Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war gut. Anständiges Frühstücksbuffet und immer wieder aufgefüllt. Gute Lage des Hotels, nicht direkt im Zentrum. Ist jedoch in 5 Gehminuten an der La Rambla, oder bei einer Metrostation.
Vom Hoteldach hat man eine Rundumsicht über ganz Barcelona

Decent room but BE AWARE OF BATHROOM!

The Barcelo Sants is a cool hotel. Located directly above the Sants train station, although you'd never know it. The room was very quiet. The rooms look like an ad for IKEA. The bed was big and comfortable although they didn't change our sheets in 6 days of staying there. Also, the toilet is located in little closet steps from the bed and door is sliding door that doesn't seal the room at all. So if you are traveling with a companion...better be pretty "comfortable" with one another because you will hear every noise that happens in there! Luckily, I was with my wife, so no big deal. But for those that are "toilet shy", be warned. Beyond those things, no real complaints. Perfect place for access to Metro, busses or trains. We got in from train from Madrid and within a few mins we were in our room. That's nice. Every day we were exploring the town using the metro that stops right there. So that comes in handy. We'd definitely return here.

The location couldn't be any better- right at a convenvient Metro line, close to the water and the Gothic quater, and lots of restaurants. No hair conditioner or iron, though. And the desk staff was often overwhelmed and it took a long time to get to the front of the line. The A/C worked really well, very quiet room on the back of the building. Internet worked well. Breakfast was lovely. We would definitely stay there again.

Perhaps I might have felt differently if I weren't traveling alone--in a smallish room with a smallish bed at the Best Western Dante. The Dante's breakfast was superior. I wouldn't stay again.

There is no airport shuttle

The hotel was easy to find and beautiful. The only frustration we had was that our reason for choosing this hotel was because this site claimed it had a shuttle to the airport. We were angry when the front desk told us it did not. This added stress to the end of a fun trip.

I stayed one night at this stylish hotel. Location was good and right next to metro giving access to all tourist attractions in Barcelona. Food was good at the restuarant and service was great!
Pool on rooftop is too small so if you go there for the pool, you will be disappointed as it fits 4-6 people at a time an it is more like a bathtub/jaccuzi.

Der Service war sehr gut, das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag sauber und liebevoll hergerichtet. Vom Hotel aus, hat man innert 3 Gehminuten eine Metro-Station wo man eine Direkte Verbindung mit der L3 zu den Hauptplätzen hat. Wenn man mit dem Bus vom Flughafen anreist, sind es etwa 5 Minuten Gehweg vom Plaça Espanya entfernt. Einfacher ist es natürlich mit dem Taxi, dies Kostet vom Flughafen aus ca. 30.-€.
Ich kann dieses Hotel mit gutem Gewissen jedem weiterempfehlen.

L’hôtel est parfait, la piscine sur le toit, le spa dans les combles sont juste magnifiques. Le SPA est vraiment super agréable après une longue journée de ballade, ça fait tellement de bien.
Dommage que la chambre soit trop petite mais je recommande quant même.

Et vraiment pas déçu! Très bel hôtel de très bonne qualité et situé directement sur la Rambla. Si vous désirez faire du shopping c'est idéal. La Marina et l'aquarium sont à 15min à pied. Il faut juste penser à de mander un chambre sur le côté si on veut pas devoir se coucher trop tard... En même temps on est à Barcelone!
En résumé, quand on reviendra ce sera au H1898!

Auf den ersten Blick war das Apartment sehr sauber. Die Küchengeräte waren dann aber entweder so stark verschmutzt oder gar schimmlig, dass sie nicht gebraucht werden konnten. Die Lage für Städtereisende ist zentral, somit ist man mit der Metro (direkt vor der Tür) rasch am gewünschten Punkt. Die Strasse, welche direkt vor dem Haus ist, ist starkt befahren und deshalb ist es recht laut. Im grossen und ganzen ist das Apartment für eine Städtereise ok, da man ja den Tag durch nicht da ist.

We stayed here for a weekend - the apartment is extremely convenient for both the hop on hop off bus and for the metro and is in a quiet area. The apartment itself is very well-equipped and clean if a little spartan in appearance (I guess that's the designer look!). The 24-hour check-in worked perfectly, the receptionist was extremely helpful and we would very happily stay here again. I would recommend it to anyone!

