The room is clean but a bit too small. I didn't use any facilities of the hotel cause I always hang out with my friend. Anyway, I did shopping and had a lot of great meals around the hotel. The location is fantastic. It is located near the shopping and restaurant area. I can walk 2 minutes to 7-11 when I feel hungry at night. Moreover, it's pretty close to subway station where I can take trains to any places in Seoul.
What I need during my trip is internet connection for my iphone in public places. It would be much more convenient if I can find a good deal of a smart phone renting.
Even I feel like the trip price is a little bit high, but this is one of my best journey ever. Because I stayed in a good location, I can get everything done on time accordingly to my schedule.

Good for both business and pleasure. A little over priced menu items for room service like 10,000 won for soft drinks like coke. But 24 hours convenience store near by. Close to the subway station direct to Gimpo, but long walk from Gimpo station to the actual airport. Not recommended to ride the subway with heavy/many languages. The taxi ride will be a good option with cost around 38,000 (depends on traffic.) good walk to Gangnam station with a lots of restaurants and entertainment services like Karaoke, Pool bar, cat cafe, etc. on it's way. Free wifi service at the lobby and each guest room. Toilet with washlet is a plus, but the bathtub was too small to enjoy taking bath. Shampoo was for men (stinky for girls.) no conditioner, making me feel this hotel focus on male business travelers. But ok quality and con enience for grown up pleasure travelers also. Not for family with kids.

IP is a design hotel with many pretty decorations, I even found a ipod speaker in my desk. :o) The only problem is the location, the nearest subway is in line 6 so you have to transfer all the time, in addition to this, you need to walk for 5-8 min from subway to the hotel. The easiest way to go around is by taxi, after all, taxi fee is reasonable in Seoul.

Newly open after complete renovation on July 2011. 30min from Dongdaemun and Myeongdong shopping areas, 10min away from Lotte Department store, Lotte Mart, Seoul Yakryung Korean Traditional Medicine Market and Kyungdong Market. Also there are Kyunghee Univ, Korea Univ. Guests can sit back and relax or can enjoy a chat with their family, friends or with the fellow guests at the hotel's lobby. Flower Tourist Hotel also offers free internet access, free bottle of waters, laundry, lift and parking facility for travelers' convenience. After a busy day of exploring Seoul's attractions or attending meetings, guests can take rest at any of the spacious accommodation units that come with helpful amenities such as cable TV, air-conditioning, hairdryer, internet access and telephone. The other amenity includes Dry cleaning, Lobby and Reception.

Great Location! Convenient and Comfy!

This hotel was in a great location! Just down the road from a huge department store, the train station and Airport Bus #6002 (which departs every 15 minutes).
The rooms in general were clean, only the duvet was questionable - I suggest bringing your own sheets. Be advised you may get a smoking room even if you did request a non-smoking room.
The staff was friendly and helpful despite the limited English. They allowed me to store my bags for a week while I traveled around.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will return. It was exceptionally good value for the money.

好處: 房間乾淨又大, 比民宿大很多! 設備都算完善, 電視機超大, 房間有電腦, 免費上網, 什麼 body lotion, hair spray, 沐浴露...都一應俱備, 而最貼心就係有 coffee and tea, 及一大枝 distilled water, 全部免費o架. 另外, 呢度有一個女職員識講好流利o既普通話, 所以, 溝通都唔係問題. 酒店附近有好多好野食, 而且有樂天超市及樂天百貨, 超方便 (~係冇得退稅, 但就會比首爾火車站o既平~). 最最最重要就係價錢真係好便宜!
有待改善: 唔係咁近地鐵站, 要一直行十幾分鐘先到. 由於酒店正在翻新, 外牆睇都幾舊, 而且, 入口幾僻, 太夜返酒店會有啲危險~ 另外, 負責接待o既人都唔係太友善 (~唔知係唔係因為韓國人口音問題~), 會有點不耐煩~
總結: 下次來韓國, 都會揀呢間~

Right between Gangnam and Kyodae station, this provides excellent access to good restaurants, shopping areas, movie theaters, and banks. The room itself was great and comfy. The only thing that bothered me a little was noise from the highway nearby.

