. Reception made us feel very welcome. In the morning because we weren't going to be there for breakfast they packed us a picnic to go. While the hotel is a little dated everything was clean and in good order. The pool was beautiful, too bad we were out of season.

Hotel Gardenia Park is just 3 km from Fuengirola, a pretty town on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, in the heart of Costa del Sol. You will find the comfort you seek in any of its 230 fully fitted rooms. The hotel has an outdoor pool with a children's paddling area, a pool bar, deck chairs and parasols. For an additional fee there is a sauna and a Jacuzzi available. Furthermore, various sporting activities are on offer such as water aerobics, aerobics, table tennis, archery, beach volleyball and pool. The hotel prides itself on its international seasonal day and evening entertainment programme for adults. Children aged between 4 and 12 years will enjoy the fabulous kids' club. The amenities provided by the hotel is bar, currency exchange, doctor on call, gift shop, laundry service, lift/elevator, lobby, reception, safe deposit box and solarium.

Description
Hotel Hostal Marbella is a small hotel managed for a swedish couple with 25 rooms. The hotel has 4 floors with elevator and the majority of the rooms have balcony or terrace. If you bring your own laptop it's possible to use the WI-FI for free in the whole Hotel. All rooms are newly renovated and have A/C, heating, Satellite TV, safe and bathroom ensuite. Reception is open since 08:00 a.m. until midnight. All the staff is multilingual and all speak English to give you the best service possible. On the ground floor there is a newly renovated lounge-bar where we serve breakfast and all kinds of drinks. On the roof, we have also a nice terrace where to take sunbathes, read or have a drink.

Good rate, friendly service, comfy bed, plenty of hot water. Ideally situated for beach, train, bus, bars and restaurants. Not my first stay, probably not my last. Recommended.

Comfortable and carismatic hotel, renewed in 2002 and situated 200 meters away from the beach and a few minutes away from the center of Fuengirola.Its recently renewed rooms offer satellite TV, air-conditioning, security safe, telephone and complete bathroom.Restaurant with international cuisine, café, pool bar, reading room, TV room, pool.Restaurant service: buffet.

This hotel comes highly recommended for all types of travellers, especially tour groups, as Mijas is the ideal base from which to explore all of Andalusia. Hotel completely renovated to a high standard (11/07 iv) Modern looking building in Andalusian style. Exterior pool. In the middle of the Costa del Sol, 25 kilometres from Malaga and Marbella and 4 kilometres from the centre of Fuengirola. This hotel is located on a hill overlooking the sea, some 4 kilometres from the beach and very close to the perfectly conserved Andalusian village of Mijas.
