This hotel was extremely good. The location was ideal, the staff were excellent. The breakfasts were full of variety and a great start to the day. The rooftop terrace was especially good as the views from there are wonderful.
Our room was pretty good, if small. The only criticism I would have is that the pillows were not comfortable at all.
We would use this hotel again and recommend it to others.

Nice and tidy. Friendly staff and very nice breakfast.
There was one irritating fact, the wireless internet didn't work very well.
Some times it was impossible to get a connection, sometimes you did get a connection.
Today I expect a very well working Internet connection when i stay in a hotel.

Great place to stay. Dont get confused thinking that like most BCN area tourist class hotels, that breakfasts are included. At this one, it isn't. Don't open the mini bar, and you won't be charged. Even if you attempt to look, front desk knows.
Keep these two things in mind, and you'll be in good shape.

Great Location Luxury Hotel

We stayed for one night prior to boarding our Cruise at the adjacent Port. When we checked in, we found that our room's air conditioning did not work. I went downstairs and spoke face-to-face with the gentleman who had checked us in about he problem. Two and a half hours later, nothing had been done. At this point my wife and I proceeded to go out for dinner. As we walked through the lobby, once again I spoke face-to-face with the same gentleman and advised him we still had no air conditioning. I stated to him that if it was not rectified by the time we returned, I would expect to be relocated to another room. When we returned, he was no where to be found. His replacement, a young woman, listened to my story and Immediately reassigned us to an upgraded room with full service. Although the situation was rectified, we should never have had to deal with this delay and inconvenience, therefore I can only rate this Property as "Good" overall.

This hotel was overall worth the money and was very nice. However, our first night there, the hotel lost power from 3am until 1pm the next day. The elevators were down and we had to climb 17 flights of stairs to get to our room and then were stuck up there with no food, power, etc until 1pm the next day. The room was very small but managable. Concierge and the front desk staff were very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast buffet was not worth the money. Overall, a fine hotel for the money.

The Hotel is located in a very up-market area near to excellent shops and many restaurants, and is close to Passeig to Gracia station, which has direct train connection to airport. We asked for and were given a quiet room. The breakfasts are excellent, although expensive at 18 euros. The meals at the hotel are delicious. I can't fault anything about this hotel.

My daughter and I spent 5 days at the H10 Casanova and it was great. The overall decor and feel of the hotel is modern and clean even though the exterior of the building is charming and older in line with the neighborhood. The amenities are above average, but if you have thick or long hair you probably want to bring your own hair dryer because the one provided isn't much better than air drying (I find that is typical for hotel-provided dryers in Europe). The location was great for walking or hopping on the metro and staff were helpful. Our room was on the main street so was noisy late into the evening but I had earplugs along so that wasn't a problem either. Most important, the beds were comfortable and that makes all the difference on vacation!

Great location. Took bikes to beach which is 5 minutes. Right in the Gothic section so food and shopping was superb. Hotel has a pool bar on the roof with fantastic views of Barcelona. It was too cold to swim but we were able to lie out in the sun by the pool and read our books. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The hotel is located in a great location very close to the subway and touristy areas. It is a short walk to many different great restaurants around the area.

The main reason for the trip is to get spa treatments in the hotel. It was plus having the hotel right next to the beach and port. Nice options next to the hotel for restaurants. The consierge was real helpful with any questions we might have in regards to good within the area to try for whichever evening we wanted to go eat. I love this HOTEL! I can't find anything I would want better. Everything was perfect.

Pretty much everything was great about this hotel. At the price point, I doubt there's much in Barcelona that can beat it. The pool and back garden area were very nice, but the jacuzzi was barely above luke-warm and the sauna did not work well. The only other problem was that they charged for extra towels. What is that about?
The room itself was very clean and normal size. Not huge by any means, but for a 3-star, its about par for the course. The beds aren't the most comfortable, but not bad by any means. The staff is what made the stay for me. They were extremely friendly and always willing to help. Definitely would stay there again just for that reason.