As pointed out by another member, the location on the map is incorrect, but the hotel can be easily found if you take the 6020 Yeoksam airport bus from ICN. Just get off at the Jinheung Apt stop (7th stop). The ticket costs 15,000W. The ride took about an hour around noon time.
The hotel would not allow early check in, but there are many coffee shops in the area (West of the hotel), closer to the National Univ of Education Station. On the East side of the hotel is Gangnam, which is a hot spot for shopping and dining. The hotel is just about in the middle, just West of the highway.
I stayed in the Crystal Suite, which is a good sized room. Since I only stayed for a day, I didn't use any of the kitchen amenities. The bathroom was clean and simple. My room faced the highway, so it was a bit noisy. The windows, even when closed, are not very sound proof.

Use Airport express to Seoul station, then use line 4 to Miasamgori, come out at exit 3, go straight, the hotel is just opposite E-mart.
Outside the hotel lift have free plain water to refill.
Not far if use subway to city area.

江南で予定があったので、そこに近いこのホテルを選びました。江南のＣＯＥＸからタクシーで約１５分弱でした。
何度かタクシーを使いましたが、分からないドライバーもいました。住所や地図を持っておくことをお勧めします。
地下鉄の駅までも徒歩１５分くらいなので、立地は良いとはいえませんが、特に問題はありませんでした。
ホテルの設備は、価格よりもかなり良いと言えます。
清潔でしたし、お洒落感もあります。
移動手段にタクシー利用で、女性の方に特にお勧めホテルです。

Location is very good for both business and leisure. Though the price is a bit steep and should provide complimentary breakfast. Many nearby eateries available at reasonable prices. Our visit happens to coincide with the lantern festival display which is very near to the hotel. The availability of the KAL bus from and to airport is another plus point for selecting this hotel.

Hotel is located near to subway and a 10 mins walk to Gangnam subway area with plenty of choices for food. Hotel staffs are helpful and speak enough English. The only hotel that we have been so far which asked for full payment upon check in though, which we thought was unusual. No safe in the room as well.

Clean, spacious, modern and well furnished rooms alone make it worthwhile for business and casual travelers who are looking to spend a lot of time in Seoul's Gang-Book area. It's actually a lot more convenient than staying at most four- or five-star hotels. The location is a bit tricky, but the subway stops aren't that far and taxis are easy to find. The cab drivers will not know the building by its name, so you need to remember some landmarks around the area (e.g., The Police Headquarters, Joong-Ang Daily Newspaper Building, etc.). Bottom line: great for short or long-term stays at a very reasonable price.

コンビニが近くに数件あったので、コンビニで買ってきたものを、部屋に置いてある電子レンジで温めたり、電気ポットを利用してカップラーメンを食べたりできました。
ホテルのコンセントは日本と同じAプラグではなかったため、携帯やデジカメの充電が必要な時は、同ホテルで使用できるプラグ(CもしくはSE）が必要だと思いました。

we arrived at Incheon Intn. Airport and simply took the only railroad/subway line to Seoul Station ( Central Railway Station in the city of Seoul ). From there take the line 1 to the next station called Namyeong - from there you find the hotel within 400 meters. Elle Inn is centrally located and close to many attractions. The Seoul City Bus will stop at the USO/nearby the Elle Inn and this bus drives tourists around for 10 USD all day long - go on and get off the bus whereever you want - great!

After reading all the bad reviews, I was wondering did I pick the wrong hotel, but when I got there, it was very different from the reviews that I read. I was close to the subways which made that better for me, very close to the shopping area and eating spots. The only thing I did not like about this hotel is that, it was kind of hard for the taxi drivers to find, and the hotel beds were a little on the discomfort side.

Although I stayed in the executive room, the room decoration is a bit old and very small. Carpet is quite dirty, thorough cleaning or replacement is definitely required. Having said that, the lcoation is superb, it is located in the heart of Myeong-dong. You may find shops and restuarants within a minute.

Only 30 minutes by subway (line 5) directly from Gimpo Airport. Very close from central Seoul. Rooms were clean and internet access was quite good. Breakfast was not included in room charge. But there is a nice bakery in the subway station. Recommendable hotel.

Great hotel in the middle of northern Seoul. Recently remodelled. Awesome, free gym. Free Internet. Nearby city hall and the Cheongye stream and right next to the City Plaza (can get noisy starting at 6:30am though, due to music).