Excellent hotel, within 100m of Monumental Metro station and main bus route into the main part of town. Has a small supermarket opposite to get drinks / food.
Hotel itself is quite small (36 rooms) which is perfect as it is quite quiet. Hotel staff really friendly and knowledgeable. They also have electric adaptors and free wifi internet which is great and useful. Clean rooms, well presented generally.
Didn't go for breakfast option as was 12euro per person per day, decided to just buy crossiant and juice from a supermarket opposite for 2euro. Hotel does provide free coffee in room so it's perfect.
Great location to explore Sagrada Famille, our favourite part of the city. Some lovely restaurants around there too.
Overall, excellent choice for a hotel.

Très propre. SdeBain petite mais nickelle.
Nous y retournerons et le conseillons à la famille et aux amis.
Seul petit bé mol : les chaines tv ne sont qu'en espagnol (pour les infos uniquement)

Great small cute hotel in an excellent location.
Of course, the single rooms are tiny and the beds are smaller than twin size mattresses in US, but these room&bed dimensions are quite common in most big cities in Europe, so no problem.

Das Hotel liegt ca. 500 m von der La Rambla Einkaufsstrasse und von Katalnischen Platz entfernt. Mit der U-Bahn kann in kurzer Zeit die Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht werden. Das Hotel selbst entspricht dem beschriebenen Umfang. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Comodo alla metro ma in un quartiere invaso da brutta gente, retrostante un ghetto molto pericoloso!!! Camere fronte strada molto rumorose!!! Pulizia molto buona ma camere piccole. Servizi dell'hotel vari ma poco curati (Idro, palestra e sauna vecchi). Molto buona la disponibilita' del personale sempre presente.

Un peu éloigné des Ramblas mais la station de métro est proche.
Le SPA est petit mais très bien équipé dommage qu'il ne soit ouvert que jusqu'à 21h.
Nous ne recommandons pas par contre le petit déjeuner qui est extrêmement cher (13 euros) pour une qualité médiocre (beurk le café!).

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, Metro und Bustationen fast neben dem Eingang! Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal freundlich. Wer die Stadt gerne besichtigen möchte und nicht viel Zeit im Hotelzimmer verbringt ist am richtigen Ort!

The hotel was excellent in every respect. The location could not be better...overlooking Las Ramblas and near Placa Catalunya and near metro/bus lines. The room was modern and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. Food in adjacent restaurant (part of hotel) was very good and reasonable. My wife and I could not have asked for better.

We arrived late and had a comfortable room but next to a lift shaft which kept us awake all night - then we had a plumbing nightmare the next night in a change of room in the great flood of 2012. Sounds bad but the hotel did their very best to try and sort things out and did really well! a very good hotel and despite the problems would recommend as they did everything they could in very difficult circumstances

If you love ancient part of the city this hotel has perfect location. Just few steps to the Medieval streets and walking distance to La Rambla etc. Hotel is small -- about 50 rooms. Staff on reception is very friendly and welcoming. Frankly I've never seen any other staff but room has been cleaned daily. I have never had their breakfast because there are a lot of restaurants around.
This was our first time in Barcelona and we spent most of the time outside so the room size and amenities was not a priority. However, rooms are so small that it was hard to pack two suitcases in a time. The sound insulation have a lot of potential for improvement.
The hotel provides free WiFi in rooms, but you have to login every time and every device have to have a separate password. It is a bit annoying.
Overall impression -- good location friendly environment but small and some disturbance from neighbors.

Hotel ist bestens gelegen !besser gehts nicht denke ich !alle anbindungen in der nähe (metro,aerobus,...) das personal gibt top sightseeing tipps und gutscheine für restaurants bei nachfrage!! wer ein bisschen geschickt ist sucht sich zum frühstück ein kleines "restaurant" in den schönen seitenstraßen !! Frühstück für 2 = 6€ / wer suchet der findet ;-) unbedingt an der rezeption nach einer stadtkarte fragen - besser als alle reiseführer

Staff at reception were really good - very helpful and friendly.
The only criticism I have is about the food available at the bar upstairs. Given the wonderful food we had had in Barcelona, the choice was limited. Also, when we went up, there were no staff there and we had to go back down to the front desk to check

Small quality hotel with very good customer service. A personal touch and good location only round the corner from Las Ramblas and across the road from the marina. Marina is well worth a visit. It has a good indoor shopping centre and eating places.