Liked it enough to go back. Chic, comfortable, compact and convenient but surprisingly no tea or coffee making in room. Easy delicious and economical snack breakfasts available from the bakery shops just around the corner. If you have time take a look at the free access "swimming" pool on the roof of sister hotel Majestic LOL but worth an evening visit just for the humour, a drink and the view.

The hotel is located inside an old building which seems to have been toally gutted leaving only the two walls facing the street. The interior design is totally contemporary. The water closet is in a closet, but the rest of the bathroom, including the shower is partially open to the rest of the room. Our shower was especially funky in that you could open the blinds to the interior courtyard and essentially be showering in public. The hotel was comfortable, included a just OK breakfest but was very expensive. Still it was a fun place to be and well located to gay venues in Barcelona.

Impossible de profiter de la piscine : personne pour remettre serviettes ou peignoires (pas dans la chambre).

Sehr gutes Essen im Hotel, grosse Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet. Das Zimmer ist stilvoll eingerichtet, grosses und helles Bad mit sicht aufs Meer... Negativ war die nicht so grosse Ablagefläche im Badezimmer. Balkon hat leider gefehlt. Der Lift im Hotel ist wirklich cool aber die langen Wartezeiten dafür weniger. Das Hotel liegt nahe bei der metro (2 min.)
und ca. 10 - 15 Fussweg vom Strand entfernt. Das Shoppingcenter Diagonal Mar befindet sich direkt neben dem Hotel. Da das Hotel nicht direkt im Zentrum liegt ist das Nachtleben nicht wirklich aktiv. Im Hotel gibt es einen PC-Raum, 2 Pool's relativ klein aber wunderschön, Fitness, Baars usw.
Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist für diesen Service einfach klasse!

This was our second hotel in Barcelona. The first one was a boutique hotel that we hated!
The NH de luc was in a great location on a quiet street but still near all the action. You can walk to many sight seeing spots! Psg de gracia (shopping), la rambla, gaudi houses, picasso museum, the metro...
I'm so glad we didn't stay on Las Ramblas street or on another main street. Those locations are dirty, touristy, and very loud.
I highly recommend this hotel. The front desk staff is helpful. WiFi free if you are using it in the hotel lobby. Across the entrance is a little mini-market and you can stock up on waters and snacks for cheap and spend the rest of your money on tapas and sight seeing.

Strandnära hotell med 2 st utmärkta pooler. Rena och fräscha rum. Hjälpsam personal. Vi bodde i ett Superior rum med balkong. Stort och rymligt badrum med badkar samt separat dusch. Nära till Olympiahamnen med flera bra restauranger. Vi kan absolut tänka oss att återvända hit.

I have just returned from a four day stay at The Pullman Skipper Barcelona.
I travelled with my daughter, sister and my daughters friend to celebrate my daughters thirtieth birthday.
The hotel is worthy of it's five star rating we had a wonderful experience.
The staff throughout the hotel were extremely helpful and curteous, nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel facilities and accommodation were first class.
Upon the day of my daughters birthday she returned to her hotel room to a surprise ie complimentary bottle of Cava, chocolates and a lovely card from the hotel staff.
This was a lovely personalised gesture that helped to make the day special.
Additionally the food was beautiful and again the service exeptional.
I highly recommend the Pullman Skipper for all round first class service, also location two minutes from the beach and approximately a twenty five minute walk to the city's main attractions.
Upon return to Barcelona i shall certainly book the Pullman Skipper.

Gute Lage aber die Zimmer hatten nicht unbedingt 4 Sterne Charakter. Die Dusche war etwas dreckig und es fehlten Kleinigkeiten wie ein Seifenhalter oder ein funktionierender Safe.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Es gab auch ein paar deutsche TV Sender mit jedoch sehr schlechter Empfangsqualität. Das Design der Rezeption wirkt unterkühlt.
Insgesammt empfehlenswert wenn man keine 4Sterne erwartet und zahlt.