The Plaza can truly claim to be one of the best hotels in Seoul (I have been to several others in various parts of the city).
- best hotel gym, with a real squat rack, flat bench press, and incline barbell bench press (albeit located in the next-door building. The gym + pool are free to guests though unlike some other top Seoul hotels)
- best in-hotel air quality (not a given in Korea where many "nom smoking" rooms reek of cigarettes due to poor ventilation systems).
- extremely helpful staff (a given a top Seoul hotels but not in mid/low tier)
- great, great location right next to City Hall Station
- bathrooms are intelligently designed (water escaping from the shower has been a problem at other hotel) but they should install nightlights
- can get a little noisy at night in rooms facing the main road

This hotel was exceptionally luxurious and surprisingly affordable. We already had a great deal for a standard room and they upgraded us to a deluxe room for no extra charge! Our room had floor to ceiling windows with a great city view. And the bathroom was like being in a spa. This was the tail end of our honeymoon and this was the perfect hotel to end it with!

My hotel room (a double bed) was very clean and quite nice. Internet speed was fast. The water pressure in the shower was strong (a pet peeve of mine).
In terms of location it is okay. It is a bit of a walk to Coex, but certainly not too bad. You are also quite close to Apjoojeung and there appeared to be some bars/clubs in the more immediate vicinity.
It is a little pricey for what it is, and I would probably recommend the IBIS as a better value (though the rooms are not quite as nice).

GREAT place to stay in Seoul

Our room was more like a studio apartment than a hotel room - which was wonderful as we were there for 2 weeks. We had 2 oversized twin beds (I believe there is a single full bed option if you're traveling as a couple), a desk, flat-screen TV, kitchen with full stovetop, microwave, teapot, toaster, plates & utensils, and fridge. There was a washer/dryer in the kitchen as well, and a large shower in the bathroom. There was no tub, just a shower. The room was air conditioned, clean, and had lots of storage for our clothes and luggage. There was also free high-speed internet access via firewire cable.
We purchased a multi-country outlet adaptor from amazon before our trip which was essential for plugging in our laptop. It was super cheap and worked great: http://www.amazon.com/Insten-Universal-Travel-Charger-Adapter/dp/B001MGUB9Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1312944344&sr=8-2
The staff at the front desk all speak English and were very helpful in the instances we needed a little extra help with directions to our various excursions, and arranging the occasional taxi.
The bus from Incheon airport stops right in front of the hotel - we got curbside service to/from the airport 10000 wan (approx $10) each way. So easy!
There is a 7-11 located inside the hotel as well as an Outback steak house (WAY overpriced and a bit of a weird menu) and a small Korean eatery.
The subway entrance is less than half a block away from the hotel. The location of this hotel is the best aspect of it. The subway is just a 1 minute walk out the front door. Very easy to get around Seoul from this hotel. The room was very large, about 100 square meters. The staff seemed less attentive to helping with issues that we needed but they were not completely useless.

The whole experience with the Hotel Club and stay at the Grand Ambassabor was great. Highly recommended. This was for business... not so sure about for Holiday!

スタッフの対応は非常に良いし、日本語話せるスタッフが多いので、女性の一人でも、安心、安全と受け止めました。深夜到着でしたが、なんら問題が無く良かったです。問題はタクシーが知らなくて、他のアンバサダーホテルに行ってしまうことです。韓国には多くの、アンバサダー名のホテルがあり、住所をきちんとタクシー運転手に伝えることです。他の５星のホテルより、日本語が話し出来るスタッフが沢山いるのが印象に残り、１４階のビジネスセンターの受付は特に良いですよ。安いし価格に見合うと思う。

Nice hotel at a reasonable location. 5-10 minutes walk to market and busy shopping area. Simple breakfast and if needed, staff is helpful to call taxi for us.

7月に3泊滞在しました。ロケーションは明洞に近く歩いて10分ほど、南大門市場には5分ほど、南山ケーブルカーには歩いていける距離で便利でした。地下鉄も近く、会賢駅を利用していろんな所に行けました。ただ、ヒルハウスだけに坂がきついので足の悪い方にはお勧めできません。
インターネットのサービスはロビーのみで部屋ではWi-Fiは使えませんでした。部屋にはインターネットの線が引かれているためパソコンを持っていけばインターネットできます。
部屋はきれいです。快適に過ごせました。スタッフの方は日本語も出来てとても親切にしていただきました。変圧器も貸して頂いて助かりました。

Really nice hotel. Super easy to get to from the train station. Loved the style of the hotel rooms, staffy very friendly, free breakfast which was pretty good!!
ALL in ALL Hotel Kobos was a really nice hotel that i would highly recommend it!! but shhhhh keep it a personal secret! LOL
