Radisson Ambassador Plaza Hotel & Casino San Juan

This was a very bad hotel. It smelled horrible. The rooms were old and molded. The bedding had us itching all night. My husband became sick after leaving.

a bad day gone worse! on arrival i did not get the rooms i booked. instead of two rooms with two beds each, we got two rooms with one bed each. kind of hard to fit 5 people in two beds. BACK to the front desk and we get to rooms too far apart and oh! the card keys didn't work. BACK to the front desk and finally the keys worked. all with no apology. and by the way, they charge their guests for parking. on day five of our stay the air-conditioner in one room broke down. their fix was to put 3 people in one room with only one bed. i guess they thought it would be cosy. mid afternoon of the next day the replacement air-conditioner arrived and was soon followed by a call from the front desk asking me to have my daughter vacate the room after not being able to get a good nights sleep due to the discomfort of being crowed three to a bed. again with no apology. [...] of course, if there is strength in numbers perhaps posting this review with the New York City Police Benevolent Society (PBA) would help my fellow NYPD police officers in avoiding a bad situation. vacation time should be relaxing, not aggravating!

Extremely rude front desk. Car was damaged by Hotel Staff in the Parking Lot ( with the casino being busy, cars are parked everywhere..inches apart )

The room the gave me first on the 7th floor smelled like something was burning plus the phones did not work. they moved us to the 3rd (326) floor in front of the cleaning room. The rug was filthy and the experience totally different from the 7th floor. I will never stay in that hotel ever again.

Ok, so first of all the location was not very lit up. The sign was not in a location you could actually see from far or close. (Hard to spot) If you have not been there before or lived there before would be very hard to find. Staff was friendly to a point. Really need to put that you have to pay add'l for parking $ for the day or $ for every hour. unless you tell the gate person you are staying there. Parking some days was a nightmare and there is no designated ares for guess when the parking is full. So you have to go through the valet. Looks nothing like the picture but I guess nothing does. If you are able to park they do have a 24hr guard that roams around the parking lot. Thats really good. Rooms are ok. Not a wow experience but Its a place to sleep. No fridge or microwave. Bathroom is extremly small. Tv located in a cabinet the the doors would not stay open unless you kept them open with something. ---> Good things... Hall ways were clean and the pool stayed open for an extra hour. Gym is really nice. Free weights and cardio machines.

hotel it's not panoramic ocean view,it's 1 block from the ocean.

They apparently are on the upward swing, but not there yet. Bed is still uncomfortable.

This hotel requires a lot af maintanance. Old smelly.

My two previous stays at the Ambassador were fine. This one was extremely noisy during the wee hours of the nights. Lots of noisy trucks, car alarms going off twice, all coming from the parking lot and my room was on the 5th Floor.

Overall the trip and stay at the hotel were fine. It was a convenient location in Condado with easy access to the restaurant/bars/casinos in the area. The rooms and general decor was a little dated even though everything was in working order. The coffee served in the restaurant was outstanding! Some of the best I have had in a long time!