Op 10 minuten lopen van Sagra Fam., 5 min lopen metro en 15 min naar Rambla.
Prima hotel, redelijk ontbijt (12 euro pp pd).
Vervoer met taxi van/naar vliegveld prijzig (rond de 35 euro).
De rondtourbus is zeker aan te bevelen voor 2 dagen.
Bij inchecken moesten we onze handbagage afgeven (vliegtuig zat vol?). In het vliegtuig bleken er grote stukken handbagage wel aanwezig te zijn. Blijkbaar wil Vueling er een slaatje uit slaan door grote handbagage extra te rekenen, om dit vervolgens te compenseren door gewone handbagage te weigeren. Bij terugkomst een klacht ingediend, maar meer als een standaardantwoord krijg je niet. WAARDELOZE vliegmaatschappij dat VUELING.

C'est un hotel bien situé, près du métro diagonal. j'ai fait une réserve la veille de mon départ, il y avait un bonus le spa gratuit mais je n'ai pas pu en profiter car j'étais là pour des raisons non touristiques. Le personnel est aimable et donne spontanément des renseignements sur la ville. Il y a des restaurants proches et des bars à tapas beaucoup plus interressants que les restaurants à touristes du port olympic.

Bus and metro routes close by, breakfast, excelant, we will use the Barmoral again, both my wife and I are in our mid sixties,the staff were very polite and helpful.

One block from the Metro but a bit away from the main attractions of Barcelona, this boutique hotel is modern and upscale and has a friendly and delightful staff. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at the Villa Emila for a week in April 2011. It is a lovely, convenient, well-managed small hotel. We chose to stay in a room that did not face onto the street because we are sensitive to noise. The room was wonderfully quiet. (We can't say whether the rooms facing the street were also quiet.) The room was very attractive, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom well set up (shower only). The staff was warm and helpful. We had never been to Barcelona before, and were not sure whether we wanted to stay nearer the old part of Barcelona. As it turned out, we were exactly where we wanted to be. There is a subway stop at the end of a very short block, so we could get to the tourist destinations very easily; and we could come back to the quiet of our neighborhood and the hotel when we wanted to. Our only criticism (a small one) was that the hotel sprayed a kind of cleaning solution in the air when making up the rooms. But as soon as we asked at the desk (and left a note in the room), they were very good about discontinuing use of the spray in our room.
Our overall evaluation of the hotel is extremely favorable. If we ever go back to Barcelona, we will be sure to stay at the Villa Emilia.

Overall a good experience at this hotel. Room was very clean and modern and the hotel is conveniently located near the Metro. It is a bit out of the way of the center of Barcelona, but was very reasonably priced and would stay here again.

Great small cute hotel in an excellent location.
Of course, the single rooms are tiny and the beds are smaller than twin size mattresses in US, but these room&bed dimensions are quite common in most big cities in Europe, so no problem.

Iloinen ja ystävällinen henkilökunta.Saimme huoneen jossa mahtava kattoterassi näköaloilla! Ainut miinus huoneen korkea kosteus, petivaatteet ja vaatteet tuntuivat koko ajan kosteilta.

Ein doch etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel das vor allem im Sanitarberich renovierungsbedurftig ist. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut (nahe der Rambla und des Hafens) Das Personnal war freundlich und das Fruhstuck
ganz OK. Die Zimmer zur Strassenseite wenn moglich meiden, da sehr laut. 4 Sterne hat es nach meiner Meinung nicht verdient, 3 Sterne OK.

Perfect Location in Barcelona

Right off Las Ramblas, the main street in the center of Barcelona one block from the highly efficient metro, near many restaurants and bars. Internet provided but you must re-log on every 30 mins. Barcelona is a walking town (in our case the weather was perfect) and this hotel made the Gothic area as well as the shopping areas readily available. Also, do not miss the "farmers market" about a block down Las Ramblas toward the sea.
Barcelona is a great city, not to be missed. Excellent architecture of well built and well kept buildings and very clean streets. At the top of my list of world favorite cities and I have been to a large number of major cities in the world.
The Gaudi church and the Roman Ruins were my favorite visits.
